I'm getting the same error. I haven't touched my system security in the last week. Windows says there are no required updates and I have Vortex 1.4.16 This is probably a Windows issue. Windows seems to have decided it no longer recognizes wired connections as internet connectivity. Despite being on the internet, using it right now, to post on the web. Vortex probably calls the same API to look for internet connectivity, I'd imagine. Edit: A reboot seemed to fix it. Both Windows and Vortex.

I didn't realize it would be this easy! I just went looking today if I could turn off mods to play a vanilla game of FO4 (still haven't got all my Achievements) and luckily this topic came up first when I started searching these forums. I had assumed "Purge" would have been, well, a real purge. Disable, nuke, delete, perhaps even see if the source file is available on the HD and delete it too. You know, a Purge. Not just a "Disable All".
