  1. I'm talking stock papyrus, nothing else I saw a thread somewhere that referenced "Console()" as a function. For instance you might want to kill an actor when the player enters a certain cell ---ScriptName ExampleTrigger Extends ObjectReference Actor Property PlayerREF Auto Event OnTriggerEnter(ObjectReference akActionRef) If akActionRef == PlayerREF Console("kill 000825b") ; <---------------------- obviously there are better ways to kill actors - this is just an example EndIf EndEvent--- Anyways I haven't seen console() in the papyrus function list. Can papyrus run console commands without any additional files? EDIT: My question got answered elseware so I'll update if you get here through a search - Console through papyrus is ONLY possible with SKSE and ConsoleUtilsSE installed, I had the idea to create a ring that executes a command when you equip it and how you set the command would have been through naming it in an enchanting table.

This topic is for everyone. --- My Hardware: I have a ryzen 3600 w/ an rtx 2070 super, 16gb 3200mhz ram, and I'm playing on a 3440*1440 Ultrawide monitor. It's 100hz but I'm pretty sure I should be locking the game at 60-70hz. What's a good texture resolution I should install? Answer: Should I be dropping anything down from ultra? Answer: What ENBs/Shaders should I use if any at all? Answer: Are there any settings I should adjust through the Nvidia/AMD/intel control panel? Answer: Are there any good tweaks that are specific to my hardware? Answer: (this one I actually know, RTX cards crash to desktop if you have weapon debris enabled, there is a fix that lets you turn it on however. You can find it by searching "weapon debris" or "RTX". I went for the one that's in russian and it works pretty well. --- Obviously to further optimize we want to experiment and adjust as it goes. But seeing what works for people and what doesn't is a good place to start.
  3. 11-11-2020, Premium DLs are peaking at 3.8 megabytes a second. Anyone willing to help me figure this out? I got premium earlier today, made sure it registered to my account so I have the premium tag, saw I was still getting 2MB/s, Set DL threads to 10, restarted, and now I'm peaking at 3.8 MB/s. Barely worth the 50 dollars I paid for LT membership. I have a feeling it's supposed to be higher than 3.8 MB/s so I thought I'd check in here to see if theres anything I can do to fix it before seeing if I can get a refund.
  4. I've never experienced it but I have downloaded mods that have entirely different file names from their official mod name on the nexus.
  5. Rightclick -> View image -> Control + Scroll to zoom What to add: Thumbnails! The ability to toggle between that and the standard viewtype. Covers for 18+ mods and an option to disable them. What to change: change "never installed" to "install" and change Why?: The idea of thumbnails in general is to make management of items as intuitive and as speedy as possible. People can spend hours upon hours upon hours modding with the vortex interface. Even more if you have even mild vision impairment. Images are often quicker to process than text. The Vortex UI has changed a lot since the NMM era. Lets make it even faster and simpler so we can spend more time in the game!

  9. So you're sipping on your coffee, maybe reading grognak, or staring at the vault guy going door to door like some weirdo. Next thing you know your boi is crying cause he needs changed. So Codsworth changes him quickly with sounds of nothing but shaun screaming coming from your boi's room. You walk in and see codsworth and shaun are both clean and finished. What's wrong here? How did Codsworth change him so quickly and cleanly if he only has 1 claw arm? That's right you know what this game needs. A mod. What should this mod do? It should absolutely encompass you in the immersion of hearing shaun scream even louder as you hear Codsworth's circular saw and torch arm assisting in changing Shaun. What kind of freak can change a kid with only one arm? Not Codsworth. Now that he's using all of his arms. What kind of freak changes a kid cleanly each and every time? Not Codsworth, as when you walk in now he'll be covered in baby waste. What an absolute immersion masterpiece this game will be if and when this mod comes into existence.

So I found this vid on youtube which demonstrates how to make a standalone armor mod but it doesn't demonstrate how to add it to leveling lists, make it craftable at a chem-bench or an armorsmith-bench. After watching I promptly made a test set of bathrobes with an armor rating of 420 and a value of 69. I noticed that I have to copy the same reference across multiple files and do some manual searching for which references I need to change. That looks time-consuming af. With that in mind I have 3 questions: How do I make a standalone craftable item? how do I make said item for armorsmith? Is there a way to speed up the time it takes to change file references so I don't have to do it entirely by hand?
  11. I accidentally killed every single person in vault 81 and now piper hates me + I'm currently not able to access the inner vault 81 so I won't be able to get curie. (I spared the cat cause it was still lost outside at that point) I want to see if there's a way to fix it without unimmersively loading an earlier save.
