i can also confirm that the new beta patch 1.4.26 also works, as it fixed it for me.

After lots of effort attempting to fix this problem, i found that on another thread that by installing the 1.4.26 beta patch it worked again, this also worked for me.

Don't worry the magic menu crash has nothing to do with the SKSE, i have also fixed that now as well and that was something different altogether.

after lot's of effort of finding a solution to this problem this page helped, i can confirm that SKSE (skyrim script extender) has worked for me and now it does not crash at all, one other problem i found was not being able to open magic menu, but that may be something else. However that does not matter as i am a ranger/stealth character on the game.
