  1. Working on some new weapons and a new exo style armor.
  2. It's not an issue with consoles per say (at least not for me), it's an issue with beth.net. As @Crimsonhawk87 stated, in order to upload to consoles you have to upload to beth.net and a lot of authors aren't very comfortable uploading there because of the complete lack of policing stolen mods.
  3. I find the issue to be more with bethesda.net, regardless of whether its console or pc. I'm betting Nexus self policing will still be 100000x better than what ever half baked system beth comes up for beth.net. So the most ideal solution would be something to recognize if the user is using NMM vs bethesda's system, if something like that was at all possible.
  4. Damn is that a C64? YUP This one is missing the HDD, which looks like the (full size) floppy drive w/o the insert. Yes it was a separate unit
  5. I'd win by default. It only costs about $12 to file a claim and become such a pain in the @ss, their lawyers would likely offer up some form of compensation, or at the very least, the immediate removal of said content, just to save the plane fare (since the claim is filed in the locality of the aggrieved party, and their representative must attend to argue the claim) Trykz Troll level: LEGEND
  6. http://www.polygon.com/2016/6/7/11877442/fallout-4-stolen-mods-xbox-one-pc LOL PC players "say"...
  7. Actually they have it and it's not a exception in the buisness world. There are many others companies with exactly the same type of EULA and they have already sold users's content by this way, like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc... I think you can have a interest to read this: http://www.nyccounsel.com/business-blogs-websites/who-owns-photos-and-videos-posted-on-facebook-or-twitter/ http://www.cnet.com/news/instagram-says-it-now-has-the-right-to-sell-your-photos/ But you have right about some public relation issues that may happen. Also keep in mind that if they created bethesda.net and avoid Steam workshop, it's also to have the plain control of the moderation and the term of service about mods, and eventually if paid mods will make a comeback, avoid the due percentage to Valve. If bethesda ever incorporated some modder's custom asset in their game officially without consent of the author, I'll bet you anything the courts would side with the mod author. That would be text book copyright infringement and put bethesda at risk of a hefty lawsuit.
  8. Which is why we're relying on Bethesda to do the right thing and need to communicate with them, rather than locking horns with them. If we had an "official" voice to represent our concerns, we could maybe make Bethnet and console mods work for everyone. I honestly don't believe they hold us in any contempt, contrary to a lot of what's being said. I agree completely. So let's start brain-storming! Start throwing out ideas, guys. US copyright law trumps an EULA any day. If Bethesda truly owned what we made, then when a mod containing a new custom made asset is uploaded, it would mean we wouldn't legally be allowed to use said asset elsewhere. Since that's NOT the case it means mod authors retain the rights to what ever assets they create, regardless of the format it may be converted to.
  9. I had this baby before I got a console, though I'm not sure where it technically falls haha. Had a crt monitor, "game" cartridges and all.
  10. Beth PR machine is hard at work http://www.inquisitr.com/3176503/bethesda-wants-to-protect-fallout-4-mod-creations-on-xbox-one-pc/ Going to be hard to spin "modders removing content from beth.net in droves" though
  11. In order for a mod to be available on console, it at least has to be uploaded to beth.net. Now I'm not sure about other modders, but the EULA on beth.net kinda scares the crap outta me, so I'll probably steer clear of beth.net for now.
  12. I *think* that all console mods will be going through beth.net, and will be vetted/selected some way on bethesada.net. They already don't allow adult content as far as I know on bethesada.net, so I doubt consoles will be seeing anything containing adult content any time soon (if ever).
  13. I'm working on a re-envisioned Bozar model and a M2 .50 cal with DU rounds (shout out to tactics!)
  14. I had made this weapon model a little while back: and I'm re-imagining it with fallout's art style in mind. It's still an early WIP: It'll make more sense when it's further along. I also have this light/medium machine gun model I had worked collaboratively with another modeler on, but we decided that the game we made it for would be a bit of a waste since it's dead, so we are releasing it to fallout. Still needs a few tweaks to it so it can be modded in properly.
  15. Has anyone found a way to import custom meshes/rigs/animations to be imported? I still can't seem to create an account (severs jammed or something) so I haven't been able to boot the kit yet. I know @Aikospacerogue said something about mesh exporting, but I'd like to know before I bother making game specific content
  16. Got a bit of time on my hands and I've been fiddling with a few different model ideas. I'd like to team up with a few guys and work on some small projects. Nothing big, maybe a few new unique weapon models with weapon mods. Could use a texture artist as texturing is not my forte, though I could get by (barely haha) if I had to. Here's some of my work.
