  1. I recently got a new laptop for gaming in the bedroom, and rather than download all my mods again that I use on my main computer I copied the mods folder to a USB and transferred them that way - into the games "Mods" folder and not into the Vortex install folder. I was hoping to bypass having to edit all those config files again. When starting Vortex, though, it says I don't have any mods installed - even the two automatically installed when installing SMAPI, which is required to use for modding Stardew valley. Is there anyway to get Vortex to recognize that these are installed so I can update notices on them? They show up when I run the game and see the SMAPI messages scrolling by. I couldn't find any help using a web search and if it's anywhere in the built in help files, I couldn't find it. Thanks.
  2. I'm having the same problem.. Any ideas, anyone? Edit: Downloaded and installed newest version. All is well. (Where's the delete post option?)
  3. I hope someone does have the answer, as this just happened to me after my first change back from a Vampire Lord. All groups were wiped.
  4. I have no idea if this can be done, but what I'd like to see is a mod that adds whether a weapon is a one-handed or two-handed weapon. With all the weapon mods out there it's hard to tell and there's no fun in creating what you think is one type of weapon only to find out it's the other. Would it be something as simple as looking at a certain property that is stored in each weapon, and then appending that to the name as it's displayed in the Smithing menu,(i,e, "Iron Dagger - 1H") or is it much more complicated? In any case, if it's doable I'd like to see it. So many weapon mods and it is hard to tell some times what type they are. Thanks.
  5. Still playing. Took a short break a couple months ago but I'm immersed again. On my latest character I've actually discovered two places (vanilla, no DLC or dungeon mods - yet) that I've never seen before. Guess that comes from, "Oh yeah, this quest. I have to go THIS way" over and over and not enough, "Hmm, let's just wander somewhat in this direction for a while". :) Finally trying to play a mage. Getting easier around level 18 now.
  6. I'm with most of the others. I like the idea of a follower, especially as a mage. However, I usually am so frustrated with being blocked in rooms I've just searched, or having the follower rush ahead and block my shot/spell (and then yell at ME when they get hit) that I tend to stay away from them as much as possible.

  8. In my game, Belethor is dead. Seems he was, uh, killed by a first-time werewolf running rampant in the town. :whistling:
