  1. To put it simply, if you don't know what you like, and what you don't, you won't know were to begin on modding. Maybe install a few mods, like SkyUI, iHUD, and texture replacers that just make the game look and feel better without changing anything. I would at least play for a little while before modding. I played on PS3 for almost a year before swapping to PC. lol If you get into the game and decide you don't like it, just start over and start with an overhaul mod, like Requiem or Skyrim Redone, these change so much.
  2. Sadly its a very complicated thing, short of an update to racemenu that does that, then odds are we wont see it for a while. I was wanting them same thing to be added into racemenu a while back, and I remember being told any sort of editing of how tint masks worek is "very complicated" for someone who doesn't know exactly what they are doing.
  3. My personal suggestion; Advanced Follower Tweaks + Requiem + Mods that go with requiem and make it harder, like Organized Bandits or Immersive Creatures. Requiem because it balances the game, and makes it a lot harder, so that having multiple followers is not overly unfair. It also makes getting followers harder. lol AFT lets you customize how each followers acts, and attacks, you can make then stand there grand, chase enemies till they die, defend you, or keep themselves alive even if it means fleeing. You can make them were specific outfit sets, use specific spells, and even make them cast the spells on you.
  4. YOUR IMAGINATION But really, there's countless. It all comes down to opinion. I like Interesting NPCs, because it adds a lot of good followers that you encounter naturally. I honestly suggest anything but the 899579843579 "Dovimals", they are neat for about 3 seconds until you remember it's just a boring old animal with no more effort put into it then having an iron helmet slapped on it, then you just wish you had downloaded a real follower with voice acting, who adds interesting things to the game and your adventure, and helps and protects you in battle, instead of doing nothing but lugging all your gear.... While wearing an iron helmet. lol Just my personal opinion. Hoth and Atvir Dres are two of my favorite individual followers, though I can't here the later 90% of the time because despite his great voice acting, his voice is so grumbly and low it gets drowned out easily by the music and other various sounds.
  5. Alright, I have a beta of the patch ready if anyone wants to give it a shot! Also, I edited back in the default agro settings, I determined that it was in fact causing some less-aggressive-then-to-be-desired bandits. Better to have them attack everything then to have them stand there and yell at me untill I attack them! lol http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/48449/ Tell me what you think! Hopefully I didn't mess anything up, I'm not encountering any problems in my game, but that is just one example, I really need a good bit more before I can confirm it's actually 'working' Also, Inigoblade, if I did anything wrong let me know, i want to make sure that you are happy with this patch. lol Cause if you are then your fans should be!
  6. Tbh job, the bandit faction doesn't actually make bandits aggressive to people, it's that the nature of each bandit makes them attack everyone on sight, i follow the vanilla very agressive agro state which makes all bandits attack people not set as allies or same faction That bothered me for some reason, I think it's because it's almost 6 in the morning and I haven't slept yet well, they still agro against people, but they were set up very different from people and requiem, so they basically agro against EVERYTHING, even like, goats, and foxes. I did notice in game they weren't quite as aggresive as I would have liked, so I will change this back, but do to TES5Edit being weird, I basically have to remake the patch from scratch again...
  7. I know, right? That beautiful "hey, yo kids wanna buy some drugs?" face. Who can resist that Yeah, she looks like my characters face in Saints Row 2! lol I tried to get a pic of it right quick, but the screenshot came out solid whitey. Derpy game. I wish skyrim had a facial design system more like SR though. XD
  8. Your character sounds like he would work greta in requiem in my opinion, I actually have a khajiit with a very similar build, based around light armor, hand to hand combat, alchemy and archery. Requiem can be hard to survive in lower levels if you don't use certain skills, and thus it can be hard to RP in, but those certain skills are alchemy, smithing, and archery, or restoration if you are a mage. lol You have to use at least one or two of those to survive requiem. I can personally tell you as someone who likes for my game to be very hard, without making it buggy and weird, requiem is great. It's so solid, predictable, and stable, you never get killed by weird funniness, you always get killed by something that would logically kill you. Also, look into "Locational Damage" I use this with requiem, (Plus iHUD to disable my crosshair, as it makes archery a bit busted if you get good at head shots) and it makes the game really intense, a one on one fight with a humanoid enemy lasts a matter of seconds if no one uses a shield. An archer can kill you in a single shot, or give you an annoying wound. Shields become a bit more useful, and duel wielding does as well, because twice as many hits means twice as many chances to kick off critical hit or extra effect of LD. I personally find these two, combined with "immersive creatures" (set on legendary) is all I need to make my game very hard, yet enjoyable. I've tried duel combat realism and deadly dragons, but neither of these really made the game feel hard AND balanced. If you do get requiem, I suggest you get a mod like "lost smelters of skyrim" it makes it so that a city without a smelter is a city not worth visiting, and since riften and solitude have no smelters it makes those normally handy cities to visit a pain in the but to visit for any character that uses smithing (which is great to use in requiem)
  9. It was on sell for $20 earlier, which was an insane deal. It's still a great deal. The mods alone are worth the price of buying it on steam!
  10. http://static2.nexusmods.com/110/mods/110/images/48313-1-1385830733.jpg Click the image above to visit the mod page! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- EDIT; The site cut off the last two letters of the title, and I can't edit it. Can a mod please change my title to this so it all fits? {REL}Aetherius; The many and diverse heavens beyond the void You really need to fix me not being able to edit my own thread title, rather then giving me the ability to delete comments on my mod page. Or at least restrict the number of characters in the title to the number of characters it will post. Thank you for your time. VVVVV-Actual mod description begins below!!-VVVVV --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Our world was born from magicka, the creative force that informs and sustains all life. The sources of magic are the many and diverse heavens beyond the void, collectively known as the Aetherius. Aetherius, ancestral seat of the Nine Divines and the other original spirits, is the plane of pure magicka. Whereas Oblivion may surround us every night, it is aetherial energy that infuses our daily existence, from highest to lowest, and gives all the races of men, mer, and beast common purpose. Its magic brings the rain to the fields, love to our hearths, and scientific principles to our technological industries. It gives us the very Sun itself. Finally, Aetherius is the home to the Aedra, those cornerstones of the Mundus whose aspects we see in temple, in lordship, and the high walk of heroes." - Pocket Guide to the Empire, 3rd Edition "The planets are the gods and the planes of the gods, which is the same thing. That they appear as spherical heavenly bodies is a visual phenomena caused by mortal mental stress. Since each plane(t) is an infinite mass of infinite size, as yet surrounded by the Void of Oblivion, the mortal eye registers them as bubbles within a space. Planets are magical and impossible." The plane of Aetherium is a strange and wondrous place. The lore, so it be called, is left open to interpretation, even those who stare up at the night sky each and every night, admit they do not really see what their eyes behold. For each and every being on Nirn the sky is said to appear slightly different, as it's actual appearance is far to difficult for the average mortal mind to understand. It is said the Dwemer in all their vast understanding, never once described