  1. Or just give you the option of choosing ingredients OR caps, the first would be like you building it yourself, the second would be like you are buying the item from a vendor to place down.
  2. Scrap Everything has worked well for me and it stays updated pretty regularly, and lets you scrap more than Spring Cleaning. But you have to be careful and save often cause it lets you scrap everything but the dirt, lol. I've never switched scrap mods during a playthrough but I would imagine anything scrapped will return after uninstalling a mod.
  3. Welcome to 2016, where every game gets it's "15 min of fame" until 15 min later when a new game comes out, and so on and so on. Add to that peoples 2 sec attention span these days and no game is going to be FOTM for very long. Lol, I haven't seen a game stay popular for more than 6 months since World of Warcraft released. There are just too many to chose from now. I love FO4 and will probably be playing it until FO5 comes out, doesn't matter to me if no one ever creates another mod, I'll just make my own. ;)
  4. New Orleans, New York, New Jersey, doesn't matter to me where it's located, I will play it cause I love Bethesda games and I'm never disappointed from any hype which I don't pay attention to anyway, cause either way I will eventually install tons of mods that allow me to make it MY game and play it the way I want to, not the way some corporate exec expects me to play it.
  5. After last weeks ninja update and Steam reseting my settings, I put contingency plans into play... I put a copy of the 1.7.10 FO4 exe in a safe place and started Steam in offline mode, was glad I did when I saw "update qued" today. Take that, Steam, the force is strong in this one.
  6. Because it's already outdated, FO4 snuck in 1.7.10 today
  7. And here we go again... 1.7.10 Steam reset my "no updates"...again "sigh"
  8. That image looks like the fuel container in Homemaker.
  9. Well, I found out mine was caused by me deleting the overturned subway train in Vault 88 in the CK. Guess it had something to do with the Precombined mesh mess...oops, I mean Bethesda's performance enhanceing strategy. Guess you gotta be extremely careful what you delete or what mods you use that delete or "clean up" certain areas. This Precombined mesh business is going to make modding very difficult.
  10. That looks like what happens when you have the line "bUseCombinedObjects=0" in your Fallout 4.ini file.
  11. I've often wondered about this too, it makes it difficult trying to get lighting the way you want it when building multi-story places. Seems like if there is a way to stop rain from coming through there would be a way to stop light.
  12. I don't use LOOT, it seems too unreliable, I've always manually sorted mine using Gambit77's guidelines and never had any problems with over 230 mods installed. I agree, bUseCombinedObjects=0 is something to use very carefully, I usually only use it to scrap some eyesore out of the way then set it back to 1. I read most of that article and Arthmoor's posts have helped me to understand a little better about combined objects, seems that the trade-off for better performance makes modding much more difficult. The thing that made me think this was related to the Vault Tec release is with all the mods I use and the tons of stuff I've scrapped (I've got nearly 1600 hrs in FO4, I need a life!) I'd thought that I had seen every bug, visual glitch, ghosting, etc., but this "texture tripping" thing is something I've never seen before. My images looked just like Kasandrias', there's a guy on another thread, his looks like ours but his also has some weird colors mixed in and it looks look a bad acid trip, lol. Thank you for the link Sharlikran, that article is very helpful! Also, Thank you for SKE. ;)
  13. I ran into the same issue in Vault 88 days after it was released, after a LOT of experimenting and uninstalling I found out mine was caused by me deleting the static subway train in the Vault, I deleted the esp I had made and the "texture tripping" went away. I tried running everything through FO4edit, which showed no conflicts, but it seems deleting that 1 static object caused my whole vault to "texture trip". There's another thread on the forum with people having the same issues, some of them are experiencing this from certain mods, but it seems that everyone hasn't experienced this until after Vault-Tec was released. IDK, maybe Bethesda did some tinkering again.
  14. I don't use Faction Housing AIO or HD reworked, I tried uninstalling the couple texture mods I use and that didn't help either. I'm at a loss, I hope someone figures this out cause Vault 88 dang near gives me a migraine with this happening constantly.
  15. That looks a lot like what I've done to mine, I also went into the CK and deleted the over-turned train and built in the subway. The uranium mine is going to be my personal overseer quarters/mansion. Only wish my hand drawn map looked as good as yours. ;)
  16. I have the same issue and couldn't find any info on Google, mainly cause I don't know what to call that; Texture freeze/tear/rip? lol Mine only does it in Vault 88 and only when looking in a certain direction, and always in the same direction no matter what part of the vault I'm in. It started a couple days ago and I haven't added any new mods.
  17. I have those same issues, but mine are settlement specific, some settlements all the gas lamps, barrels, and fancy wall lights emit no light at all, at others they work fine. I've also noticed at the places they don't work it also effects the same type of lights from mods as well. It seems like the simple light bulb and industrial wall light are about the only ones never affected, I'd also like to find a mod that fixes this.
  18. I opened up the console in front of the main bench and typed "setav 349 -1" "enter" "setav 34b -1" "enter" and it emptied the bar for me. Saw that tip on a mod page somewhere. Hope it helps. Edit: you have to click on the bench while console is open.
  19. Manufactoring Extended adds new devices and modifies exsisting ones CWSS redux adds functioning showers, sinks, and toilets complete with sounds lol. Basement Living lets you build small underground hideaways. Northland Diggers adds a lot of new jobs/workstations. These are just off the top of my head. ;)
  20. The two teddy bears gettin it on next to a bottle of whiskey. ;)
  21. Psycho Jet, assault rifle, or any of Skibadaa's weapons, then have a cigarette. ;)
  22. At my other settlements I was still able to build all the new furniture, lights, etc. and the surgery and barber chairs, but not the guard post, power station and vault build set. Oh well, I'm sure ccmads will have it in SOE before long, lol. ;)
  23. Does the mod plan on using only vanilla building assets?
  24. I started having the same problem about a month ago, use chrome , having all the issues posted above plus scrolling down a page sometimes locks for several seconds, this is the only site that I encounter this.
  25. I have 238 mods installed, 209 active plugins, F4SE, countless texture mods, only use Nexus and NMM, haven't had any issues at all.
