  2. showler's post in Hogwarts Legacy wont open anymore was marked as the answer
Just run the repair tool from whatever service you bought the game from.
  3. showler's post in Discovering Games was marked as the answer
Nexus hosts many more types of mods than Vortex supports. You can find a list of games Vortex supports here: https://www.nexusmods.com/about/vortex/
  4. showler's post in Hogwarts Legacy Extension Update broke my deploy function was marked as the answer
Extensions are supported by their authors primarily, unless it is one built by the Vortex team itself.

Support for that extension should be done here: https://www.nexusmods.com/site/mods/520?tab=posts

Click the "supported games" button to see which games are supported by Vortex.

There are thousands of games hosted on Nexus, but only a couple of hundred are supported by Vortex.
  7. showler's post in Some mods will appear in plug in tab but some wont was marked as the answer
Graphics mods and some UI mods won't have plugins at all.

To get them working you should only need to make sure that loose files overwrites are enabled. Usually Vortex will warn you if they are not.

CBBE presets are for Bodyslide, so you'd need to have that working correctly and make sure that Bodyslide's output is properly set up to work in the game.
  8. showler's post in Can´t find or mod Atomic Heart was marked as the answer
If the game isn't listed in the supported games list, then someone would need to create an extension for Vortex to make it work.
  9. showler's post in Question about Vortex collections was marked as the answer
You need to upload it, but you don't need to publish it to the public.

And you can copy your downloads folder from one PC to the other to save time when reinstalling it.
  10. showler's post in Changing Adult Content Filter was marked as the answer
Site Preferences then the "content blocking" tab.
  11. showler's post in How to change storage directory? was marked as the answer
You can change the "downloads" directory and the "staging folder" directory in the settings.

The folder where Vortex stores its own settings can't be changed, but takes up little space.
  12. showler's post in scan is missing was marked as the answer
Whatever game you plan to mod today, type the name in the search bar at the top of the games listing, then select "manage".

Next time you want to start modding a game, do the same with that game.

There's really no reason why you should have all of them done at once.
  13. showler's post in File format changes when downloading mods for stardew valley was marked as the answer
    Download 7zip.

Once installed make sure you go into the options and set the file associations.
  14. showler's post in Vortex stopped allowing me access my adult collection for Skyrim VR was marked as the answer
Vortex does not get involved until you click the "Add to Vortex" button.

If your problem is happening before that, then you should not be asking about it in a Vortex support forum because the problem is either with your browser or an issue with your account on Nexusmods.com. Since you can see it when you're logged out, it seems like it might be a problem with your account. Either that or Firefox's "forget this site" option does not actually clear all the relevant cookies.

You should probably try manually removing all the cookies that include the word "nexus" to ensure that you are starting clean.

But, more importantly, you should move this conversation to the "Feedback, suggestions and questions" forum since it appears that Vortex is not even involved in your problem and therefore nothing about your problem can be fixed in Vortex.
  15. showler's post in Vortex and CP2077 changes was marked as the answer
You'll want to take your comments to that mod page, then.

It's the authors of the extension that probably need to work on this, not the authors of Vortex.

  17. showler's post in How do I change the mod deploy order in Vortex? was marked as the answer
You don't. But if mods have conflicting files you can choose which file is used. Which is the only purpose of controlling deployment order anyway.
  18. showler's post in Having trouble with installing mods for Blade And Sorcery was marked as the answer
Use the suggested staging folder and don't forget to deploy your mods.
  19. showler's post in How to install mods directly into vortex with mod manager button was marked as the answer
What internet browser do you use?
  20. showler's post in 1 Mod in the in-game mod list, 1 different mod in Vortex? was marked as the answer
The in-game mod manager and Vortex use different methods of controlling mod enabling and aren't really compatible. It's best not to use both at the same time.

Pickysaurus created an extension for Vortex so that it can import and control mods from the in-game mod manager to get around this issue, but the better option would probably be to remove the Unofficial Patch from the in-game manager and download the version on the Nexus instead. That way Vortex will have full access and control over both mods.
  21. showler's post in How do I reset the game files to original was marked as the answer
Is there a "purge mods" option?
  22. showler's post in Vortex not loading RedMod mods when launched. was marked as the answer
Doesn't look like RedMod mods are fully supported by the extension yet.

You might be able to get some help here: https://www.nexusmods.com/site/mods/196?tab=posts
  23. showler's post in STOP updating my game option? was marked as the answer
    Vortex doesn't update Skyrim.

If you don't have Steam already running when you start SKSE, then Steam will update Skyrim regardless of what settings you've chosen. That's usually the reason for unwanted updates.

But Vortex is not in any way responsible and cannot prevent it from happening.
  24. showler's post in Skyrim not appearing in recently managed games was marked as the answer
    Are you currently managing Skyrim?

The "recently managed games" section shows the games you've recently managed other than your current one.

As for the script extender, you need to do that in the "tools" applet. It's probably at the bottom as a result of the way the recent update worked.
  25. showler's post in SKSE 64 and SKY UI SE can`t work together in vortex was marked as the answer
    That's not a Vortex problem.

SkyUI uses SKSE64. Skyrim VR uses SKSE-VR. They are not compatible.

There seems to be a VR build of SkyUI here: https://github.com/Odie/skyui-vr/releases
