  1. Getting "Login error: Timeout! Cannot reach the Nexus login server." Earlier in the day, I had also been getting the errors mentioned earlier regarding files failing to download. Edit: Seems to be offline now due to heavy server loads.
  2. In response to post #15450665. #15451400, #15472820, #15488980, #15499685, #15502560, #15506615, #15514540, #15519470, #15522505, #15527575, #15531360 are all replies on the same post. The only "backup InstallLog.xml" I found in the "Nexus Mod Manager/Skyrim/Install Info" directory was overwritten with new data. Was there supposed to be more than one back-up? ---------------------------- Nevermind, I tried a reinstall and it deleted the contents of Games/Nexus Mod Manager/Skyrim/Mods/downloads for Skyrim. At least my Fallout 3 files are fine. What threw me and probably ultimately caused the issue was the uninstall portion of the upgrade. I initially did not uninstall first. Not sure why Fallout 3 is fine, though. ---------------------------- Hopefully this is helping someone as I figure this out. As was noted above, directories changed. My old Mod directory was "Bethesda Softworks/Steam/SteamApps/common/skyrim/mods". This is fine. All the mods are still there. I re-pointed the "Mod Directory" under the "Skyrim" tab in the Settings dialog and everything showed up.
  3. Taikaru, I have encountered the same thing, both in-game and in real life. It seems the game may be simulating the contraction of the iris when exposed to bright light. Go to a dark inn & look at the fire, then turn around. Everything is dark until your toon's "eyes" adjust and you can see better. Look at the fire again and it washes out the detail just like walking into a bright room. This is my guess, at least.
  4. I got an add blocked on the download server select page (~07:45 CDT). URL = http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/download.php?id=68754 It is possible that a corrupt add was missed. Sorry I can't be of more help identifying the specific add.
