    I have this issue that happened suddenly. I have uninstalled all mods and it still happens. No solution to this?

    takes me a number of times to sign in even when the recaptcha is correct, google chrome up to date, privacy settings work on every other site, real pain in the butt so I only log in to see restricted content or to rarely down load a mod

    I am way late to this question but Quince99 is the mod author. I commented frequently on his mods before he left Nexus. He always replied. I also am looking for his mods.

    tried a number of fixes... reload, delete saves, FO4 edit, very cache... nothing works so I just wiped out all the factions, gonna leave the Institute until last, then delete my game folder and re download

    I have a similar laptop. Are you staring the game with the launcher or skse?

    I got the black screen after the start menu. I could see dialogue prompts only. After opening the menu and closing I got a rapidly flashing screen. I tried changing ini settings, driver update, loading different saves, disabling mods, running versions back to 1.6.9. Nothing worked so I deleted my fallout 4 folder, d/l from steam now, going to take 5 hours.

    it may not be mod related. I had that happen to me and finally realized i had not completed the scene my character was in so as to allow the game to continue. I had fast traveled and avoided a conversation with an npc.

    after hours of scouring the internet I found this console command works: removefact('sq102_import_geralt_has_tattoo')

    Did any of your mods change the key assignments?

    I'm way late to this party but I have only recently begun playing Witcher 3. I imported a Witcher 2 save that has the tattoo, which I loathe. There is now a mod to remove it on Nexus but it does not work for my version of the game which is 1.3.1 GOTY from Steam.

    you may need to remove your mods and then add them back one at a time to find which is causing the errors

    I rushed into the game since this was the first time I have played it, so I ignored both of those options. Thank you for explaining it.

    I'm not a modder but I have found that adding mods to Witcher is more difficult than with Bethesda games. There are no sex mods for Witcher anyway.
