  1. It is meant for an enchantment, Do I still need an event?
  2. as I said in the description, I took: "Game.GetPlayer().ModActorValue("health", 10.0)" and changed it to: "Game.GetPlayer().ModActorValue("Invisibility", 1.0)" and on compilation I get: \Invisibility.psc(3,4): no viable alternative at input '.' No output generated for Invisibility, compilation failed. Batch compile of 1 files finished. 0 succeeded, 1 failed. Failed on Invisibility this script is in a magic effect of an invisibility archtype, and It is used in an enchantment. please help.
  3. well it seems easy, you could add the weapons to the correct leveled items and then get the bandits to give you a weapon every once in a while, only problem is that it may repeat and I don't know how to do chance.
  4. well if I had to think of a method it would be to script an effect that summons a mist object which should be easy but it wouldn't impede visibility, at least for the enemy so it is and issue. maybe that can be solved by adding and invisibility script but anyways, it would require research on how to summon a static object.
  5. books can only teach skills or spells, it is a closed choice so that's difficult. I agree with the rest though.
  6. well personally think that instead you should script the effect to kill since it's cleaner, also you could increase the duration of the spell and not auto calculate the cost, with that you can make the glow last longer. I am not sure if it is viable but I believe so.
  7. well the main problem here is getting the original voice actors/imitating them as without it you can't add new dialog to existing npcs
  8. I agree, paarthunax is a friend. maybe instead of a different faction, you could (if you are a bosmer,altmer or khajit) join the thalmor and fight against the blades while allowing the dragons to wreak havoc to weaken the empire, that can also be great(as I hate those nords.)
  9. but magicka has no connection to carry weight, a more logical solution would be an alteration increase carry weight spell, and there are mods for that.

  11. well the first idea is easier, you could add a scripted magic effect that when hits a dead animal(or alive depends how you want it) that can be cooked, will add to the corpse/inventory roasted meat of that kind, while not easy it is a lot easier than starting to reach into the inventory and choosing which meat(which is the difficult part, if you had a spell for each meat it is easy as well). all in all it does seem do-able but I like to speculate more than get off my as* and do something :P
  12. you have to change a couple of other things for it to fit lore, for example I remember reading a book and in it I read of the rule of first enchant that means that you can only enchant something once so you should change that as well and so on.
  13. hmmm... I am no expert but I think it can be done, setting a couple of dragons per cell and having them fly around from a spot to a spot, while I could probably do it I am to busy, maybe in a couple of months I'll get into it and make it-or you can learn it yourself as it does seem really simple even though it is tedious.
  14. no, you should go into the CK and search the items in all, then you can delete them. be warned though that it could and probably will cause some bugs in the game such as leveled items missing and bandits or other npc running around without boots or gauntlets. these bugs can be fixed by toiling through the CK and updating every place the item is mentioned to another item. another fix would be to create a replacement with the same ID and then the game would think that that is the item in question. P.S:make a new .esp for it becuase changing the .esm is not recommended
  15. (nords hate magic)+(I love altmer mage)=(I always join imperials) I want an alternate MQ line that instead of the blades i can join the thalmor if I am one of the dominion races(altmer,bosmer,khajit) or that it will be decided by what race you are and argonian can choose.

I resent that thalmor comment as I am (in skyrim) an altmer player and support the thalmor. other than that, I believe that the dovahkiin will win as he can call a dragon to his aid, and as an altmer as a good understanding of oblivion and thus can devise a way to avoid the daedric prince and once he does he can just blast the nerevarine(which I don't know as I didn't play morrowind) with magic, and my argument is that if I can take oblivion as an example, magic was inferior in the titles before skyrim so the nerevarine will probably be a warrior and everybody(or just me, some people can't realize it) knows that mages beat warriors(or at least in skyrim(enchanted armor +dual cast+impact=never ending barrage of spells so the warrior can't move due to stagger).
  18. well anyone that hates me for this post so be it, I myself as an altmer player believe that ulfric was right to kill toryg since in the aldmeri embassy it states that the AD plan to take over skyrim once the war has left it weak and defenceless so yeah I as an altmer would enjoy being a mer in a land of mer while ulfric and his goons would be either dead or slaves, sucks to be them. if you want to hear an objective opinion, I think ulfric does love skyrim, he is not aware of his ego and actually believes his nonsense. I play as an imperial everytime and assasinate the emperor because I don't give a damn about him, it's the idea of an empire to keep order that is necessary so I side with imperials (since the AD won't take over in this game).

  20. how did we get from stuff like gambling and stories to dogfights and brothels? if the mod will ad immersion it should have legal stuff at taverns.
  21. maybe add an amulet that gives you a power once a day, harmony of Talos reduces shouting cooldown by 99% for 60 seconds. I think that the shouting cooldown would be awsome and the fact it is temporary and once a day will make it balanced.
  22. I agree that is nice but it requires some knowledge, I am a beginner so what I can say is that it might be done through the talking system and spells with special animation to include instruments, overall I think it might be difficult and I am sure it is above my own skill level.
  23. if they kill it it can be revived, you have to suck out it's soul for it to truly die, that is the point in being dragonborn
  24. these spells are unbalanced since turning someone into a child will be like the turn into a chicken spell, you could do it by researching either that mod or the wabbajack but it is simply unbalancing to turn a battle mage that can defeat alduin easily into a chicken (or a child)
  25. the only problem is that here combat is a lot more prominent than is AC and so if you do that the game will become terribly easy (and give warriors who can counter and unfair advantage).
