  1. Neck seams were the main reason I switched to WSCO. Well that and I wanted and all in one simple male and female mod to cut down on the number of mods I used. I also never used any UNP or body mod specific armor mods. I have a lot of mods as it is so I generally like to try and keep the mods I use as simple to maintain as possible. I dont want to have to install 4 or 5 mods just to get females to look right. Id rather use 4 or mods to have male, female, argonian and khajit look decent.
  2. When I used the UNP mod I listed I used no other female body or texture mods and had no neck seam with the combo I chose during the installation. This was the reason I used this mod because every other female body / texture mod I used gave me one.
  3. I'll give you my suggestions based off of my experience and what worked for me. I am sure others will have theirs and what worked for them. For female only body and texture I used Alt Navetsea UNP Seamless as a good all in one female body and texture replacement with no need for any seam patches or anything else. But I have made the switch to WSCO for a simple all in one simple male and female body and texture mod. For Khajit and Argonian I use Cover Khajits and for Argonians I use FAR. These mods for me personally were the easiest to get install with minimal hassle and good looks. For your environemnt mods I would suggest either Pure Weather or Climates sof tamriel, both are excellent. For textures I will suggest Skyrim HD. For me these mods provide the easiest to install experience and provide good looks. Others may have other options for you.
  4. ERSO is my preferred overhaul mod used along side SPERG and Deadly Combat. I use all the modules from it except for the world deleveling one and a couple of other minor ones. I have tried SkyRe and Requiem and while both are very good and I cannot say anything bad about either I found I spent more time trying to get compatability patches to work with any other mods I have such as Immersive Armor and Weapons. ERSO and SPERG just flatout work. My only complaint about ERSO is that there are so many modules that it adds about 30ish mods to your load order.
  5. Another option to try is SweetFX if ENB is too much of a hit. Ultimate Lighting Overhaul is one i like but there are other presets out there.
  6. Yeah finding that magic ENB that you like and works with predator / night vision and at the same time doesn't murder your frame rate is a real pain in the ass. I've gone through 30+ to try and find that happy medium and I finally just gave up and settled on using RCRN, ELFX and just using a bare bones ENB .254 setup just for the shadows, parallax and ENBoost. This has given me the most balanced look and frame rates for my tastes. It also works with predator / night vision which I need with the darkness levels of this setup.
  7. Try using Enhanced ENB Night Eye to add nighteye to an ENB that doesn't have it built in or give Phinix ENB a try.
  8. Yes it is possible, the best way is to use Mod Organizer instead of NMM.
  9. Yes you can as long as you use a recent enough enb binary. You need 0.217 binary according to the enboost page here on the nexus and Project ENB uses the 0.221 binaries.
  10. That would be Imaginator http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/13049//? There is also an ddon to use with Imaginator that lets you control all the settings via MCMenu if you prefer http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/35581//?
  11. I use Sperg since it changes only the perk trees and nothing else. Both Skyrim Redone and the suggested Requiem change a lot of things.
  12. Sounds like you were hitting the memory limit and crashing due to all the textures. As for your SkyUI question I think there is an issue with map markers and the new SkyUI. I use Not Another Colored Map Icon Mod and I get the same error message. I don't think it's something wrong with SkyUI but rather something the other mods need to update.
  13. @Shadeybladey: Thanks for clearing that up for me. As I said in my previous post I am by no means an expert in all of this so any chance to learn something new is always great :)
  14. http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1015916-ultimate-skyrim-nexus-mod-management-guide/ Here is a post from a little while back which is a guide and has a list of mods that are out dated and not recommended for one reason or another. Right away at a quick glance I see 2 mods that stick out as being on the not recommended list and those are Claralux and Warzones. These 2 mods may or may not be a contributing factor in your problems and I am in no way saying these mods are bad myself. I am merely pointing you to this guide which I found quite useful in selecting my mods and I have a very stable game running with about 150 esps. I am by no means an expert but the way I have come to understand it is that any mod that is heavily scripted is bound to cause issues at some point. Anyways I hope this guide helps you out, like I said I have about 150 mods installed and my game runs solid and I have even done the dreaded no no of installing and uninstalling many mods trying them out and never really lost a save game due to corruption. I did have to revert once to an older save losing maybe an hour or so of gameplay though.
  15. Yeah what LargeStyle said. Load SPO should be the first in your load order then CoT and then ELFX and LoS. You may want to refer to each mods installation instructions for more details. ULO isn't a standard mod so it won't be anywhere in your load order like a regular mod. ULO is simply a dll and config files like an ENB. Like I said previously ULO is a SweetFX which functions like an ENB, they both function in the same way but ENB has more advanced options. Imaginator is a decent mod and I have used it but I have since dumped it. There really is no reason to use it along with ULO if the ULO preset you choose has the colour settings that you like.
