Background: The Murphy Wildlands is a (fictional) coastal area north of Boston, stuck between the sea and a mountain range. It was a military exclusion zone before the war. When the nuclear war started, its only road access, a tunnel, caved in after an attack by chinese commandos. Therefore it was forgotten and remained largely untouched by the post-war population.
