Hello everyone. So I hope someone can help me. I've seen on youtube of people claiming that they have over one-thousand mods in their load order. I have been wondering if the secret to this is merging your entire current load order into one single merged plugin? Is this actually possible? I currently have nearly 600 mods installed on vortex with over 300 of them light plugins and I am full at 254 plugins currently. Problem with me merging plugins is that most of those non-light mods have patches to make it all work together. So can merging your entire load order actually work and start from scratch again?
-
So I just got zedit and started using zmerge. I was wondering what specific plugins can be merged together and which ones can't? Also is it ok to merge mods that are at different spots throughout your load order or do you have to merge mods that are loading right next to each other?
-
Never mind. Just discovered that the author has created a new application called zmerge which is the updated merge plugins program.
-
I have used the conversion for vortex already and have no more room. I'm trying to see if it's possible to setup merge plugins so that it works with vortex. When checking the integrations tab it only has options to set it up for nexus mod manager or mod organizer. I'll switch to mo if I have too but just wanted to check with anyone that may know of a better option.

Hello. I was wondering if anyone can help me with bypassing the 254 mod limit. So I have finally hit my limit it seems. I currently have 556 mods(302 lights and 254 esps') installed and I have maxed out my mods with the esl conversion as best I could. But I still need "moar mods"!! Is there a way to make the merge plugins program work with vortex? It will only allow me to create paths for NMM and MO. If not is there any other way anyone can recommend to bypass the limit? I'd really appreciate any suggestions thanks!!

Hello everyone. I was wondering if anyone knew if there was any kind of update on if zedit will be supporting esl plugins and when will that come out?
-
Yeah I have converted inconsequential npcs, headtracking and voice set, and beggar's arena using a guide and they work perfectly fine far as I can tell. Just gotta optimize the meshes/textures, unpack the bsa and optimize it, and save the esp on creation kit so it has form 44 right (can't remember if its 43 or 44 lol)?I have no intention of posting them on any public site however; I was just looking for any great suggestions that are worth the effort to convert for my own use (or for anyone to use in this case).

I was wondering what great mods from legendary skyrim anyone would recommend to convert to special edition? Not looking for anything in particular but just looking to get some of the best mods from regular skyrim ported over to my game.

Hello everyone I hope you guys are having an awesome day. So I was wanting to ask everyone here for some advice on gaming careers. I have been playing video games pretty much since I was 6 years old from the super nintendo all the way to our current generation of games. I have been dwelling on the thought of other career paths such as cybersecurity, designing better computer parts and perhaps business but I think I really want to give game development a try as I've been playing games for most of my life and because, to me, it feels great to get away from our reality for a time and explore different worlds, building up your character, and watching the imaginative world change and morph around you depending on what your character has done. Since I have been a Nexus member for years now, I figured who better to ask than the nexus community on where to get started? I have asked several people before and some have suggested that it might be better for me to get started on an associate's or even a bachelor's degree in computer science as that field has a lot more career paths then if I were to go for a straight gaming class as that class is not guaranteed to get you a career you can survive on and should only be taken if you are truly passionate about gaming. I really would like to get a great deal more involved with the beyond skyrim project as I greatly admire the work they are doing, maybe start practicing 3d art and animations, and perhaps even making the next 'open-world fantasy rpg' like skyrim is but more next gen and dark fantasy-ish. To get started in gaming development where would everyone suggest one to get started?

