  1. I ended up getting rid of the TGR mod due to another issue I was having with it, but thanks for letting me know that anyway.
  2. It was suggested to me to buy Honeyside to “bump” Maven along. I did that, and completed Vex’s and Delvin’s tasks, but Maven is still stuck on having me speak to Bryn. I have also tried using the console to reset Maven, to no avail, and to skip stages in Vald’s quest. The latter did nothing at all. There was no quest update of any kind, no item added, nor did the sunken boat appear where it’s supposed to be. I also didn’t get an error message saying that the game didn’t understand the command. So it seems the game recognizes the command. It just doesn’t seem to do anything with it.
  3. I spoke with Brynjolf about breaking into Mercer's house. He mentions Vald and to talk to Vex about him. Vex mentions that he owes debt to Maven and to speak with her about it. Maven seems to be stuck on the previous TG quest's dialogue and tells me to speak with Brynjolf. Load order (posted below) is mostly the same as the last game; I added the DB Resurrection mod and removed the Civil War Overhaul mod. In the last game I was able to speak with Maven and do the quest, though it was at an earlier level. I know some radiant quests can interfere with starting the quest to get the Falkreath house. Do I need to do Vex's and Delvin's radiant quests before talking to Maven? 0 0 Skyrim.esm 1 1 Update.esm 2 2 Dawnguard.esm 3 3 HearthFires.esm 4 4 Dragonborn.esm 5 5 Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch.esp 6 6 Falskaar.esm 7 7 Wyrmstooth.esp 8 8 WM Flora Fixes.esp 9 9 notice board.esp 10 a mannyBlackRock.esm 11 b SomeguySeries.esm 12 c HighResTexturePack01.esp 13 d HighResTexturePack02.esp 14 e HighResTexturePack03.esp 15 f Unofficial High Resolution Patch.esp 16 10 Predator Vision.esp 17 11 When Vampires Attack.esp 18 12 Wyrmstooth_FRF.esp 19 13 WMFF_Wyrmstooth.esp 20 14 LegacyoftheDragonborn.esp 21 15 Better distant LOD waterfalls V1.esp 22 16 FloraRespawnFix.esp 23 17 LostGrimoire.esp 24 18 Immersive Citizens - AI Overhaul.esp 25 19 Wyrmstooth - Craftable Sets.esp 26 1a Wyrmstooth - Realistic Ownership.esp 27 1b Wyrmstooth - Notice Board - New Armor Sets - RO Comp.esp 28 1c Wyrmstooth - Notice Board - New Armor Sets.esp 29 1d Wyrmstooth - Notice Board - RO Comp.esp 30 1e Wyrmstooth - Notice Board.esp 31 1f Wyrmstooth - Typo Fix.esp 32 20 SkyUI.esp 33 21 Falskaar Wildlife.esp 34 22 Falskaar - Notice Board.esp 35 23 DeadlyDragons.esp 36 24 Guard Dialogue Overhaul.esp 37 25 Weapons & Armor Fixes_Remade.esp 38 26 Clothing & Clutter Fixes.esp 39 27 QaxeQuestorium.esp 40 28 Skyrim Immersive Creatures.esp 41 29 Wyrmstooth Spell Integration.esp 42 2a LocalizedGuildJobs.esp 43 2b BetterDarkBrotherhood.esp 44 2c Forgotten Dungeons.esp 45 2d Distant DetailHF.esp 46 2e Skyrim Immersive Creatures - DLC2.esp 47 2f Hidden Hideouts of Skyrim - Merged - Deep Immersion.esp 48 30 Hebrock_Der Schatten von Meresis - EV.esp 49 31 Thieves Guild Requirements.esp 50 32 Run For Your Lives.esp 51 33 WAF_CCF_SIC Patch.esp 52 34 Nightingale Hall.esp 53 35 quest_thebiggertheyare.esp 54 36 Shadowmarks for Player Homes.esp 55 37 Forgotten DungeonsDLC.esp 56 38 quest_nomercy.esp 57 39 Mysterious Cave.esp 58 3a Hidden Hideouts of Skyrim City Edition - Merged - Deep Immersion.esp 59 3b quest_seaofghosts.esp 60 3c Wyrmstooth - Landmarks.esp 61 3d Wyrmstooth - Quest Tweaks.esp 62 3e WPHG.esp 63 3f BloodOfTheNord.esp 64 40 Broken Sky Cottage.esp 65 41 CrimsonQuest3.esp 66 42 sk_threekingdoms.esp 67 43 Falskaar_QaxeQuestorium - Patch.esp 68 44 ForgottenCity.esp 69 45 quest_sorcery.esp 70 46 quest_andtherealmsofdaedra.esp 71 47 TimingIsEverything.esp 72 48 Wyrmstooth - Radiant Encounter Tweaks.esp 73 49 HHoS Subterranean Hot Spring.esp 74 