You have to download OOO1.3, OOO1.32 FINAL (not listed in the FCOM install guide, but without this you'll get a lot of missing mesh errors!), OOO1.33 (only if you want to use Harvest Flora, otherwise, just don't download it) and OOO1.34b5. That's it.

Just a quick information for those guys who are still having problems with missing meshes (since I can'T contact the one who wrote the official FCOM install guide). You guys ALSO HAVE TO download this file ... http://www.fileplanet.com/hosteddl.aspx?/planetelderscrolls/fms/files/oblivionmods/3953/OOO_132f_Upgrade_Setup.exe ... to get the last missing meshes and textures for some quests, items and more (the FCOM guide didn't say anything about download 1.3.2 as well).

In case you guys are still looking for the solution for the problem with the note meshes. The problem (indeed) is a missing mesh file (which DOES NOT exist in any of the three files which you have to download [OOO1.3, OOO1.33, OOO1.34b5) in the OOO plugin. I just checked it in the CS. Go to: C:\steam\steamapps\common\oblivion\Data\meshes\clutter\Books\OOO -> duplicte the imperialsheet.nif and rename it imperialsheetpickup.nif That's it.

Every container is a missing mesh :<
Matrimelee replied to luceid's topic in Oblivion's Mod troubleshooting
Thanks for the Harvest Containers tipp! It started to work for me after installing the plugin (btw, should I only use the .esp or also the .esm file?). And I find it quite strange that we have to download OOO1.33 as well since this mod (patch) DOESN'T add any new meshes or textures (only HARVEST "FLORA" bsa file which doesn't affect the chest, barrel and other containers, imo). I just downloaded the patch to 1.33 for OOO and made a test install, the only new files were a .esp and a .esm (and the .bsa for flora)! -
A minecraft section would be pretty nifty. Bring it on! :D

I'm also playing Minecraft with two of my friends on a private server. And I have to say, it's awesome! Although notch still needs to fix a lot of bugs!

Hi there, just wanted to ask you guys if FCOM, and all the other big and little mods, will work with the Steam version of the GOTY Deluxe version of Oblivion or not. I am planning to make my second comeback by buying the game on STEAM (since I lost my original DVD). But since Oblivion is a really "vulnerable" game in case of crashes, memory leaks and whatever (while using too many mods) I'm really questioning myself if it's even worth to buy the game (since Steam will also run now while playing Oblivion). My Specs are Q6600 @ 4x2.9Ghz Geforce 9800GTX+512MB 4 GB DDR2 RAM (@ 970MHZ) W7 64bit N-E So, anything to share? Would really appreciate it. -Matrimelee

Hi there, was playing Oblivion in combination with FCOM for a long time and thought about starting to play Fallout 3. Was checking out the Nexus and found a lot of interesting overhauls, but it seems like that some them don't really work together with other ones (even with FOIP), so I have no idea atm what overhaul I should use. FOOK 2 1.1 sounds really interesting (the ammount of new weapons is awesome) but it seems like that the newest version isn'T compatible with MMM RC5 (and XFO) which I definitely want to use. So, is there some kind of FCOM also available for Fallout 3 (?) and if no, what overhaul combination should I use to have the same ammount of fun which I had with Oblivion (a load order of your stable Fallout 3 would be fine)? Thanks for reading!

Hi there guys, a lot of time passed since the last I played Oblivion and I finally came to the conclusion to start with Oblivion again. At the moment I'm searching for a stable Oblivion Overhaul. Can someone recommend me an Oblivion overhaul which still gets updated or did all current overhauls get abandoned (heard that the creator of OOO isnt working anymore and that Francesco's PI hasn't been updated for a long time)? I appreciate any help. Thanks!

Fallout 3 lags like poo ....
Matrimelee replied to Matrimelee's topic in Fallout 3's Mod Troubleshooting
Isn't there something like Streamline for Fallout 3, too? This little plugin was VERY helpful in Oblivion. http://s3.directupload.net/images/090808/n6obv7cj.png http://s7.directupload.net/images/090808/d2rk9zks.png http://s7.directupload.net/images/090808/j2xjlgs7.png http://s12b.directupload.net/images/090808/buwygbmm.png http://s12.directupload.net/images/090808/p9z78l43.png http://s12b.directupload.net/images/090808/caxm3v35.png -
*ignore the "lags like poo...", forgot to edit the thread title and since I'm not able to edit it now, oh well ...* I definitely know the problem of Bethesda's games and their not really well optimized engine, but Fallout 3 is really horrible, although I have a good rig, imo. System: Q6600 @ 2.8Ghz Geforce 9800 GTX+ 512MB 4 GB DDR2 @ 800 MHZ 500GB HD Windows Vista 64bit Home Directx10 Fallout 3 v.1.7 The game lags a lot when I take a walk in the Wastelands. For example, every time when I turn myself right or left (looking in another direction) while walking in the Wastelands, the game hangs for 0.5 secs (loading area?). I think that it could be a memory problem but I already changed the values in the Fallout3.ini (like ipreloadsizelimit, or buseharddrivecache) and nothing really changed. So, are there any other things which maybe could help preventing big lags and ctd's? I know that I have a big plugin list, but even Oblivion didn't lag that much, although I was using moch mure plugins http://s8.directupload.net/images/090808/vewc5zg3.png

Fallout 3 CTD on (Quick)Save
Matrimelee replied to Matrimelee's topic in Fallout 3's Mod Troubleshooting
Ok, will see if this will help. Hope that ever plugin will still work with the newest F3 version. :/ -
The crash doesn't happen that often (maybe every 20-30 mins), but is still very annoying. An interesting thing is that I can load my save files although the game crashed while saving. So, is there a solution for this problem? I'm using Fallout 3 Version 1.5 Windows Vista 64bit Home Premium And those plugins: http://s7.directupload.net/images/090806/g99q24os.png

Well, I searched on F3 Nexus but wasn't able to find a skip tut plugin (like we had in Oblivion). Would it be possible to create something like that?

Hi there, pretty new to the game and downloaded those 3 big overhauls which I listed in the topic title (already installed "All", "FOMM" and the other important stuff). But for now I have no idea how the loading order with FOMM should look like. I made something like this but don't know if this will work. http://s5.directupload.net/images/090804/temp/5gi226au.png Would really appreciate it if you could help me with this one:

Oblivion War Cry or Francescos Mod?
Matrimelee replied to Matrimelee's topic in Oblivion's Classic Discussion
Thanks for the info, at the moment I'm using Francesco's Mod combined with the RAFIM 6.0 mod, and its awesome! Think I'll keep these two large plugins, coz Ive heard that OOO and OW are also great plugins, but aren't that balanced like Francesco's Mod. -
Hi there, Ive heard a lot about these two plugins and now want to install one of them, but I don't know which one to choose! So, could somebody please help me and inform me about "what do you would choose" or "the pros and contras" of OW and FM? Thank YOU very much!