So I have been lingering on the idea of getting into modding for a long time now and I have been really wanting to craft a really great stealth overhaul. It would be close to splinter cell's stealth in terms of how enemies would react to you trespassing on their turf. I was just wondering if any expert modders out there would perhaps give me an idea of how difficult it would be to make something like this (or if it's impossible but we seem to be making the impossible with mods these days.)Here's what I would put in: - It would be largely the same for it's shadows: using the shadows as cover but with different variations: standing in dark shadows would grant high stealth coverage say around 70% stealth, dim shadows would grant small-moderate coverage around 35%, and light obviously would reveal the infiltrator. - As you get spotted, there would be multiple levels of alert systems. The npc's will slowly begin to walk around and look for you at level 1. Level 2 means they walk slightly faster with torches or lanterns. Level 3 means they fully know there is an intruder and draw their weapons and begin checking all dark shadows while running throughout the dungeon in groups. Less intelligent creatures, such as animals or undead, would not have this system. - In addition to the above, this will also work with corpses; when the npc's discover the dead bodies of their comrades they will run to alert the others. So therefore, there would be an animation to pick up dead bodies and drag them to a hiding spot of your choosing (I personally hate the telekinetic picking up of objects that vanilla skyrim has). - You have the ability to turn off light sources such as clasping your hand on top of a torch to burn a flame. Some enemies will also walk around slowly with torches which makes sense when in dark dungeons. - There would be the addition of worrying about line of sight. If you run around a corner, the npc will run to your last known position and begin looking around for you. Also, fighting enemies in darkness would make them strike at the shadows blindly as they try to find you. Hitting them will let them know where you are for a second before losing sight again or if they hear your footsteps. Those are just some of my ideas but I was thinking of doing a much better overhauling of stealth when outdoors as well since getting spotted out there is pretty easy compared to hiding in the dark in an unlit cave.

Yes to deadly mutilation. No to toy army.

I was wondering if anyone was willing to port Keldorn's voice into pathfinder kingmaker? I have been looking for a really good 'paladin' voice set but the closest thing I can find is the male arrogant mod.
-
If you manually download bodyslide from regular skyrim and import the unp files from that then you can customize your unp bodies however you want. I never cared for cbbe. Cbbe, to me, makes all the characters look kind of like plastic dolls but it does have a great deal more options for customizing your women in skyrim. UNP I really like simply because the skin feels a lot more real to me. I quickly noticed the difference when I uploaded the unp into my game and it was awesome especially because I was using the real girls unp textures! I highly recommend doing how I did it. That, combined with tempered skins for males will make all of your npcs look more realistic imo.

It's because I want skyrim to stay, well, skyrim. I want the content I put in my game to feel like the content that Bethesda could've put in themselves. I don't care for other people's reasoning that tamriel could be in the star wars universe which is why it would be lore-friendly to have lightsabers. The universe is called Aurbis, not the outer rim or star wars galaxy. It's just a lame excuse to put star wars crap into skyrim and why I don't care for mods that don't adhere to high-fantasy medieval europe which is technically what skyrim is. Are there dark elves, high elves, or wood elves in star wars? Nope and have no place there. If I want star wars in my game I'll play a star wars game. Are there guns in skyrim? You could argue that well we don't truly know what the dwemer have created. They could've designed guns for all we know somewhere. Well, if they did design guns why are they not built into their automatons hmm? Where are the books indicating a dwemer scholar fighting dwemer automatons with guns? You would think that after all the centuries passing since nerevar someone would've found some kind of evidence. No, the centurions have crossbows don't they? Not gunpowder operated weaponry which very well indicates the dwemer probably don't have 17th century weapons. If I want that I'll go play that assassin's creed pirate game or greedfall. That's why I keep my game lore-friendly: because I'm playing skyrim and not some other game. But to each their own. It's not for me to judge what they put in their game. It's simply our choice in the end and the argument is technically pointless. I can have a reasonable discussion with another individual who puts lore-unfriendly stuff into their game but I won't care to try it myself. If that person chooses to wrongly criticize me for sticking to what I 'know' is lore-friendly well, they can go back to their lore-unfriendly crap game.