seeing Massar and Secunda, one may simply brush this off as a simple disinterest in these dead plane(t)s. But another possible answer is, the Dwemer saw the sky more for what it is then the average mortal, and that Massar and Secunda are but what the average mind creates when staring up into the countless plane(t)s of Aetherius. But, the Dragonborn is not the average mind. You see, the blood of the god of Aetherius, Akatosh himself runs through your veins, and thus the illusion of the lesser mind is not placed upon you. So you, and you alone in this age can observe the plane(t)s of Aetherius in their true, indescribable majesty. Though the 8 Aedra are called the Gods, and that these 8 Gods make up the 8 Plane(t)s of the Gods, it is also said they are not the only beings in the Aetherial plane. They are many. They are diverse. The Aedra are what we call the 8 who selflessly created our world, but the Deadra are what we call the ones that selfishly meddle in our world. The Deadric planes are the Deadric gods and the planets of the gods, which is the same thing, just as they are the same as Aedra, just lesser. As lesser as one infinite thing can be from another. The Aedra and Deadra are not the only beings in the Aetherius, but the only ones that have an effect on the Mortal plane(t), in truth, there are countless diverse plane(t)s and gods, many of which keeps to themselves, and their own machinations. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Installation Download the file, and extract the "Data" folder from the "Core - Main Files" folder, and merge it with the "data" folder in your "Skyrim" folder (The one that contains SkyrimLauncher.exe) and make sure it overrights EVERY file it asks to overright! (they are all texture files) This mod will NOT work or look right without every single one of these files. Then, open the folder for every option you want or need to install and extract the "Data" folder from each one, one by one, and merge it with your "Data" folder in the same exact manner described above. Install "Low Res Galaxy DDS" if you want to save FPS(make sure to install AFTER the main file then say YES when it asks to overright!) install "Climates of Tamriel" folder if you use Climates of Tamriel, and install "Moon Size ESP" folder if you want to have larger moons like in the screenshots! HERE is a visual example of what your Data/Textures/Sky folder should look like, and how to make sure the mod is installed correctly! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Questions and Answers Q] What happened to my stars?/Why are my stars shining through my planets? A] This mod removes stars. If you try to install a star texture with this mod, the result will be very very glitchy and horrible looking, this is thanks to a limitation in skyrim's way of handling the sky, and there is nothing I can do about it without totally destroying every aspect of how this mod works. If you want a simple galaxy replacer with no planets and normal stars, go download one! ^_^ There are about 50 of them. Q] My ENB exploded when I installed this! A] ENBs do that. It's not my fault. They are very finicky and glitchy, I designed this mod to work with them if they are reasonably designed, but as some have INSANE amounts of bloom there is simply nothing I can do to make this mod work with all of them short of making 900 patches for every ENB on the nexus. Q] Will this work with.... ? A] Probably. This should work with anything that does not edit the night sky. This replaces EVERY texture in the night sky, and thus, you should not attempt to combined it with any mod that edits the NIGHT sky, or the sun texture. Q] How does it look with Climates of Tamriel? A] AMAZING. Because it is designed to be used with it, and in fact the sun texture is edited from it's sun texture (with permission of coarse) Make sure to install the CoT optional files, or your sun might randomly change colors on you! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Suggested Mods This is the Spiritual Successor to my other mod More Alien Skyrim if you like this mod, give that mod a look! Please note, that these two mods are VERY incompatible with one another! This mod is designed to work with Climates of Tamriel and will look much better with it. It does not at all require it to work though, it just looks better then vanilla. Enhanced Lights and FX also looks great with this mod. I suggest the SweetFX mod Ultimate Lighting Overhaul and my preset for it Dramatic Cinematic. Combine this with ELFX and COT to get the exact look of my screenshots. Random Mod Title is another of my mods that allows you to play as Deadmau5 in skyrim. It has NOTHING to do with this mod, but what harm does a little self promotion on my own mod page do?
  11. Thank you!! Much appreciated... Demonic... pink.. fuzzball. COOL NAME! Haha, thanks! XD
  12. If you do an 'all in one' fast travel overhaul it could become a pretty good mod. possibly do ships and boats to, as well as maybe some magical options in the mages guild like in morrowind? =o I would use that, as long as it was stable. ^_^ I so thing the idea of guides does sound good. Maybe making some specialized guides would be cool as well? Like a 'dwemer specialist' in markarth who can take you to nearby ruins? I also feel these "guides" who take you out into the field, and not just towns/cities should be big and tough looking so immersion buffs can get the impression that they are protect them on the journey for their extra coin. Just an idea though. =3
  13. SkyTEST Realistic Animals And Predators also adds animal sounds, IIRC, as well as better AI. I hear howls and stuff all the time and I'm looking round in panic as 5 SkyTEST wolves can take out my level 10 Dunmer Nightblade in no time at all. I have to really Stealth about using Fireballs and when it comes down to melee, my Ancestor Wrath is needed. So I try to avoid direct contact with wolves until I get better armour and sword skills. I am not allowed Archery! Sabre cats, I just don't hear them coming. And if I see them at a distance, they lie down and stalk me like a real cat. So I stand motionless in Sneak mode and back away, VERY slowly, until I can hide behind a rock. It's the only way to escape. Yes, a lot of mods would benefit from MCM. I had a look at it and I think you need programming skills to make your mod use it - beyond me. I never use console commands to configure mods as I always forget. Except where they are needed to initialise or shut down and uninstall. ~ I tried sky test, but didn't like it to much. Nothing really specific made me not like it, but it edits a lot of stuff and has a lot of incompatibles for very minimal changes. Also, it claimed to fixed the 'animals not attacking in unison' thing, which was the main reason I used it, but I still get attacked by bears, sabre cats, frostbite spiders, wolves and/or frostbite spiders all at once. if I hide, they might attack each other on occasions, but if I get near them they all focus on me. Also, i don't think SkyTEST is compatible with Requiem. lol
  14. The Field Lab is the mod you were talking about! http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/41902//? Also, based on how you have described liking to play (which is very much how I like to play, in fact I use all the mods you listed) have you ever tried requiem? it requires starting a new character, but might be a good thank to try for your next play through. =3 http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/19281//?
  15. Yes, THAT is the very reason I took out SOS - Civilisation. The emptiness and calm of the Wilderness is what gives Skyrim a lot of it's charm. You never know when you'll meet a sabre cat, troll or a dragon! A wayfarer's rest Inn in the middle of nowhere should be just as calm and quiet. I did use the Immersive Patrols mods for a long time (there's nine of them), but there were just too many of them every few hundred yards. But I'm trying his new Populated Lands Roads Paths.esp, which seems to be a lot lighter and more in keeping with a wilderness where everyone is off fighting an invisible civil war. ~ I didn't feel a need to disable it, just turn off about 3 of the options (taverns shouts, city crowds, and tavern crowds) when I load a save in a tavern it still plays the tavern crowds loop though. =[ i really like some of the other sounds civilizations adds though, so I can live with that to keep it. it bums me out though, because I usually make hard saves and stop playing while in taverns >.< and the only NPC mod I have ever liked is Interesting NPCs. I was looking at that new mod you mentioned, but a lot of people reported weirdness and bugs in the comments, so I'm gunna give it a few more weeks of bug fixes before I give it a shot. lol I do like how the 'wilds' sos adds in animal sounds. Normally if you heard say, a wolf howl, that always ment a wolf would slam into you sometime in the next 30 seconds. now you can never be sure! SoS just REEEAAAALLY needs an MCM menu. lol, I have almost uninstalled it simply because it doesn't, in fact if requiem didn't force me to wait until after I start my character to edit it's MCM menu I would have uninstalled SoS for that very reason!
  16. try installing a new face/head mesh mod, like 'no more blocky faces' when something visual breaks, and all else has failed, just install new stuff until you get lucky and something overights it! lol
  17. The nexus is free to use and play and upload and download. If you choose, to optionally upgrade your account to premium you get access to advanced features, but you by no means need a single one of these two do anything on this site.... well I think one of these features allows access to a special "unrated" picture upload area, and if you specifically want to make or download adult oriented mods, then you may want a premium account. Other then that, some tools like photoshop are very expensive, but all of them have free alternative. I believe photoshop still has a free version of CS2 up for download on their site, it's what I use and it works perfect for editing textures and didn't cost me a penny. I believe you need a specific program to edit meshes that's like $50 (compared to $400~$600 for a full up to date version of photoshop) but again I believe there is a free version of this program that's just a bit feature stripped. However, the programs you need to mod skyrim itself, are free with the purchase of skyrim, and the programs to organized, clean, edit, and perfect your mods are all free to download from this site as well, uploading and downloading is free forever, and countless modder's resources can be downloaded from the nexus and used for nothing more then giving a thank you note in the credits of your mod to the modders who created the resources you used. ^_^
  18. I use all three SoS with the CoT patch for each, and I never experience any CTD or issues. It is important to NOT use the CTD patch unless you are having CTDs without it, because it can cause CTDs worse then the normal version can. lol I have also tried it with other sounds mods, and the only issue I have ever encountered is that if I have a specific sound loop is disabled, it still plays if I load a save with my character in that cell. The only noticeable example being, that if I load up in an inn I still here the "50 random people mumbling inside the walls" that I find very distracting and creepy. This and the similar sound loop in cities I find to be the only bad parts of SoS, as skyrim is a very sparsely populated place, and I avoid mods that add NPCs because almost all of them create CTDs. When you are in the middle of nowhere, in some run down, itty bitty inn shared by you, one lonely orc, and the barkeep, and you can here a dozen people mumbling constantly... endlessly... even at 3 in the morning, it's very very.... o_o what's the word.... maddening.
