Hello everyone, there is this amazing mod called the World of Rudia that I am trying to play. I am down in a desert dungeon and get to the end room with a bunch of bad guys and final defeat them all. I get a message that says read the book. So I walk up to the altar and click to read the book. The book opens.. and nothing! I take the book anyways and make thelong journey back through the dungeon and take it back to the guy im supposed to show it too and nada! Now in the videos I have seen, as soon as you read it, it gives you a message that the book was read, you can take it and go back to the town and give it to Akibar. A portal opens up so you can fast travel back to the entrance. Is there a console command to just forward the quest? I have watched 3 videos and I know im doing nothing wrong.. I cant sem to activate the book. Other tomes im fine. Hello everyone and happy holidays. I am trying to re upload all my old mods on my new pc and right off the bat getting error messages. Racemenu and Skse are not getting along..I have 2 problems:: 1. I have SKSe through steam already yet the game says its not running.. I booted up through mod organizer.. does it really matter how I boot up the game?. first error message:: skyui error code1 skse is not running Sky Ui will not work correctly. 2. (heres the race menu part) You ARE running skse version 0000 expected 1.7.2.47 or greater. Nioveride plugin not detected Chargen and its script not detected. Error codes (0)(3)(4)(6) I mean WOah.......... When I boot up through steam I auto crash cant even get in whenn I boot up through MO2 I get the above errors...

Thank you Doctor Kaiz^^ Whats funny is that my saved games are all there. Just all the mods including race menu is not.. I will look into vortex. I guess I can google Vortex game mod manager and hopefully find it. Ill try to get back to this thread once all is pretty much back to the way it was or as close to it and see if those saves are acting right. I had a ton of quests I never did that are still there. I mis my companions. I paid to have some custom made too.

New Pc and decisions to make!! I need help : ...(Hello and Help help! Thank you for reading this. You are great people here. I started my skyrm game Long Long ago on cd. I have then reinstalled skyrm a couple of times via steam. I just got a new pc and funny thing is.. I was able to load up my last save!! Sad thing is.. ALl my mods are gone. I still have them, and I think I will need to reupload them cause my game is whacked and everything is gone. This means I will probably have to re upload them. ( Will I ??)Even my avatar was bald and had that nasty speckled skin. I almost screamed! Last I knew.. they were trying to get people to stop using the nexus mod uploader.. I dont know what to use to make sure the mods install correctly.. even with an uploader.. you still get those yellow triangles sometimes and the fighting just sux... So if there is anything I can do to bring my mods back without having to reupload over 100 of them.. or if I need to do this.. what program should I use? is mod organizer even still around? DId the nexus game amanger survive? I need updateing fast.. this is going to take forever..A lot of these mods came from other sources not just here or steam. Can you imagine the hours its going to take to try to figure out which ones are on steam and which ones arnt the search button kinda sux. Thank you all for your helo. Hello Everyone, I am looking for a bigger castle or mansion that has nice flora, flowers around it. I have a few followers and my Azuras dawn mansion doesnt have enough beds with the two kids also. If I could dismiss the servants and take a few of the owned beds I would stay here. If any of you can recommend anyone who makes nice castles and or manors / mansions. I would really appreciate it. well Im back and had to scrap the whole thing. I dont know what happened. when I went to re upload my follower into nif merge his face kept coming up missing. Now that Im starting all over from scratch every time I export his head and open nif skope it ssays the texture is missing from his face! Anyone know what I did wrong?

Yes I got this straightened out thankfully. Its kind of a bummer, when I open Nif merge I cant get the beard to merge over.

I am taking a crack at making Saske the Kitsune into a follower. The Samurai on the right is courtesy of Heston. I love him so so much. I ran into a slight snag with Saske. On the creation kit, I am suing a basic follower that you can remodel with the skin tines you get when you export the head. Some of the body arts for the wood elf I cant find to build his textures and meshes. I have my game from steam. usually in the character assets you'll see nord, argonian, dark elf etc, you get the body parts from there. I dont see any folders with a wood eld or bosmer for textures or body parts. Could I just pull some human hands or feet from a nord male as long as I have the RGB numbers right? I know your supposed to build a folder with your followers name , and copy and paste over the body parts and build your follower from there, I get that red exclamation mark when I try to use any parts from the self made folder.

