I've received more donations than ever since I had made the statement that my Nexus mods would remain free. I just wanted to post here that indeed this debacle has brought supporting mod authors to more people's attention. And, thanks to those that did donate for my work. -

I don't think your CTDs are due to IA. It really doesn't cause them as a general rule. -

Did you add a "smooth" modifier when you exported to make sure the program didn't alter verts when you skinned/exported? -

I like to use the burn and dodge tools on the alpha channel to better regulate the reflectivness of specific areas if some parts are the armor are metalic and some cloth for example :yes: -
I have spent quite a number of hours putting together some armor and learning from a number of tutorials and other's similar questions that had good answers. I hate to ask for other's time, but I know there are key elements that I am still missing here, and if I knew how to do them once I could do them fine from then on out. With that said, my .nif (http://www.mediafire.com/?ailtz4efl1dwn8f) won't load on the CK. Again, I think I am a few steps from that being possible, but I have looked and looked, and read everything I could find. I could use a heads up from some helpful people in this community! Thanks so much! One thing I see as a potential problem is that I have NiNodes who have NiTriStrips as children. I can't seem to find this precedent in any other mods I've used as reference points, but I don't know how to change that without my rigging falling apart from removing NiNodes.
