I'm pretty much new to modding Fallout 3. I've looked for a tutorial or something on how to make a custom companion with GECK but haven't been able to find what I'm looking for at all. closest I've come is how to make NPCs like raiders attack. What I want to do is facegen a mesh (I think thats the right term) then GECK up a companion named Derek Reese and set him up for combat and dialogue and all, but as I said I've found nothing of the sort to tell me how I do any of it. How do I use GECK to select the mesh I want for example or really how to create a real NPC at all fo rthat matter. I mean I've found some pretty good stuff regarding building locations but it seems to me a palce and a person is much more different. I know you vets have probably heard this a million times in the years and I am very sorry. Appreciate a hand or even a pointing to a way onwards at least.