Hello everyone. So I am having some difficulty. I just downloaded sse fixes and sse engine fixes and I am trying to check the dll files on these mods to see if they are working. The problem is, every time I do, I get this damn message on my notepad that's been driving me insane to get rid of: º ´ Í!¸LÍ!This program cannot be run in DOS mode. $ «'Ö²ïF¸áïF¸áïF¸á[ÚIáëF¸á[ÚKá˜F¸á[ÚJááF¸áÔ»àçF¸áÔ¼àýF¸áÔ½àñF¸á2¹sáìF¸áïF¹áŠF¸áE±àîF¸áEGáîF¸áEºàîF¸áRichïF¸á PE d† +ÃŒ\ ð " v ü ä~ € Ð ` 4< ( ° à p , À ` ð p ø ( ` ”  ˜ .text ju v `.rdata $µ  ¶ z @ @.data Ì P 0 @ À.pdata , p < @ @.gfids à  V @ @.tls X @ À.rsrc à ° Z @ @.reloc ` À \ @ B Hƒì8HÇD$ þÿÿÿ3ÀH‰*\ H‰+\ H‰,\ H‰-\ H‰.\ H‰/\ H‰0\ H‰1\ WÀóî[ HÂï[ èJ HÇß[ HÇÜ[ E3À3Òè²L H‰Ã[ HÂL$@èÑI HÂÂ[ èÅI HDz[ WÀf¯[ ó' ó[ º H These weird symbols are spread out all over the notepad and I have no idea what they mean. I've spent a couple of hours trying to fix this problem. I've looked up websites and youtube videos on possible fixes but no solution as of yet. I'm quite positive it's not the mods as I tried opening other dll files on my computer with the same results. Here is what I've tried so far: - I did the obvious solution first: I checked my system configuration utility to see if I was somehow loading in safe mod with my knowledge. It was showing as a normal boot up. - I tried copying and pasting the .dll files onto my sys32 and sys64 folders within windows file. One of the .dll files was not copied in there previously and I hoped that would fix it but it still showed the same message. I then registered them with the cmd command prompt regsvr32 with the file name but it gave me an error msg saying: .dll file was loaded but the entry-point dll register server could not be found. - Next I popped open the cmd with administrator and I tried the /scannow and apparently I have some kind of corrupted files in my computer but the cmd can't repair it. - So, after that, I popped in my windows 10 cd repair and tried startup repair. After literally one second it said it couldn't repair my OS. Anyone else had this problem before? If so, how did you fix it? I would really appreciate any suggestions as trying to fix it so far gave me a huge headache lol.

Hello everyone. So I'm considering getting a castle as kind of a late game item that I have to build up too for my character to buy. Thing is, the castle mods themselves are normally free which I really feel like it shouldn't be. You shouldn't just automatically be given a free castle the moment you start the game so I'm wondering: how exactly can you go about adding a price tag to a particular castle mod? Considering everything some of the greatest castle mods do I'm thinking 500,000 for it. Something for my assassin to 'murder' his way up towards before retiring from his dragonborn career.

Sorry. Didn't mean to double post. -
Hello everyone. I was wanting to ask for some advice from anyone on a sale I'm considering. I have a close friend of mine who is selling me a computer for 400 dollars. I've been looking to upgrade and was wondering if this computer was good enough to handle 'very realistic' skyrim textures? Specs: - Cooler master Hyper 212 Evo cpu cooler - Gigabyte GA 990FXA UD3 R5 ATX AM3 Motherboard - EVGA Supernova G2 850 W 80+ Gold certified fully modular atx power supply - Currently has 8 gigs of ram tho I may have ram in my old computer to bring it up to 16gb. - Has 2 GPU's: nvidia 970 ftw and 970 sc. Compared to mine which is -16 gb ram -nvidia gtx 660 What do you guys think? Will this run very realistic skyrim graphics?

Any chance anyone could bring this amazing subclass to pathfinder? It functions just like tactical leader for inquisitor except, well, with a paladin. It's my favorite class to play on account of it being a really useful tank and very high support role. https://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/paladin/archetypes/paizo-paladin-archetypes/holy-tactician/

Can we have a megathread for mods adding FO76 features into FO4?
Akulakha replied to LX6R's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
Can we not talk about adding features from a crappy, poorly made game...? -
Nevermind. If you use f4se then just download the new update. It's at 6.15 now.
