  1. I may have missed it in reading but is this a save file character? there might be something associated with the save not the base game files, so reinstall might not help, If this is the case id reinstall the mods you removed, see if those change it then see if there is a better way to uninstall that mod

I have 2 very minor issues but wondering if you all could help narrow em down, first at this pic http://i.imgur.com/6jSEVYi.jpg the lines shown, they seem to be what I call "Light seams" not sure if there is a way to get rid of em also distant textures, like down the road on the way to riverwood, there is a blur on the stones etc, is this because of the type of AA I am using? I am not using the game AA I am using the CCC AMD AA 4x Standard Multisample. In game everything is on ultra (distance texture quality etc) Thanks!
  3. It seems in the comments of the PC animations mod area, that another user had the exact same error. It seems alot of people are having misc issues with this mod, as it has not been updated in a while. i will have to either see if they update, see if a new modder comes in and makes a better one, or just not use custom PC only animations. Ah well.

Yes, when during the first round of testing, not this round as I am using a clean install atm neither changed anything yes and checked manually as well, this is only 1/4 my mods as these are the ones that are new enough o have caused this (as stated above removing the animation mods seems to have stopped the crashing latest as of today latest as of today
  5. Removing the animation mods, PC exclusive animation and FNIS (Fores New idles in skryim) made it not crash in the normal area. These were used in the past with no issue, Im not sure why they are acting up now. If these are only causing issues durring the new game sequence that sucks but I can deal with it, I think I am going to reisntall these, and see what happens with a mod I have not used in a while, alternate start. See if starting somewhere else has the same issues, also going to test if it happens after I leave helgen THEN install the mods.
  6. I started a new game after a fresh install. I did very light ini changes after setting up the graphic options, installed SKSE, uncapper, and simple borderless window. Ran a new game for a bit no CTD Installed mods, now I only did mods i have updated or added this month to help narrow it down, however one of these is making the game crash right around when the game says Elder scrolls V before SKYRIM appears while riding in the cart.   7. I have been having all sorts of skyrim issues lately. I had a CTD when I made a new character after a fresh install (including mods) right when the screen was about to say "Skyrim" while on the cart. No idea what was going on and was going to come here and ask for help. HOWEVER, I was testing to see if it was SKSE or Simpleborderless window and went and started TESV.exe, the launcher poped up, said it recallabrated video settings, so i tweeked em back and hit play, before I got to the menu it CTD. Now it CTD no mater what i use to start game. This has happened before. Anyone know whats up? I am in the middle of restoring a backup. if anyone knew what was causing the new game crash that would be helpful, i was working on getting papyrus logs and such first before the whole game gave up on life.

I am having similar issues and it seems to have been mostly after dragonborn, I will leave a cave or dungeon and get (sometimes) endless load screen im running windowed (boarder less) as I always have and the task manager only kills the game fully. Sucks I have tried a lot of things so far cant seem to find the key, but it hasnt always happened.
  9. I cant find anything on how to rotate items while being held in the world, there has to be something, Its nice to have this mode for bookshelf items but

I am in the North of Skyrim nearing the Rueful Axe area for Barbas and near a downed tower is a door that when I go to open it says " something about this door conveys a strong power but sadness..." or somthing along those lines. I Have no idea what it is has to be a mod as I do not see anything online about it. Anyone know?
  12. Didnt bump, I would love some assistance or at least a reason, doesn't seem to be a major wide spread issue but the only things that changed are widespread, dragonborn dlc and Catalyst update.
  13. Turned off game AA and it went away. I think i remember something like this at launch but why is this an issue again?