Hello All, I had a custom follower made for me and I am trying to make custom dialougue for him. I have followed the steps two or 3 times using this video I am having an issue with the dialogue not showing up. I have "Force subtitles" checked. Should I un check that? I made sure to record a long enough silent space so the subtitle will show up. I was working on this when my comp suddenly froze. Took me 3 days of running anti virus stuff and defragging to get things back.. So any advice would be great. The Lip thing is Not checked. Windows 7 Skyrm via steam this isnt a graphic card issue so no need for that.. Just need the custom dialgue thats in my yellow boxes to start showing up Thank you all for looking!!

Thank you both I did exactly as you said in the video and changed the voiced. I couldnt have done it without Both your help. When I made the changes... I went back into the game He came running right up to me to chat. I mean He RAN.....Like he couldnt wait to see me.. Before he was super snobby and I had to talk to him! Hehehe Thank you both^^

I recognize the voice since a lot of elves use it in game. My problem is not really knowing how tro set it up or open it up right in the CK so I will check this video out. Thank you all for your time and answers I really appreciate it. Yeah I want him to be marry able and I was going to study up on how to make custom dialogue with a back story for him.

Hello I had a follower made for me and it refuses to bring up the follower dialogue. I have tried with 3 different characters. Male and female so that wasnt the issue. I had dismissed all or any followers I had before and logged in and out of game that still didnt fix the issue. The guy that made the follower says it works fine on his system and just dumped this thing on me and woulnt fix it : ( Is there a guide on how to fix or go into the CK and fix it myself? All I know about the ck is that you go to file data and check on skyrm, update and the follower. Do I make the follower the active file? hat tab do I go to to see if he actually following? I offered to pay this guy and now I know why he refused..He probably knew he couldnt do it right or something.

Thank you thank you thank you.. I am so relived anyone responded at all. Im used to a bunch of remarks like "What ya do that for stupid?" things like that. I had racemenu before and it conflicted with cbbe. I wonder if cbbe conflicts with CME? Seems like I got both to work but im still all messed up missing files etc... We will see what happens. This Sykrm has been the worst game to deal with so far and Im not touching Special edition ever. I hate snow anyways.. Sykrm is just too ugly.. I might be enticed with another game if it looked pretty with more forest and flowers.. I do have to say once I got my avatar so pretty it was really nice.. Hello everyone, man I hope someone can help me......... I started to update my nexus mod manager and saw it started deleting all my mods!! I stopped it! I tried to use the green check mark to put the mods back... My game is all messed up.... when I tried to put the mods back my game crashes to desktop now... if I uncheck it and go into game all my companions are giant question marks with no textures and my face is gone too. this is because of the "Enhanced Character Edit" mod.So to clarify I have either the crash to desktop. or I can choose to have my friends of the dovhakin companions show up as question marks big yello boxes and have my body and face gone too. I really dont want to have to start my entire game over. My system: I have windows 7 My graphics card can more than handle this. I use Loot, Tes5 and always clean my mods. I use NMM tooSkyrm I have to say has been the most difficult game to mod. for 1 mod to work you need at least 5 other mods before it. Oblivion was never this bad. I copied and pasted the mods how they show up in the NMM.here is the list of mods I have... Tank you Leo, It was a bad taste in my mouth when all I got was freezes, crashes and garbage right off the bat. A couple people messaged me and suggested TES, Loot. and one other thing I cant even remember... What a hassle!! I will look at that guide right now. I am aware of how mods works since I have been doing this since 2005. Skyrm seems to be extra sensitive. I purposely stayed away fom any mod thatrequired more than 2 other mods in order to run it. Geesh. What I am going to do is just go back and make folders for each mod that requires something before it and SLOWLY, build up that mod one day at a time. go in see if it works save and then move on to the next. I did get the script extender last night. I will have to make a decision to either go with CBBE or just deal with the Cover girl skin mod and stay the way I am and have "Show racemenu" freeze up. Even with the special mod of precash crusher its still CTDING. Iuse NMO, Loot, Tes, SKSE I am going to clean every single mod after I install it, run loot, and give it the best chance of success. Its really too bad... I never had this much hassle with Obvivion. I liked how Green and forestry everything looked better there too.. I still might just dump Skyrm
