  1. Manually removed and re-added the archive invalidation text, to no effect; making sure to save the ini and launch the game in between. Reinstalled the game and nothing changed. Getting ready to just nuke the entire site from orbit. No idea what's stuck.
  2. I couldn't find a way within Vortex to enable archive invalidation, but my Fallout4.ini does have the required lines in Archive: bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 SResourceArchiveMemoryCacheList=
  3. No matter what mod combination I have for bodies and textures, the body is always bright pink, which implies to me that the connection between what Vortex has installed, what Bodyslide is making, and what the game is actually reading is broken, but I have no idea how to repair that. I finally got fed up and completely removed not only Bodyslide itself, but every body and skin mods I had, even the ones that were disabled. The body is still pink, the face has the brownface bug. This is the case for all female NPCs, as well as the player. Any ideas on what to do? I've been at this for hours and nothing has any effect. Reference image: https://imgur.com/a/ix2fNuH
  4. Getting the same error, but changing the mods to default did nothing. :/ I just need to get ESF Companions to load after Immserive Citizens, but no matter what I do, it pulls a cyclic error out of its butt and won't resolve.
  5. Well, that was the weird thing, because it would reach the main menu. If I skipped the intro video as soon as it would let me, it would usually get to about the 6th note in the intro song and then just crash, which is behavior I've never quite encountered before.
  6. Nope. I've been wary of those since the Mechanist icon started causing issues. Welp, the nuclear option seems to have worked; so now it's just a matter of rebuilding. Apropos, I suppose.
  7. Renamed it and got a few errors in Vortex. Not sure what they meant, so I reinstalled F4SE manually. Crash still occurred, so I'm completely reinstalling Fallout 4. Made backups of a few things like the save folder, but moved it so everything will be reconstructed from scratch. Redownloading now.
  8. You don't mention if you were starting a new game on these new profiles, or carrying an old save across. If it is an old save, I would suggest you try a save game cleaner, as well as verify the plugin order is exactly the same as the profile that works. Both. The other concern is that it crashes after a few seconds at the main menu, before I even load a game. Crashing before loading a save is NORMALLY a missing master. Use F4Edit to test load your plugins. It will list any problems with them. Also check your Vortex plugin tab. Make sure everything you expect to be enabled is. Would it be that if it does have time to reach the main menu? Typically when I've had that issue it won't get that far. I'll see what I can get done with F4Edit. Thing is, it happens even with a brand new profile that has no mods activated. I'm going to attempt a full reinstall soon. I wonder if some left-over F4Se plugin might be trying to fire, even if its mod isn't loaded. LOOT will tell me that my version of Place Everywhere is not compatible with my version of Fallout 4 (according to the PE page, an issue with Loot not detecting it properly, not the mod or the game version,) but I get this issue even when said mod is not activated. Could there be F4SE plugins trying to fire-off when they're not supposed to? So, it will still crash even on a new profile with no mods active in Vortex, and loading through the vanilla launcher button in Vortex instead of the F4SE launcher button, and even through the default, non-F4SE shortcut. I'm beginning to think something's gone terribly wrong, somewhere.

  10. I only have one Vortex profile that works for Fallout 4, all new or cloned profiles will crash about 10 - 15 seconds after launching, even with no mods active. This only happens with Fallout 4 - new profiles for Skyrim and Skyrim SE work just fine, - so I suspect it's something to do with my install, but if anyone has any ideas where to look or what direction to head in, I would love some assistance. Thank you! Even using the same mods, with the same rules, and load order, the issue persists. Fallout 4 is up to date, as is Vortex and LOOT.
  11. I'm having the same problem. Profiles are NOT saving their own disable / enable settings as they used to, so any time I switch characters I have to go through and manually enable / disable a crap-ton of mods manually, making the profile system completely useless. If they're working on a new version, or something, it'd be nice to at least get a response, even if it's just, "tough s#*!, it's broken, deal with it." It'd be nice to know if it's an issue with NMM, or if something went wrong with the update. It said something about needing to fully reinstall every mod or something to transfer it over to whatever new system the latest version uses, but I didn't really understand it, and I don't think it worked correctly when it tried to do it automatically.
  12. Been having trouble with it, as well. If I have mods 12345 active in profile A, and 123 active in profile B, then switch back to A, saving in between each move, profile A now has 123 active, instead of 12345. If I activate 4 and 5, save, and switch back to profile B, I have 12345 active, instead of only 123. It basically makes profiles useless. Did I do something wrong in setup? Is there something I need to do after the recent upgrade? I tried downgrading to the previous version, but just broke everything in so doing. I'd really like to not have to through and manually enable / disable every time I want to switch profiles...
  13. FWIW, I've been getting this issue, as well. Nothing I've tried seems to fix or help it at all. :/
  14. I've been seeing it a lot. A LOT. But! After the 1.5 patch, it stopped! They correctly flew over terrain and geometry, avoiding buildings and overpasses like I remember them doing before. Then, they broke again, just recently. I'm not sure why. I'm running a very heavily modded game, but I've seen it in Gopher's LP, as well, and he uses very few mods for that. Recent events: Built a settlement at Egret Tours Marina (unlikely, but maybe unlocking a settlement does it?) Had the 0 beds bug again at the Castle and Bunker Hill. Maybe when this happens, more things break? But I think I had this occur when my birds still worked, so, doubtful. I was in combat when the bird landed, killed a Bloatfly right next to it before getting in. Maybe the bird thinks it's in combat and as such is ignoring pathing? Else, maybe leaving from certain locations breaks the pathing, so it no longer tries to go for whatever mid-air pathnodes it's supposed to use to evade terrain and just goes through everything? I'm curious if removing and reinstalling the patch will fix them again... When they first broke, I thought I was just giving Beth the benefit of the doubts and only imagined remembering the birds flying around and over buildings, but they definitely started doing it again after the 1.5 patch. Until recently...
  15. I love using difficulty mods, but I notice a lot of them allow enemies to indefinitely spam knockdowns, essentially turning their attacks into one-hit kills. Sitting there spamming potions and waiting to be allowed to stand up gets rather annoying, so are there any mods that prevent the player from being knocked down for 15 seconds or so after taking a knockdown (or paralyze for that matter -- got paralyze-locked by an archer with the bullseye perk at one point) so I have a chance to get up and try to escape? ATM I'm using TGM just to let myself stand up, but it's not an ideal solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you! Should note that this applies to the full-body stun, as well, though that particular stun appears much less frequently.
