  1. Actually disregard my question and apologies for the double post. It appears I misunderstood your intent. I'm currently testing out the two already compiled scripts provided in the Nexus mods link along with Enhanced Lights and FX's. ELFX is a good mod to use when trying to show the problems with the 4 light limit, especially with the exteriors plugin. Riften in the daytime during a clear day is one of the best places to see it in action. While current testing is brief atm the scripts do appear to be functioning as I appear to not be having any flickering issues with the shadows cast by the buildings to your left as you enter Riften's main gate like one normally would when using ELFX.
  2. Can't help you I'm afraid. Number 3 states you can't use any asset of that mod without the original author(Toki7)'s permission. I refuse to convert Number 1 as I cannot find the mod on Oldrim's nexus site nor do I trust downloading it from anywhere other than Nexus(and even though there appears to be nothing stating what I can and cannot do with the mods files I will not attempt converting it in case I find myself up shitcreek without a paddle). I refuse to also convert number 2 due to lack of info about what I can and cannot do plus the fact the mod hasn't been touched since 2013 and the author is outwith possible contact to even ask them in the first place.
  3. Seriously? It was a simple as that? I didn't think to use that since I could never really get that to work nor knew if it'd work for SSE. Thanks Jeir. You probably can't use TexBlend itself; it's extremely out of date and needs a total overhaul. But, the blend files it has can still be used in photoshop/gimp/whatever, as they're just .png files. Would you be able to explain as simply as possible how to do so? I did try using texblend...worked kind of. Neck is seamless but I have the endless void for a face...as does every other female NPC.
  4. I am aware of that but as I stated it refuses to open the MSN map, Normal map, and Specular map.

  6. Now I'm not sure this is for the requests so I'm going to post this here and there. Also I'll be using Gimp2.9 dev branches as I'm too poor for photoshop. Getting pointed to a working .dds plugin for the program would be great. The face texture's Model Space Normal maps, Normal maps, and Specular Maps refuse to open but the texture itself is fine. A quick TL:DR for lazy folks(Still look at the pics though): Help me modify the Pretty Face v2 texture files so the colour matches the body with no seam. I don't want to use the ugly looking face textures from the CBBE facepack. CBBE:SE released, yay, and included with it is a face pack that is an edited version of tktk's Pretty Face v1. Good thing about it, there's no seam and colour matches rest of the body. The bad thing...it just looks subtly ugly to me. I use v2 of tktk's Pretty Face(the one meant for CBBE) with the headmesh having been run through the NIF optimiser that's available. It's much nicer looking. The only problem is that it has an obvious seam at the neck and the skin colour won't match the body. I already asked Ousnius about this and he was able to tell me what to do but not the how to. Face comparisons(ECE was used to make my Breton look as she does. Also huge ass pics. As in picture size. Get your minds out of the gutter): The tintmasks aren't a problem thankfully. I can just overwrite the CBBE ones with the Pretty Face v2 ones but what is a problem are the seamline and colour mismatch using Pretty Face v2. I did manage to narrow this down to the Model Space Normal maps(femalehead_msn.dds files in the female, bretonfemale, imperialfemale, and redguardfemale folders), and what I think is the Normal map and Specular map(femalehead.dds and femalehead_s.dds in female). I haven't seen any difference with either face textures(femalehead_sk.dds) from the CBBE facepack or Pretty Face v2 so using either one of those is fine. Helping me modify the Pretty Face CBBE v2 textures to match the colour of the body with no seam like the CBBE facepack textures would be great.
  7. So few days ago I posted a topic looking for advice in trying to fix an annoying problem with converting TESFAN123's Aries & Tombstone weapon mod and thought I had solved the problem: https://goo.gl/BfwUfx (link to original topic) Again the problem is the blood textures. I've attempted all I could and know how to in efforts to fix this issue but to no avail. If possible I'd really like the help of someone who knows how to possibly fix the problem to get rid of this tiny annoyance of a problem once and for all. I'd like to note that I WILL NOT release the converted mod unless I obtain permission from the owner of the mod. It is only for my personal use. 8. I've tried that. Strange thing is that it worked for a good while but the problem has shown it's ugly head again. well that is odd. Has the mesh somehow reset the changes you made to it? I have everything working now. Did some digging around and the blood textures apply without issue.

  10. Hey so recently when the SSE Creation Kit came out I have been trying to convert some mods I've been using from the original game however I've encountered a small yet annoying visual glitch with the weapon mod Aries & Tombstone by TESFAN123: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/24641/? The problem can be seen with the image supplied. In third person the blood decals seem to glitch out a little. Does anyone know how I can fix this? I'd also like to note that I will NOT be uploading the converted mod as the SSE conversion done by me is for my own personal use. EDIT: Forgot to mention that other than this slight annoyance the mod works 100% with no other issues. http://i.imgur.com/452e50U.jpg