  19. You really seem obsessive. A fantasy game is a fantasy game. If you like being killed in 1 hit, fine, that is great. However, I don't like how you act like if you don't you are god like. Again, it's fantasy for a reason. To some people, dieing in 1 hit isn't fun. I can do that in real life >.>. The point of games is to be able to do things you can't in real life. To be something you couldn't be. Frankly, I think you are putting Requiem way to high on a pedestal and knocking everything else with out thinking about how your opinion means nothing to others. What you like ..ISN'T what everyone else likes. I don't even think you realize that your words are belittling people. Requiem requires you to think? OH ... really? Are you calling everyone who doesn't use it stupid or something? I am sorry to tell you this, but I have to come up with some pretty crazy strategies just to survive with SkyRe and ASIS. So I really don't know what the hell you are talking about. How do I take down 15 bandits in a building, 4+ of which that can kill me in a couple hits? So trust .. me .. it requires thinking. Just because I can survive more then 1 arrow doesn't make the game any less easier, because the same goes with NPCs. "Even in skyre on legendary difficulty, it still takes about twice as may hits to kill me as my average enemy" It also takes probably twice as many hits to kill enemies if not more. Requiem offers a new challenge. I would not go as far to say it's harder or to act like it requires more thinking. It requires different thinking and that is all. So I really suggest you think before you talk. I don't mind if you like Requiem better, I respect that. But don't belittle others telling them Requiem actually requires one to think as if the other mods don't. That is very offensive, so get off your high horse. Edit: I also noticed you talking about intelligence, so I might as well come out and say my IQ is about 130, so I don't have any issues with using my intelligence and yet, I still personally find SkyRe a challenge enough. Maybe it's because I don't power level my way through my games. I am big on roleplay. I really wouldn't have much of an issue with you, if you didn't come off so snobby. Did you even read my post at all? It seems like you just glanced through, picked up a few key phrases, then started bashing me for having a different opinion then you. I said myself I liked SkyRe a lot, and that I totally understand WHY people don't like requiem and that it's not for everyone, I also did not say ANYTHING remotely close to requiem being "the only mod that requires one to think" nor did I say anything about SkyRe not requiring thinking. I said Requiem requires more PLANNING then SkyRe which is VERY TRUE and is a flat out FACT based on how the mod is designed, and has nothing to do with intelligence, or how 'good' requiem is, or me trying to insult someone, just MY PERSONAL PREFERENCE. You get off your high horse, and stop acting like everything people say is some shallow minded attempt at insulting you, and stop being offended by, and insulting people who disagree with you. Stop making crap up and putting words in my mouth for no reason at all, YOU are the only one being "highly insulting" here. I am trying to have an intelligent conversation about a mod I like, and you are bashing away at me blindly for no reason at all, and not saying anything that has anything to do with the mod we are talking about. This is a GAME, if you are honestly this damn insulted by me having different opinions on a GAME then you then maybe you shouldn't be playing it. Also, If your IQ is 130 then why are you fussing at me for having a different opinion then you, like your a 12 year old brat? I have every right to praise a mod I like, especially when everyone else in the thread is talking down on it, you have no right whatsoever to call me out, insult me, put words in my mouth and take insult where no insult is meant and try to act like it's MY fault you are insulted by MY opinion about a VIDEO GAME. Also, my IQ is around 155, it's been above 140 since I was 13, I was pretty much born a mathematical genius, but that has NOTHING to do with Skyrim, Requiem, this forum, or what we are talking about, and does not make my opinions, or my ideas any more credible, nor does it mean I think other people are stupid for not liking the mods I like, it simply means that I PERSONALLY like mods that challenge me a great deal, and I PERSONALLY will