  1. Just prior to AE, I had installed SE. I installed many mods from Nexus...and withing Skyrim. Everything seems to be working well for now. In anticipation of the warned issues concerning any mod which used any scripting...I avoided them. When SKSE gets working...then we'll see. Until...I have dozens of mods running and will be going back for more to see if I can push it a bit more...smiles.
  2. I am waiting for CBBE also. From what I have read elsewhere, CBBE for SE is "in progress"...and I believe they were predicting it taking another week or two to complete.
  3. I was having problems till I made sure I was running the SKSE_LOADER.exe with the RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR box checked under the programs PROPERTIES-ADVANCED.
  4. Hey Steve... Yep...missed the suggestion. Must have been one of those early morning forum reading sessions here. Damn... But thanks for reading my messages for me tho...smiles.
  5. I had been having problems with my SKSE not loading...for some time now and made posts here to ask for help. Non of the solutions offered did it for me. I have had to avoid any of my mods which used SKSE. So...was looking at the properties of the SKSE Loader shortcut and decided to put a check in the "Run as Administrator" checkbox...thought it can't hurt. Well...it Worked. FYI
  6. The "renaming" was in the instructions for this mod: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/12923 I did this as well...but have now un-installed this mod...and re-installed SKSE as per the instructions (I also am using Skyrim version 1.8.151.0 (In game it says 1.18.151.0.7) and SKSE 1.06.04, which has the 1.8.151.0 DLL). After un-installing the above mod and then a SKSE re-install...SKSE will not load for me. Checking in-game tells me it is not present (getskseversion at the command prompt). Am missing SKSE, cuz so many great mods rely on it! Any other ideas?
  7. One tiny detail from SKSE readme when starting the game: "4. Launch the game via running skse_loader.exe. Steam must be running before launching Skyrim" This got me the first times when running since I missed that detail. Also I noticed the beta SKSE is up with version 1.06.05 now, they might fixed your issue already? Do you have a link to the beta SKSE download?
  8. The latest version of SKSE is (I have installed) 1.06.04.7z. I have the latest version of Steam Skyrim…it tells me 1.8.151.7. When I start SKSE with the SKSE_loader.exe, the game runs and plays w/o problems. Just that my SKSE is not loading. Still waiting on Silverlock to email me back with the results of their analysis of my SKSE associated log files. STILL p-a-t-i-e-n-t-l-y waiting.
  9. I have a follower who is lost. She is not with me...and does not spawn with me when I enter a new location. She is not at her home either. How can I summon her...or dismiss her? Is there a console command for that?
  10. I am current with SkyUI...version 2.2
  11. I have same version as above...the latest of Skyrim and SKSE. SKSE will not load. I tried the rename option in the ini file...same problem. Skyrim is working well...just no SKSE mods can be loaded.
  12. I have installed the SKSE 1.06.04.7z version as instructed. I have the latest version of Steam Skyrim…it tells me 1.8.151.0.7. When I start SKSE with the SKSE_loader.exe, everything appears to load...Skyrim starts. If I check my inventory (skyui), I am told SKSE can not be found. Ideas?
  13. I don't know how you feel about the Steam Mod manager, but I think it SUCKS! The Nexus manager is so much easier... Gives you more information... Does not slow down the game loading... Gives you the decision of whether to update a mod or not... Makes trouble-shooting mod problems/conflicts much easier... Makes safely adding and removing mods a snap... Must i go on? I have pulled all of my mod subscriptions from Steam. It was a nice idea...but they have a LONG way to go before it is even close to the user-friendlyness of the Nexus Mod Manager. Thank you Nexus! Jerry
  14. Hey...I wanted to pass on some info which I am sure EVERY careful modder knows...right? You SHOULD... 1. Only add one mod at a time. 2. Play the game for a bit before adding another. Cuz...if the modder accidently messed up something in their mod...or maybe their mod was not compatable with some other mod you already have installed...you will have trouble pin-pointing the possible reason for your crash. Your system might have crashed due to a poorly done and poorly tested mod. I can testify...I got caught. It took me forever to find the possible causes of my crashes. I had installed several mods at one sitting, which eventually crashed my game. The mods conflicting were three player-created player homes. All I know is...my system is back to screaming performance again (maxed-out graphics), sans crashes, after removing those four mods. Anyway...lesson is... Only install one mod at a time and test it before you put your game state in the hands of some noob modder...smiles. Jerry
  15. Is it possible to change the image format and the resolution of the images saved when you do a screenshot? The BMP files are such poor quality. I would like my screenshots to be JPGs and ion the same resolutiuon as my screen. Possible?
