My plan was to have the normal version of the mod then maybe a light version that only replaces vault girl with the new vault girl, and maybe puts her in a few things, for people who still want to have Vault Boy as their UI but like the different vault girl. I think a fomod mod installer would be great, but have no idea how to make it happen. I know there are tutorials though. It's something I would like to do, but right now devoting all modding time to getting important animations done. :)
  2. Yep will be cool having Vault Girl spread across the game world in lore friendly ways So, I just realized how I can get through the status screen animations faster. I'll just make them all one frame each (or shorter simple animations). I'm going to try it out and see if that works. :)
  3. Great work! I'm working on a Vault Girl Mod that will replace many of the vault boys. This may mean it'll be possible for some to get it working on their phone too. :)
  4. I think I may do something like that. The special icons all work, and there are other icons I've made. While the status screen does work, all the variations with limb damage have not been made. By the time that is done, I'll probably be ready to release the first version of the mod.

  6. This is the follow up to my older mods that use a similar a Vault Girl, and I like this look. I have been told by good sources that a Vanilla Vault Girl Interface Overhaul is already in the works. Also I may provide an option at some point that has hair similar to the vanilla vault girl. We'll see tho.

So what I'm hoping to do is release the first version of the mod once the status animations are done, and the hud pop ups, special icons, crafting icons, inventory icons, and most if not all of the world objects I've found are converted to Vault Girl. Also all the pre existing vault girl perks converted to this vault girl. Most important thing is getting the status animations made, but it is a tedious process since there are 17 variations with different limbs broken. I'm not going to worry about the perk chart for now.

  10. I want this to be possible too, but it is beyond my abilities. If someone figures out how to make all perks and icons variable based on gender, that would be awesome. Also I may make variations like hair style. Like have one with hair similar to Vanilla Vault Girl, one with this hair, and then one with a pixie cut.

  12. Yeah same here, been learning through trial and error. Also that's a cool trick to know, will make adjustments go faster since you don't have to exit out and restart the game.
  13. What method did you use to edit hudmenu.swf? I tried editing it (decompiled it with JPEXS free decompiler) and I think I broke it (crashes my game). I've been able to successfully edit the status icons, special icons, and perks. For some reason the default vault boy image doesn't show the edits I've made. http://i.imgur.com/xKPMqKd.png
  14. I've been using Bethesda Archive Extractor and JPEXS to get the file from the game and just having everything be white, and export it as a SWF file. Also I believe you might have to mess with some files to get loose files to show up in game. But that's something you got to do for any mod. So black appears as transparent? That's good to know. So far I've just be using white and transparent background.
  15. Have you managed to modify the hudmenu swf without breaking it? I'm making a Vault Girl mod and I editted the notification graphics and the file crashes my game. It might be the decompiler I used, or Flash but I'm not sure. :confused:
  16. Hey everyone. I'm currently in the process of making a Vault Girl mod for Fallout 4, and so far it has been going smoothly. However, when I export my modified hudmenu file as an SWF it will give some errors and using the file will cause the game to crash. I've been able to edit stuff like perk and status animations with no problem. I'm guessing it might be a problem with Flash CS6. I've seen some people make mods that edit the hud so I was wondering someone could help me.
