You shouldn't be running Vortex as an administrator. If you have to do that to run SKSE, maybe you have SKSE set to run as admin too Try making sure Skyrim and SKSE aren't set to Run as Admin Thanks you were correct. I forgot I was troubleshooting an issue a few months back and had it run as administrator, I must have just left it that way. Vortex appears to be working fine for me now.

I found that running Vortex as Administrator the SKSE Loader works properly. I verified by running it without admin after and the issue returned. Opened it again as Administrator it worked fine. Also drag and drop functionality for mods does not work with "run as administrator" but works fine without.

I double checked mine and it was fine. It appears the update didn't change the "Start in" and it is correctly configured.

Same issue here. Launching SKSE through Vortex, game says my plugins are missing. Launching through SKSE Launcher, everything works fine. Oddly enough there are no menu sounds either when launching through Vortex. I've tried purging mods, redeploying. Deleting shortcut to SKSE Launcher in Vortex and remaking it. In my case it is on Skyrim LE not SE.
