  1. Actually, you should leave the official DLCs alone. Rennn is correct, even with a nice Intel Core i7 system. Eric31415 is also correct. I am fairly sure that Bank of Cyrodiil actually introduced new bugs, and it is a 'cleaned' mod. At least one other 'cleaned' mod introduced the infamous Mystic Emporium w/Frostcrag Spire bug into my game, which was not there before. I am very wary of 'cleaned' mods now.
  2. Actually, you don't need to move anything out of Program Files or Program Files (x86). You do need to know how to manage permissions, which is very easy and simple. I do this and have no problems at all.
  3. I have an older generation HX850 PSU in my system and I like it. I was looking at the specs of the mobo you selected, and you would need to go with 4 x 8 GB for the 32 GB.
  4. OpenGL is cross platform (OS) and has been in use for years. Its primary use is for VFX applications and only for preview. Actual rendering is done by the CPU, and normally in a render farm.
  5. You can add the equivalent of AR using enchantments like Reflect Damage, Shield, Block. You will need to use the Construction Set. In the Mod file, create an EnApp(EnchantmentName) and add the enchantments of your choice, along with the magnitude of them. Save the enchantment and go to the clothing, and then select your enchantment, save, save the mod and exit the construction set. Be sure to place the mod exactly where it was in your load order.
  6. Although I am anti-DRM, I find nothing wrong with Steam.
  7. My PCs are set up for both graphics abd performance since my hobbu is 3D CG aka VFX. Oblivion is the most stable game I have seen to this poiny and I love playing and modding it.
  8. I have Skyrim, but I srill play and mod Oblivion. My modding is on hold until my first cataract surgery is done. I find Oblivion to ne a very stable gamem and a jpy tp play. I use Oblivion XP mod. Bethesda's games are console ported to the PC,
  9. Well,Since I lost Medicaid, and whthe Physical Therapist told me, I have decided to not have a prosthetic leg. It takes 80 percent more strength just to walk with an above the knee prosthetic. This is due to have to exclusively use the hip and trunk muscles. It would take too long to get to the point of walking and would likely be a waste of taxpayer money. they are very expensive. Besides, it is only a matter of time before I become a bilateral amputee.
  10. My Medicaid was cut off as of ovember. So I am preparing a letter to fax to the trust to get the medical bills paid and cover my stay at the nursing home. Another medical problem may interfere withthe prosthesis and caataract surgeries: pressure sorex that developed while I was in the hospital this las time.It looks like my medical problems are starting to pile up on me.
  11. Well, my right leg was amputated above the knee. This was due to a massive infection and lack of blood flow. I will be having a cast made this monday for a prosthetic lag, then a few week later, I will be getting my training leg. I figure that I will likely be in the nursing home for about one year. I have to cataract evaluation again, tomorrow, the those surgeries. Provided that other medical problems don't get in the waya.
  12. Yes, Oblivion runs fine on Windows 7, even the 64 bit version of Win 7. I use Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit on my desktop and Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit on my high end laptop (notebook).
  13. The last movie I watched was 'Space Battleship Yamato', which I ran acroos on YouTube. Language is Japanese with English subtitles in my case. Live action with animation (CG).

My cataract surgery has been scheduled. At least I will be able to see clearly again.

Some good news: No amputation for the left leg. for the right leg, it will be below the knee and be fitted for a prosthesis. Amputation is not indicated at this time. However, the leg is on a wait and see status.