praise the mods I like because I PERSONALLY LIKE THEM. IQ has nothing to do with anything involved here, and if you honestly considered yourself truly intelligent, you would not take insult to your intelligence so easily, especially when it is VERY clear no insult was meant whatsoever. You don't like Requiem? Fine, don't use. Right me a ten page book WHY you don't like it, list every problem you can think of with it. Don't insult me and try to make me out to be the bad guy for liking something different then you do. Now, if you don't mind, I would like to go back to having an intelligent adult conversation about this mod, as apposed to randomly mindless bashing of people's opinions. On an on topic note, I find being one-hitted by enemies very fun when I can one hit them back. The adrenaline rush I feel from battles in Requiem is unlike any other mod I have ever played, and that's the reason I play it. Not for some imaginary ego god complex where I feel like I'm smarter then everyone else in the world for playing it, that's just totally stupid, I don't need to prove to anyone that I'm smart. I play with Requiem simply because I find it FUN. That's what video games are suppose to be. FUN. Some people find being put up against impossible odds and insanely powerful enemies, while having to claw my way through impossible odds, so that every inch is a victory more fun then running around doing whatever strikes my fancy and using insanely powerful abilities to fight other insanely powerful enemies. Some people really enjoy feeling insanely powerful, like they can do whatever they want, and that they can do things they can never do in real life. SOME PEOPLE DON'T. Some people like to feel connected to there character, like their character suffers from the same limitations they do, so it feels all that much more accomplishing when they complete impossible tasks. Different people have different opinions and play the game differently. I don't care at all if you hate requiem because you like to feel powerful and do things you can't do in real life. Requiem is simply not designed for that, so it makes since you would hate it, and I don't blame you at all for hating it. My posts here have been an attempt to explain to other users why I personally find it fun, and possibly to help prevent users who are undecided on it from getting a bad opinion of it based on all the other posts in this thread. I personally think users should give a shot, and decide for themselves if they hate it, instead of being turned away by people whining about all the "problems" it has, when the only "problem" is that it's a mod clearly not designed for their taste in gameplay. And there is NOTHING wrong with that. There is however something very wrong with trying to convince users to never try one of the best mods on this site, just because you personally don't like it. First of all, I hardly insulted you. I only pointed out portions of your post that sound rather insulting and snobby. Take that how ever you wish. I was just pointing out that I don't agree with what you say. To me it seems like you are the one getting overly hot headed here. Simply by saying .. sorry that isn't what I meant would have sufficed, and I would have apologized for taking your post wrongly. lol ... well ... anyway, I apologize either way, I didn't mean to be rude. Heck, I even pointed out several times, I am fine with your choice in liking Requiem, just as long as you don't insinuate that it requires more intelligence, strategy, or something. Or that it is better. Also, intelligence has very little to do with social interactions. Just because someone is intelligence, doesn't mean they will know what someone means through a block of text. Just figured I should point that out, since you seemed to think it plays a part in intelligence. Also, when I tell people my IQ .. I always choose my lowest score, never my highest. Though I personally never scored 155. Actually, IQ does have some to do with social interactions, I for example, am horrible at them, if you can't tell. I am also very defense, this has nothing to do with my intelligence though, I'm so use to people being mean to me IRL and on other sites that I snap at people without meaning too. lol I'm rather... different. Being very flamboyant and obnoxious are not the best personality traits for making friends on the internet. I also tend to get rude without even meaning to, because I suck at realizing how I'm coming off