  1. Hey, I have a question that I've been wondering about for a looong time, when I update a mod through NMM, the old version's description and tick-box still stays in the mods menu. Yes it's not activated, but if you have a lot of mods installed like me, they cover up too much space. So far I've always deleted those versions, but I wondered if that actually deleted those mods' files aswell, or just that description from the NMM mods page. I'd love if someone can answer.
  2. Hi everyone, recently I've been having big stutters in cities and also outside. I am using many graphic mods, such as Skyrim 2K, Serious HD Retexture, and the official HD pack (with the .ini tweak to overwrite it, at least I think that's what it does) I also have other bunch of mods such as clothing, sounds, Skyui, faces etc., but lately, the game has been stuttering a lot. It is more noticable in cities and big, open areas, such as pretty much anywhere outside. Dungeons and inside the houses work without a problem, but these stutters make the game unplayable for me for some time. This is my rig: Intel i3-2100 3.1 Ghz with HT AMD 6950 HD Graphics Card 4GB DDR3 Ram Windows 7 Home Premium 1 TB Seagate HDD Before all these mod installations, the game stuttered in these places too, but briefly, especially when for example, the initial few seconds when I'm in those areas. However lately, the stutterings can last almost as long as 10 seconds, it gets much better after that but still, it is just a lot. I play the Skyrim with Ultra settings, but AA and AAF turned off from the game's settings. I override the game's settings through Catalyst Control Center, with 4x AA and 16x AAF. However, I am okay to reduce these or simply just use the in-game settings altogether if it will make it more bearable. There are also other settings such as AA quality, which I was using at the highest quality and a few other tweaks, which I don't know too much about. I am also okay to uninstall a few mods if it will make it better. Thanks to anyone who can help, this is really making the game not enjoyable for me and I'd love to have it fixed. About a month ago when I was playing a lot, I still had basically the graphics mods but in general I had way less mods installed, and the game worked much more smoother. As I've said I really don't know what I can do, so if someone maybe give some general tips to improve the performance while keeping the mods, I'd be very happy.
  3. If it's in the file, i can't find it. I suspect it'll come as a seperate program. If/when it does come you should be able to see in your tools library on steam (for those that don't know, you can find it in the drop down menu labeled All Games, which is the default library), I don't see it there yet myself . I updated my SKSE with the Beta version after the update and my game launched successfully. Just clarifying that.
  4. By starting up the game through the desktop shortcut, my problems are solved. I am guessıng ıt's due to Steam not seeıng that the game has ended. Thanks a lot for help!
  5. Indeed I start my game through the Steam window. I'll try launching it through the desktop shortcut and post the results here. I have checked google before but I haven't seen this issue anywhere.
  6. I'm playing on Fullscreen mode. I usually exit by Escape, Exit from the menu and then choose Desktop.
  7. Hello people, I'm a recently joined member here, first of all I wanna say hi to all ! I am having a weird issue with Skyrim. I have noticed this for a long time now, since I've even first played the game. Apparently the process TESV.exe*32 does not shut down after I exit the game. When I look at processes list from the Task Manager it is still there (eating up some of my RAM capacity) and I am constantly flagged as "In-Game The Elder Scrolls V:Skyrim" on the Steam. I tried to end the process through the Processes list from the Task Manager but it just doesn't do anything. It doesn't shut down. I wonder if this happens to anyone else. This isn't really ruining my day, but when I want to exit Steam it doesn't because it is waiting for the game to close. The issue is the game is already closed minutes ago ! Much thanks for any suggestion and help. I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit.