  16. I use CoT with ELFX, Pure Water, Skyrim Project Optimization and Lanterns of Skyrim without any issues with compatibility. I have used Realistic Lighting Overhaul in the past and it works fine as long as you read the installation notes if you are using it with CoT. Ultimate Lighting Overhaul is a misleading name, it's not a lighting mod at all but simply a SweetFX and works quite well with CoT and ELFX. I have used ULO in the past and I can recommend it without issue but I have since moved on to an ENB. I have used Relighting Skyrim in the past but I can't remember much about it in terms of compatibility. I have never tried WATER at all so no comment on it. I can recommend CoT, ELFX, LoS, SPO and ULO wholeheartedly, great combination in terms of looks and performance.
  17. Good to hear and glad to be of some help. The nice bonus of the ULO Plus is since it's using ENB you can play with some settings and adjust it further to your liking if you so choose.
  18. There is also Ultimate Lighting Overhaul Plus which is made by the same person as the mod I linked previously and is the same thing just with a little extra eye candy using ENB which is of course a bit more of a frame rate hit than the basic ULO. You can then further tweak the ENB side of it to personalize it a bit more if you like. I don't have any screenshots but I can give you a basic rundown of my graphic setup. Using Skyrim Configurator I turn off the games AA and Anisotropic Filtering Game at 1680 x 1050 resolution High quality shadows @ 2048 res High quality textures and various texture packs @1024 resolution, I don't use the official high res ones. Static Mesh Improvement Mod Climates of Tamriel Enhanced Lights and FX With the system specs I posted above and Phinix ENB I get 60+ frames per second in dungeons and out in the world. In cities also using Inconsequential NPCs (which do hit the frame rates a little) I am in the 40ish range, when I was using just ULO in cities I was at 50+ in the cities. The biggest hits to framerates are gonna come from using ENB, high quality shadows, high res textures and SMIM (not necessarily in that order). After that it comes down to what kind of texture mods you are using (if any) and what sort of look you prefer (grim realism, saturated fantasy or just an enhanced vanilla. Personally I found the best balance of looks and performance came from the 1k texture packs, medium shadow settings, SMIM, CoT, ELFX and ULO. The texture mods with lighting really add a lot more to the game than an ENB alone. Edit: Just wanted to add I think my video card may be better than yours and I do run a lower resolution @1680x1050, your speccy info says you run @1920x1080. Im inclined to believe that if you want to run an ENB you may be stripping out so much of the eye candy that just a straight up SweetFX like the ULO I linked before is the best way for you to go. Give the ULO+ a try though, it may perform well for you. I also don't know what your tolerance for lost frame rates is. I personally never want to run under 50 in combat so I tend to favour more on the side of performance over looks.
  19. Try clicking the wrench and screwdriver icon at the top of the NMM window and then click reset ui. I was just messing with my NMM and somehow made my mods tab disappear and doing this brought it back.
  20. Hmm that's unfortunate it was such a hit on your framerates. Have you thought about maybe avoiding an ENB all together and just going with a straight SweetFX setup instead ? I used to use the Ultimate Lighting Overhaul sweetfx before switching over to Phinix ENB because of how performance friendly it is and still looks great. Like I said in my previous post I used to avoid ENBs because they murdered my framerates using high resolution textures and lighting mods.
  21. I run an AMD Phenom II X6 1050T @ 3.3 GHz, 8 Gigs of ram and Radeon HD 7850 1 Gig video card and been using Phinix ENB with good performance lately. I used to avoid ENBs and only use SweetFX before trying this ENB out.
  22. I second what Artmurder said. I also use the Ultimate Lighting Overhaul SweetFX he linked. It runs and looks great. If you really want a basic ENB the maker of ULO has an ENB based version of ULO which adds some extras without much of a performance hit.
  23. I'd say try out ERSO overhaul with SPERG and Duel. If you don't like them remove them hassle free. I use that combo as a steath bow user and works pretty good for my personal taste. Makes the game a little harder without being rediculous. If I come across a group of 4+ npcs I have to use some strategy and patience to take them out or else they all get on me and whoop my ass. Just my 2 cents
  24. Well like I said, I didn't try all ENBs around. There may be some out there that would run just fine with my system. Also as I said they didn't perform the way I wanted since I want as close to steady 60+ fps as possible. Now what I did settle on in my first link I posted does actually use an ENB setup but is tuned for performance. With it I get atleast a solid 60+ fps in dungeons and out in the world but in town like Solitude and Whiterun I drop to around 45ish and that's about as low as I want to go. I also run the game with high rez texture packs (1k - 2k resolution) with most graphics settings turned up very high. This setup gives me a look I am very pleased with. The first link I posted is actually an evolution of the second link I posted which was just a straight SweetFX setup, the author just added in an ENB because people were asking for it but he kept it performance oriented.
  25. There was a time when I was really into pc hardware and I knew just about all the stuff and how it performed but I have gotten out of the loop over the last few years so im a little out of touch on the specific performance differences, far too many small variations in hardware for me to keep up with. Just so im not derailing this thread for the OP my second link I think I can safely recommend for performance considering that while my video card is that much better than yours I found I couldn't find an ENB that ran acceptably for me. Now having said that I can't say I tried every single ENB out there so there may indeed be one that may run well for you. The ULO SweetFX I linked second had zero performance loss so it's definitely worth a look.