4a HHoS Subterranean Hot Spring NMM.esp 75 4b HHoS Subterranean Hot Spring DI.esp 76 4c mu.esp 77 4d Mysticism.esp 78 4e The Paarthurnax Dilemma.esp 79 4f Immersive Music Temples.esp 80 50 ImperialMail.esp 81 51 Immersive Music.esp 82 52 PP_OgmundsTomb.esp 83 53 notice board - dragonborn patch.esp 84 54 Apocalypse - The Spell Package.esp 85 55 skyforgedShields.esp 86 56 JaxonzMCMKicker.esp 87 57 2k_dds_elementals.esp 88 58 Better Embers.esp 89 59 Dense Vegetation.esp 90 5a Purewaters.esp 91 5b pureweather_brighter nights.esp 92 5c restoration_spell resurrect.esp 93 5d tree and lod forest.esp 94 5e tree and lod snow.esp 95 5f mannyBlackRock.esp 96 60 HHoS Ancient Shrine.esp 97 61 HHoS Ancient Shrine DI.esp 98 62 Traps Make Noise.esp 99 63 ThievesGuildReq_LocalizedGuildJobs_Patch.esp 100 64 Better Stealth AI for Followers.esp 101 65 no_guard_warning_after_shouts.esp 102 66 Symphonies Of Skyrim.esp 103 67 AdditionalMusicProject.esp 104 68 Dawn_addon_part3.esp 105 69 tree and lod swamp.esp 106 6a danjdrmusic.esp 107 6b DG-JDR Patch.esp 108 6c NirShor-MusicalLore.esp 109 6d Fantasy Soundtrack Project - Combat.esp 110 6e Dawn_addon_part1.esp 111 6f Dawn_addon_part2.esp 112 70 Improved combat music.esp 113 71 MagiCollege.esp 114 72 Ish's Souls to Perks.esp 115 73 Falskaar Quest-Fix.esp 116 74 Purewaters-Falskaar.esp 117 75 PP_EngelmannRest.esp 118 76 Chesko_Step418_SN.esp 119 77 HearthFire Display Case Fix.esp 120 78 Civil War Cleanup.esp 121 79 DeadlyDragonsSpells.esp 122 7a Wyrmstooth - Dragon Lore - Deadly Dragons.esp 123 7b Wyrmstooth - Follower Tweaks.esp 124 7c Weapons & Armor_TrueWeaponsLvlLists.esp 125 7d DBM_WAFR Patch.esp 126 7e ASIS-Dependency.esp 127 7f ASIS.esp
  4. So I've been working on the Thieves Guild quests recently in my current game. Due to a mod I've got to complete several of Delvin's and Vex's side missions to get the next main TG quest. I was directing all of the missions toward Solitude, because I had a couple other quests to knock out in and around there. I also decided to speak with Kesh and start knocking out his quest as well. Kesh directs me to get a few items, one of which is a flawless ruby. I decide to collect these items before heading back to the TG. One of the quests I decided to knock out was on Wyrmstooth. While there I decided to mine out all the unique ore spots I come across. Eventually I ended up in Dimfrost and it was there that I mined up a flawless ruby. At that point I decide to finish up mining there, and then return to Skyrim. I end up getting overburdened from looting Falmer, and use a spell to relocate my inventory. This is when i first noticed the problem. The quest log showed that I had the ruby, some vampire dust, and a deathbell. It recognized when I moved the last two items out of my inventory. There was no inventory listing for a flawless ruby. I return to Lakeview Manor and drop off what I collected up, and pick up the remaining items I needed to get. As I unload everything that I could, flawless ruby still wouldn't show up in my inventory. I used the console to add 100, to see if maybe the game glitched out on the one I picked up earlier. Still nothing. I did note however that my carry weight had increased. I fast travel to Kesh, and talk to him. He recognized I had all the items and took them, yet the rubies still don't appear in my inventory. I can make jewelry with them, but it appears I can't sell them to any merchant either (I only tried two of them). I'm wondering if there's anyone here that either knows what's going on or has dealt with a similar issue. My load order is: Now that I think about it, a couple months ago I was trying out the Civil War Overhaul mod and at one point I noticed that I had extra carry weight. I'm wondering if I had this problem back then too...