to other people, and I apologize for that. I'm kinda like Sheldon from the big bang theory, in my mind I'm being nice and helpful, but everyone else sees me as a know it all d-bag. XD ... also, don't take anything I say personally, I am very hormonal and moody thanks to my 'circumstances' and I don't mean it. Oh, and 155 is not my highest score, but my rough average. The highest I ever scored was 177, but I would never say my IQ is NEAR that high, mostly because I only scored that high the once, and because it was a timed test, and my speed of finishing is what made my score so high. Being able to be smart faster doesn't really make you 20 IQ points smarter. lol Every test is very different, I have scored around 135 on some, but on average I score from 150~159 (hitting 160 is way harder then hitting 159, as that is 'legal genius' XD ) I kinda take them for fun. The most 'official' one I ever took I scored a 149, so I do usually say it's around 150. I hope by the time I turn 30 I can score 160 on that same test! =3 Anyways, we have gotten a bit off topic here. lol I honestly can't even think of more stuff to say about requiem, considering I've only been using it for like, 4 days, so I think I'm just going to go find another thread to bug.

  21. What is SFO? I'm horrible with these abreviations haha Skyrim Flora Overhaul xD I mainly use it for Expanded Diversity, simply makes the plant life in skyrim more diverse, pretty, and interesting.
  22. I don't think realistic waters matters when it's installed, but I installed 2k textures EXCEPT for the landscapes, then TR, then 2k textures landscapes, then I installed the roads from TR over 2k textures roads lol Mostly because TR has some pretty nasty looking rock and dirt textures. and as far as I know I have every AMB armor/weapon texture installed, other then that I don't use any other texture packs, except SFO. I do use my mod More Alien Skyrim for the night sky textures, that's about it. The less texture mods you have, the less chance you will get seems. I do still get some seems around some piles of snow that I can not manage to fix for anything, but other then that I'm pretty seem free.
  23. I use TES5Edit to copy over Requiem's bandit stats and skills and perks directly, so they SHOULD be identical to Requiem bandits, since unbalancing things in requiem is obnoxiously easily. lol I actually didn't even touch the CK to make this edit! I personally don't like the CK much myself either.
  24. It's rather hard to be to be honest.. At least on the Nexus. They had a method of displaying new mods that worked AMAZINGLY a while back that got a lot of my mods new vies constantly, but they change dit so they randomly pick one mod a day and display it, it's usually some really dumb, poorly made mod no one cares about, while the interesting mods get totally bypassed, and unless they hit 50+ endorsements within a few days they just disappear into the endless see of mods. They also have a very poor search system, I find myself making insanely annoyingly long mod names so when people search words like "galaxy" and "stars" they find my mod, since the name "more alien skyrim" alone would basically totally prevent it from EVER appearing in search results... All you can do is make a thread, put in your signature, and post around forums a lot. I get an endorsement like, once or twice a week when I stay active on the forums with my signature displaying my mod, if I go inactive, it drops to like, one a month. =[ It's taken me months to get 30 endorsements.
  25. oh, awesome, thanks! I'll check and make sure I have the newest version (probably don't, I downloaded it months ago) and give that a shot next time I'm messing with it. it really sucks to loss your data because it's asking you to save, haha! And I noticed something a bit odd testing it in game, that a lot of the different groups of bandits, like butcher and such were together in the same area. i know some are allied, so is that normal? The new bandits did show up, and didn't seem to be noticeably harder or easier then other bandits to kill. I was using god mode, so I have no idea if the damage they were doing was realistic (because I tried testing without it and charging head on into bandits with requiem is suicide) so far it looks like it's working though. Sadly, the steam black friday sell has just dumped several shiny new games in my lap, so I may not be able to get as much testing done this weekend as I had hoped, lol!
