  1. Lolwhat? There's people complaining about the graphics with a straight face? That's kinda cute. First off, the screenshots on the left still look better than the ones on the right to me. Secondly, I can cherry pick screenshots too even if the screenshots do look terrible compared to the actual game. Thirdly, http://www.geforce.com/Optimize/Guides/five-fast-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-tweaks-guaranteed-to-make-your-game-look-even-better And finally, the creation kit isn't even out so the best modders can't do everything they want to do, and you're still complaining skyrim doesn't LOOK good enough when it's already up there at the top? Get effing real dude. TL;DR, if the graphics are not good enough for you, please, pretty please with a sugar on top, develop your own game with ungodly graphics so we may drink from the awesomeness that is your talent for designing graphical wonders within a game the size of China. Till then? Get off your high horse. Sincerely, The Devils advocate.
  2. Khajit please, I run high 70s (low 80s tops) with all my settings maxed out and several texture mods on GeForce GTX 580 (EVGA) =P I don't know what my fan settings are mind you, pretty sure they're on auto.
  3. Uhh.... I mean I guess it would be fun for a bit. I can't really see a modder making this though. I -could- see a zombie apocalypse type mod though.
  4. I think something like that might cause glitches. I think you'd have to physically put the NPC on the bed (the bed would also have to be large enough, which might cause more glitches when the companion tries to get into it). Granted, I'm no modder and I'm just speculating. Would be neat though :)
  5. Removing those bulging mouth-breather teeth-ridden-jaws would go a long way to making orcs a more sexy looking race. Like so http://th03.deviantart.net/fs70/PRE/i/2011/223/1/2/wow_orc___female_by_niahawk-d468r7a.jpg http://fc05.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2010/222/a/0/Baduhenna___Orc_Warrior_by_fluffay_chan.jpg http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs71/i/2011/213/d/1/wow_orc_____finished_doodle___by_niahawk-d42euiu.jpg But really "sexy" and "hot" are very subjective terms.
  6. I agree with this, I was wondering why this wasn't an option.
  7. Now there's an idea. That would be a good test seeing as they aren't characters created by mods so nothing should be edited. It's not that the marriage system is bad per se... it's just really bare bones and not fleshed out... at all. There's literally 10 lines of dialogue or so and that's the entire marriage system. The problem is that the few bugs there are with the marriage system (Your bride/husband running away to never be found again sometimes after the wedding, and not being able to marry again if your spouse dies neither of which happen 100% of the time) become larger than life.
  8. So many posibilities, still no creation kit. @_@
  9. Multiple companions would be interesting. Sort of like a party in a traditional rpg. Then there can be interesting dialogue and interaction. Precisely!
  10. You'd still get more action (and by action I mean interest, get your mind out of the gutter ;) ) with a female companion. I can't explain to you why, but it's true :P I'd still be all for this guy, and would use him too if I was allowed multiple companions, because the serious lack of interaction is killing me too. See my thread
  11. I personally think this is a fantastic idea, even if I'm entirely skeptical that something on a scale this massive simply would never happen, on one condition. Story has to be new. Perhaps another war breaks out. Perhaps if you follow the Stormcloak story and win, full on never-ending war (omitting of course if one side gets wiped out entirely, then they obviously win) can break out between skyrim and the Legion in Cyrodill. I don't know, there has to be something exciting happening in cyrodill at the least to make people actually want to go there again. My 2 cents for now.
  12. This. Turn off autosaves and you have permadeath.
  13. I like it, but I agree you'd get more action if said barbarian was female.
  14. Agreed To add to this, I can't wait for a mod that lets me bring multiple companions with me again like the ones in Oblivion. I'm a legion commander dangit, I need troops!
  15. Keep in mind like... half or more of those are most likely silly game saves.
  16. So, can I get a shout out from all my companion lovers out there? Anybody planning on making more in-depth companions? Any modders of oblivion plan to attempt a port of their oblivion companions into Skyrim? I, for one, am excited at the amount of possibilities for companion mods. It seems to me the default companions of skyrim provide a much easier base to build upon than the robots we had in oblivion. The only issue I could see getting in the way would be the marriage system and how buggy it is. That's another thing that needs a massive overhaul though... marriage in Skyrim is so... crude and unrefined.
  17. Eh... you had some really good ones but you could easily cut out 50 or so of the really stupid ones that are just rehashes of ones you did earlier in the video like losing footing, murder, and so on that just aren't that funny or creative (Like I think 15 or so of them is just doing some crime then dying by guard). The novelty of suicide wore off after about the first 10 Number 7 is definitely my favorite as well though. Very creative use of suicide and perfect timing.
  18. I smiled. The novelty wore off at about 20 seconds though.
