  1. I'd be interested to know how exactly this works legally. Didn't bethesda's ToS or whatever the docucemtn was that covers mods and user created content explcitily say that for profit mods weren't allowed? Also, I wonder if the Nexus would legally be able to host older, free versions of mods that the authors want to monetize on the steam marketplace even if they request it's removal here. I'm unsure legally what mods fall under but if it's a creative commons liscense, then I would wonder if the oldr versions would count as seperate works as far as liscensing works, and if so, then they would possibily legally still be able to be hosted here regardless if the author wants them taken down. This is all speculation on my part, I don't know the specifics of either bethesda's user content rules or the laws regariding liscenses, i'm just throwing my thoughts out there. If somebody DOES know i'd appericate hearing it though. In fact i'd be curious if the admins here would even want to keep older versions of mods up that the author wants taken down even if they are legally allowed to refuse due to the above.
  2. Perhaps you should ask for assistance from the person who made termina in skyrim? Just search for majoras mask in the files.
  3. Self explantory. Mod that removes either ambient dialouge/smalltalk about the player being the dragonborn, and/or removes all lines in the main quest that state it directly.
  4. I'm comparing some texture packs that involve ingots and ores. I imported them all into max without issue, assigned the appropriate textures and such. But when I imported the vanillia iron ingot and silver ingot mesh, I noticed something. The material for them had their textures being swapped. IE: The iron ingot mesh called for the silver ingot texture, and vis versa. Now, it appears that this is how the game works, as the silver ingot texture appears like the in game iron one. This brings up another issue. If that's the case, then shouldn't all the texture packs naturally follow the same mistake, in that what's named ironingot_d.dds or whatever would be applied to the silver ingot mesh? The thing is, the pathways for the materials of those meshes list the CORRECT pathway. What's going on here? EDIT: When looking in game for HD ores and ingots, the silver ingot shows the iron texture, as you expect if the author was aware of the messed up pathways, but iron texture for the ingot matches the iron ore ingot more, not the silver ore. Argh, this is confusing.
  5. Basically, if your cursor is over an NPC, you push a button, and the names of all the sidequests that NPC is attached to comes up. This would allow you to tell if you can safely kill the individual.
  6. This is PERFECT. Could you allow others to use the assets in this for whole new areas? I can't imagine the sheer amount of potential this would create. Also, some feedback: Making the old ruins and stone structures resemble precolumbian (Aztec, Maya, Toletec, etc) artectecture would be nice. Maybe even changing the weapons to resemble them, and have it be a truly complete overhaul. I've seen some aztec weapon mods, maybe you could ask the authors there.
  7. Is it possible to get SSS or a thin film interference effect in game? I know that glass weapons, and soul gems have a type of iridescence in that their specular color's don't match the diffuse color's hue.
  8. The following would be very, very helpful: - Allow a user to search for a keyword in addition to using tags. - Allow a user to look in more than one catagory in advanced search - Allow the use of tags in advanced search - Allow the use of booleans and related features. (IE: things in quotes must be exactly that, whole word only checkbox, can search for more than one word with x AND Y AND...., or x, y...., x OR y, and so on, if I seach for "ore", the word more wouldn't count, etc) - Allow thumbnails of file to show up in search - Allow a mod to be in more than one category
