  1. Heh, my bad!! I found the problem was due to an incorrect installation of The Deadly Dragons Mod, NOT the Tytanis MOD. I still have the problem with the Third Age Glass sword though. I can accept that because I don't think that I'll ever build one. NOW I can build a suit of armor which is composed of dragon dropped materials and are Light Class. My level 49 Dark Elf + Dark Elf companion should fair a bit better with this class of armor, especially when an event toggles and there are MANY dragons to battle.
  2. I am encountering the following problems using the Tytanis mod: 1. All pieces of the armor sets from Deadly Dragonslayer through Wrathful Dragonslayer (except for the Wrathful Dragonslayer Mask) are missing icons in the smithing crafting menu. 2.Terra Nova has an icon which appears as a triangle and is colored green. 3.The Third Era Glass Sword icon appears with only the hilt.:wallbash: I don't have any screenshots to accompany these errors as the F12 hotkey nested into the Steam menu does not work. I have tried turning off all of the mods that I am using one at a time and the errors do not go away. I have attempted to post this bug report at the Tytanis website and the bug report section is locked. Does anyone have any suggestions, please?
  3. http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/wallbash.gifI had similar problems and I discovered that the TESV mod was the one which was causing the problem. I suggest that you leave all of the other mods running, disable the TEsv mod, and the load the game. Ignore any screens during loading. Hopefully your game will run fine, as mine did.http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/thumbsup.gif
  4. You need dragon scales & dragon bones which are dropped by dragons that you kill to craft any of the armor pieces.
  5. I would be so gratified to be able to play Skyrim without using Steam/Valve. I am posting a link to an article that I read which is about the new patch that has been released. Here it is: http://www.tomshardw...team,14068.html I have experienced problems with being able to play the game in 'Offline Mode'. The solution involved three tasks. First I configured the TESV.exe file so that it opens under Administrator mode. Next I connected to the internet and started the game in 'Online Mode'. Then I disconnected from the internet after shutting down the game. The game starts in 'Offline Mode' now, with no problems. My game is NOT patched to the newest version and after reading the article in the link posted herein, I will not patch it. I am concerned that if I do, then I won't be able to play in 'Offline Mode', at all. I was very irate when I installed the game from the DVD and discovered that I had to create a Steam Account in order to accomplish the install! I don't believe that any PC games should be required to access some third party's website in order to play them. It seems as though the PC gaming industry is assuming that everyone who buys a game title has internet access which I believe is very unreasonable. I wonder what happened to the companies which developed the encryption codes that were used to secure past PC game titles?
  6. Thanks for the info. I got the game to run offline after I accomplished what you stated. http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/thumbsup.gif
  7. I am having the same problem. The dialog menus that come up when I try to load Skyrim do not give me an option to remember my password. If I try to load the game using the NMM or by going to the directory where the Skyrim files are located and use the TESV.exe or Skyrim.exe, I have the same result. Steam reports that I am not connected to the net when I select 'offline' option & it states that I need to troubleshoot my connection problem. I am running the 1.3 version of Skyrim and due to a Windows Update(I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium x64 SP1) which I allowed on Feb. 1, 2012, I had a problem with launching Skyrim afterwards! (Another GrEaT MS fix!?) Nothing would happened after the update and I checked to see if any processes respective to the game were running, and there wasn't any. In order to solve the problem, I uninstalled Steam via Control Panel. I cleaned the Registry then reinstalled Steam/Skyrim. My problem with attempting to run the game afterwards is when my problem started. I am running the game as administrator and I have blocked it inside the Windows Firewall. The game starts fine IF I AM CONNECTED TO THE NET. I HAVE NOT UPDATED THE GAME TO THE NEWEST VERSION, YET. I am very saddened by this dilemma as it seems that one more "FREEDOM" has been trampled on by forcing person(s) who are gaming to ONLY BE ABLE TO DO JUST THAT IF THEY ARE CONNECTED TO THE WEB. I got screwed and wasn't paid.
  8. Blaah. I am beginning to dislike patches.
  9. :verymad: I am not able to load STEAM in off-line mode. When I select that option another menu appears telling me that I have to be on-line. I never had this happen before. I have played the game for 4 months prior with no problems, off-line. The game is updated to v1.3. Anyone have suggestions, please? :wallbash:
