Hi there, This is a pretty big problem for quite a few people, and unfortunately no one seems to have an answer on why it happens. A couple things though, your load order seems a bit out of whack, you should download and use BOSS, it helped me quite a bit. Also, while warzones is an awesome mod, it was only usable for me if it was the ONLY mod I was running, otherwise the game was constant freeze fest, I had to give up on it. So my suggestion is use BOSS, remove warzones, and see if it helps at all. I still freeze fairly often though, and have a pretty beastly computer (16GB Ram, GTX 670 4GB, i5-3500k, SSD etc.) I use the texture compressor as well, use gamebooster, and have tried a million different things, but cannot figure out why it keeps happening. No it hasn't been solved at all. I don't use warzones, and I have freezes constantly, to the point where I just don't want to play anymore. I had a couple months were they were pretty rare, but they are back with a vengeance, worse than ever. I have a powerful system similar to the OP but with a GTX 670 4GB, but you wouldn't know it with how crappy this game runs on it. It is (was) my favorite game, but It's about time to move on I think.

Buttons like the Notifications button up top, and in mod pages, the files, images, comments buttons, on all of them nothing happens. The page just sits there. This only started happening as of last night. I should also say I have been using the site since February and am a premium member. If anyone has any help or insight, I would be most grateful! I can't download anything at the moment because I cant even navigate to the files page! Thanks!!

Hello, I would really love to see an overhaul to the crafting (specifically smithing/tanning) interface, in a similar style to SkyUI. The interface gets so crowded with armor and weapon mods, and I have to be very careful when scrolling through the various categories, if I scroll too fast, its an automatic freeze and have to ctrl-alt-del and bring up the task manager to shutdown Skyrim. Very annoying. There has to be a better way. If there is already something (believe me I've looked) feel free to point me in the right direction. Thanks!

@Kheldarath I don't know if there is a more batch-oriented way to do it or not, sorry. I've had to do it individually for each character that had the problem. If anyone has a better way, I'd love to hear it.

I what I do to fix this is in the CK, under the Character Gen Parts tab, click on the femaleuppereyesocket.dds in the middle drop down menu, then in the box to the right where the color options are switch it to "color average". Save, and you are good to go. Fixes it every time.

Hello, So when I go into the actor tab, and click on preview full (or preview head for that matter), there is nothing but a blank window on the right, the preview won't show up anymore. This is for any actor I try to preview. I've deleted the CK and re-installed it a couple times, but it does not help. Any one have any ideas? Thanks in advance!

I know you are trying to help, but what's the point in playing a game like this if you are going to tiptoe around and not kill anything or loot anything?

And another one joins our ranks. Sorry man, no one seems to know anything about this. Been researching and searching, and can't find any answers or anything that works. Until Bethesda acknowledges there is an issue and fixes it, I am afraid there is nothing we can do about it. Btw, I am having the exact same problem as you, minus the pc shutting comepletely down.

Jodah100, I have the same issue, have had for about 2 months now. I see quite a few other people that have the same problem. Unfortunately there seems to be no explanation or understanding of why it happens. I've uninstalled/re-installed a few times, and tried very hard to find out what is causing it. Just when I think I've foound the problem, I freeze again. I can play freeze free on a clean install with no mods. But I've done that already, and since I learned about mods several months ago, having hard time wanting to play just straight vanilla anymore. So I'm deciding if I want to do that, or just give up. I know this didn't help you at all, just letting you know your not the only one. If I ever find out what the cause is, I will let you know. It's been suggested that several mods were the cause (enhanced blood textures, deadly spell impacts, SkyTest, etc.) but I've tried clean installs without each of those mods, and still freeze. Those arent the only ones Ive tried, just a small example. Anyway, good luck, please let me know if you find anything out.

Just checked out the EBT mod page and he's put up an update today, if I'm feeling brave I may try it and see what happens. Not sure I want to go through that again though lol.

@yafi Thanks man, I appreciate it. I did a full uninstall of all mods and Skyrim, ran it once in vanilla to be sure there were no problems, now will slowly and carefully add mods back in and avoid the blood textures mod. Thanks again.

Usually it is followed by a complete freeze needing the task manager to shut down Skyrim, though interestingly this time it was a CTD, which is very rare for me, my main problem is the freeze.

Testing some things out, I had my customary freeze, did ctrl-alt-del to shut down Skyrim. Just for fun, I decided to look at the other tabs in the task manager. Under the performance tab, it listed this: Physical memeory usage: 4.69 GB Total: 16301 Cached: 9030 Available: 11739 Free: 2951 I tried a few more times to compare, and each I froze the numbers were very very similar. To anyone that knows more about this stuff than I do, in regards to Skyrim, are there any red flags with these numbers? Please, if you have any info, please please share. Thanks. Screw it, gonna uninstall everything, delete everything, wipe it all clean, reinstall and play vanilla skyrim. Forget mods, way too much hassle. Thanks for trying to help. Peace.
