Just checking back in about the ENB patch. I've tried it, but after an hour or so it again crashed (in the Rift, which is one of the really frequent crash areas). All I did was extract the files to the Skyrim directory and edit the Skyrim.ini like I was instructed to. Is there anything else I can fiddle with on this ENB patch?

Interesting.....anyone else confirm if this worked for them? If I remember correctly, this fix was introduced a couple months ago and worked for some people. Didn't work for others (including me). Will try the ENB patch...

I'm playing on a laptop, so I have no idea where to get power supply info from... Mobility Radeon 4650 512MB for the videocard.

This didn't work for me - crashed after a few minutes again. (Also tried gjm777's solution and several others, to no avail.) If it means anything, my crashes seem to be location-dependent. For example, I never crash indoors or inside a city, and also in certain parts of the outdoor map like around Markarth and Winterhold, but almost always crash in Riverwood and around Riften. (Most other outdoor areas are unpredictable.) Have had this issue since like hour 2, and there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason other than location.