  5. So if this gets implemented does that mean Alduin, Harkon, and/or Miriak wins?
  6. I picked up a mod that allows you to tell your followers to wait until the enemy attacks before attacking. There are two problems though. One is that I think they have to be sneaking as the mod you linked does. The second problem is that I use followers so infrequently that I'm not sure which mod I have changes this behavior. I think it was Immersive Citizens (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/65013/?) but I see nothing in the description that says it alters follower behavior so I could be wrong.
  7. It is a new game. Started over when I removed CWO. Though 9, 44 - 52 and 119 were recent additions. Originally I had added the folder they were contained in instead of each one individually, but they never showed up in my load order when I ran either NMM or LOOT so I didn't realize they weren't loading until recently. And the script cleaner I got didn't detect any orphan scripts. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing at the moment...
  8. No ENB. NMM & LOOT. Win 10. Also note during a previous play through that light wasn't there. The only things different are that I dropped Civil War Overhaul and added in a few of the Wyrmstooth patches.
  9. Had to go to Raven Rock for a Dawnguard quest today. Decided to do the ash spawn quest since it was along the way, As I got closer to the fort I noticed this light coming from it. Once I got there, I couldn't see anything that would have projected it. Any clue as to what it might be? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/images/641890/? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/images/641891/? Unrelated question: Any reason why I can't post a picture in the thread instead of the link?
  10. Find one of the textures for pure snow banks and stick one of them over it.
  11. Actually a quick Google search of overhaul4e.esp turned up this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50995/?
  12. My immediate guess is that's the mod's ID name and not the displayed name. I got a few that either shorten their name like that or use an acronym instead of the full name. Best bet is to open LOOT or NMM and go through your list of mods looking for that name.
  13. Place the item on the ground, open the console, click on the item. The first two digits of the number that pops up will be the mod in that position in your load order. For example, Wyrmstooth is the 7th mod that loads in my list. Anything that's unique to that mod will display 07 as the first two digits. You can also type "help" and the name of the item in question when you open up the console. This doesn't always work right though. If you don't know the item's ID, then typing in "Meridia's Harrowing" might not get anything back because that might not be the item's ID. Typing in just "Meridia" will get everything in the game that has that name in its ID. For example, if I wanted to add a Poison Rune spell book to my inventory and typed in "help spell book" I'll either get a list of all the spell books in the game (and I won't see the entire list because the console doesn't go back for me), or I won't get anything because I have a space between "spell" and "book" and the IDs don't use spaces. The person who added that spell to the game could have also called it "bobsspellofwastingdeath" in the ID as a joke, or because they didn't know what they'd call it at that point and never went back to fix.
  14. Oh, and to answer your other question, no, I never went past the door. I had used "tfc" and looked behind it and did see Thalmor back there, but since it was locked I decided to wait until I was sent there to do something about it. I had to start a new game since then and in this one I haven't worked my way over there yet.
  15. Yeah, I'm thinking that's the one. After quickly scrolling through your list the only other one I see we both have is the Parthanexx Dilemma, and I'm pretty sure that doesn't add any dungeons. I'm now wondering if the cave relates to either Smuggler's Haven or Icicle Valley in some way, or if it belongs to a completely different quest.
  16. That seems needlessly complicated when I have the Throw Voice shout and the Frenzy and/or Mayhem spells.
  17. I'm working on the CoW quests currently, and Enthir tasked me to get a staff that the game placed on Wyrmstooth. Is it possible to go there without meeting with the guy in Whiterun first, or do I have to start Barrow of the Wyrm first?
  18. Back in 2006 I had a Morrowind mod that had a guy in it pay you for filling out your map. I don't recall the exact details, but he lived in either Balmora, Seyda Neen, or Vivec. He was trying to map Morrowind and he said he'd pay you each time you saw him and let him copy your map. The amount he'd pay you was based off of how much you explored since the last time you two spoke. So if you just stick to the roads, you'll stop earning gold rather quickly. If you stick mostly to the roads, but take shortcuts once in a while you'd earn more. If you're the type that says "I haven't tried going that way yet..." then you'd earn the most between visits. I was wondering if there's a similar mod for Skyrim available.
  19. You can always find another horse to ride (not steal) and hop on it for a few seconds.
  20. You can reactivate them either through NMM or through the Data Files option when you start Skyrim.
  21. Because they can't out run the sabertooth tigers.
  22. Yeah, I was considering removing the mod because of this issue. Thanks for sharing it. Now to ask about something else that was bugging me. Do you know how to revert the player's faction to normal after the CW quests are complete? Or change the other side's hostility level back down afterwards? I've noticed the other side remains hostile toward me after winning the war and this has caused some issues with a couple quests, both from vanilla Skyrim and from a couple other mods.
  23. What's this mod's name? I tried looking for it under Summerset Isles but nothing came up.