Been a long time since ive played, back for Dragonborn dlc, since then having changed much, a few driver updates though, noticed that white areas and fog have strange line artifcacts now shown in this pic, notice fog has the black lines. http://imgur.com/TrpxnYr anyone know what this is and or how to fix?   15. Ive over 250 hours on this game, and recently I started seeing transparent clothing well more like semi invis with only a few pixels. I FRESH installed and tested and now it worse? I have 100 vanilla skyrim with SKSE and SBW. (simple boarderless window) both ive used since the start.   16. Some enemy NPCs stand there and do nothing well talk and look angry but dont move or engage in combat. Anyone know whats up? just in case here are the mods I use Project Neveda WMX OHUD MCM some Skin/hair mods
  17. I love durnehviir so far, but im only lvl 27 on adapt atm and hes a bit of a wus for being a might long cool down dragon. I saw a mod that boosted odiving power, think anyone can boost durnehviir?
  18. I have no insight into Bethesda, but it seems that with resources focused on the MMO project, and with Skyrim appearing to favor console systems, it is probably up to the modders/programmers. Just my opinion. Well, maybe if we all make enough of a fuss? It appeared like they were going to show more support for mods and modders this time around, but besides a crappy steam workshop that hardly any good mods can use and no moderation, they seem to have given up on that. I just hope they take time to improve at least the simple things now that Dawnguard is finished. By the way, I thought the MMO was being done by a different company and Bethesda didn't have anything to do with it? They better not be taking resources away to work on that MMO.. :confused: the way they are not even giving the PC (and ps3) a release date or status on Dawnguard, I really doubt they care about PC anymore, they are killing their majority supporters.
  19. I noticed big time when I started a new character, the Hay and moss on the buildings and ground pending on how I turned my camera were popping in and out. This never happened before, This was right after i re installed Skyrim to work on other possible bugs, I have sense did some tweaks and such and some mods but they fact they it was happening in 100% vanilla says it something out of the ordinary. Anyone know what this is? Mostly noticing it on Hay it seems Nevermind I had a ATI video card profile left over that got messed up, it was set to adaptive AA instead of Multi sample AA. Adaptive AA cause glitches ;p
  20. ok this may not be a mod issue, I did a 100% reinstall of Skryim, removing all traces of everything not vanilla and got to the dungeon i was testing with a follower, still for the most part doing the same thing. If anyone knows a way to fix this id still appreciate it. But seems like im just talking to myself
  21. Clean save 0 mods after trying it it just the Follower mod didn't prove eventful. 1 follower worked a BIT better but I cant tell if its fully functional, I know they follower AI/pathing wasn't the greatest vanilla but standing there in a hall way watching enemies is ticking me off lol.
  22. Ok well I tested a partial Clean save so far, with all the mods I added since I started noticing this issue. That did not help ;/ I went into Swindlers Den and watched as 3 enemies stood at the end of a halway while my followers stood at the other in attack mode yelling but not moving or attacking. They are fine outside or when we are in a single room. Is this a navmesh style issue? pathing? how did it break. I am using Extended Follower Framework with 3 followers which ive used a long time in the past with out issue, but does the number of NPCS that move over a nav area effect if they can or not? For example if 6 NPCS are trying to go down a narrow hallway? I have seen this happen in a slighly bigger room though with only 5 total so Im not sure if that has any validity. If anyone has anything let me know, might do more testing till then. Ok it also seems to be an issue mostly in combat, I tested it with only 2 followers and went inside Swindlers Den, there were 2 bandits I went TGM mode and hit one, they never left the hall way to help. I did the E button command on one, and pointed at the mob attacking me, thier response was Not Possible, i tried to get them to wait inside durring the fight also not possible. Why is it not possible? after I killed them they walked out of the hall just fine ;/.
  23. Ok so I was wondering if a recent mod I installed did this or if its even possible or if I just never noticed this issue. My follower(s) were having issues where enemies were like around the corner, but they wouldn't go fight then, instead they looked like they were trying to go thru the wall, seems almost like the NPC were doing the same thing. Outside they seem to find they way around fine. Don't recall their pathing or AI being that bad before. Most my mods I added since I think it started are items (shouldn't effect it) but also a few animation mods. Can changing running and Idle animations effect this?
  24. I have noticed that over the last 2 months or so, there isn't many "HOT Files" on the homepage that are new anymore. I've been thinking, a few are coming in that are good but is the Modding of Skyrim dead? Most mods are great but is the power behind the tools weaker then Oblivion? Seems there hasn't been many "Epic Mods" and most mods are retexutres, graphics settings and such. I could just be off sine I wasn't present for the Oblivion mod days but does my thoughts have any basis?
