  1. Don't know if this helps you or not, but I followed this tutorial to extract the meshes and textures. Still, I seem to be missing some textures *shrug* https://github.com/JLouis-B/RedTools/wiki/Export-The-Witcher-3-3D-models
  2. I know this is an old, old thread but I just wanted to say THANK YOU to Letterbomber815. The cheat worked perfectly. :)
  3. Also, this method will work the same for Old Skyrim. You just don't use the EEO SE Patch. But everything else is the same.
  4. Hello everyone. I spent two grueling days trying to fix the problem of making Ethereal Elven Overhaul work with Skyrim Special Edition, Dawngaurd, and Cosmetic Vampire Overhaul without ending up with black-face elves. I made a tutorial here: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/6770217-help-making-cosmetic-vampire-overhaul-sse-work-with-ethereal-elven-overhaul/ I put the tutorial in PDF format and provided a download link. For some reason, and I was too damn tired to figure out why, I couldn't post any images in my post, so I just gave up and made a PDF, instead. But hey, at least this way you'll have offline instructions, right? Right. I hope this helps a lot of you and, please, if there's a problem with my method, please, please let me know. It will help me learn and help others achieve better results, less mod conflicts, etc. Enjoy and happy modding!
  5. I think I figured it out, and since this forum isn't letting me post images (???) I'm going to upload my instructions as a PDF, instead. http://www.mediafire.com/file/as8xy3c8c7d5fz1/Updating_EEO_for_SSE_and_Dawngaurd_Tutorial.pdf/file Now, my method of fixing the problem of EEO and the dreaded black face bug when elves are vampires may not be entirely correct. I'm still somewhat new to Creation Kit and haven't done much with working with characters; mostly, I've made house mods for myself, and that's about it. What I've figured out is the result of a lot of trial and error, guesswork, and hours of Googling. If someone has a better method than mine, or if I did something wrong, please reply to this thread and let me know. :)
  6. Hi all, I'm trying to make Ethereal Elven Overhaul play nice with Cosmetic Vampire Overhaul SSE. Apparently, if you use both together you get the black face bug. EEO hasn't been ported to SSE but there is a patch that makes it compatible with SSE here: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/7351?tab=files However, it seems that EEO is missing some sort of texture set that was deleted and shouldn't have been. The mod author for CVO had this to say: It is important to follow the directions listed on the SE patch if you attempt to use them together which means you deleted all original loose facegen data and plugin as that is what the patch is it is updated facegen and plugin for SE. It is also important to note that unlike original the patch correctly ships with that new facegen archived in BSA and should not be extracted. You need to modify that new plugin and add back in the 2 texture sets which should not have been deleted but were which are SkinHeadMaleDarkElfVampire and SkinHeadFemaleVampire to each of the three vampire race records as all vampire NPC edited here reference those sets and they need to be present and valid and not missing. I went and setup EEO with the patch and made changes as listed above. On a clean save with no other mods loading CVO after EEO I went in and tested the elven vampire in game to check for issues. All tested showed correctly with no blackfaces. EEO alone had slightly nicer looking goblins so if nice looking elven vampires are what you want then load CVO after EEO. If the above is followed you should be able to use them together and if you still have issue then refer to troubleshooting I have listed in DESC for blackfaces. I can't understand these instructions and my experience with Creation Kit is pretty limited--I sort of know my way around but much of it is a mystery to me. Okay, so I need to add some texture sets, but how do I do that? I need step-by-step instructions, please.
  7. Thank you! I honestly didn't think anyone would ever respond to this post, lol. I'd just about given up.
  8. If this is posted in the wrong place, sorry. I wasn't sure where to post it. Anyway, I saw this armor in the image section of a cloak mod I was looking at and I wanted to know what the name of it is. Not the cloak and hood, but the armor itself. Thanks in advance :)
  9. I have a vanilla save that starts my character at the point where she exits the cave, this way I bypass the whole beginning scenes when I start my game. Although having the horses run up the side of the mountain is pretty funny...once. After that, iz not so funny.
  10. Since I don't speak Programmer I can't make sense out of the error log and I'm hoping someone here can help. I've just finished the quest that allows you to enter the guild for the first time and, like my title says, my game crashes when I try to enter the guild. I've attached a copy of the error log. In the meantime, I'm going to first make sure all my mods are updated and if that doesn't work I'll remove mods and add them one at a time. Ugh, so much work... Edit: Never mind. I discovered that the problem was with Karmylla's Immersive Map Edits. She has a weapons.xnb file that needs to go in the Content folder if you're not using XnbLoader like I'm not. The vanilla game doesn't have a weapons.xnb file in the Content folder, just one in Data and one in Tilesheets; I deleted her weapons.xnb file because I have a retexture I didn't want overwritten and I didn't realize her mod was expecting to see a weapons.xnb file in the Content folder.
