  1. (interesting name). Well, it is certainly multiplayer/server based with persistent databasing. It is not (at least not at this moment) a single player, downloadable mod. However, there is no reason a single player could not solo-play... but I get the point of what you ask. The mod (I'm sure some will argue the finer details) is server hosted, not downloadable at this time. It is hosted and boasts several database persistence like; time, PC location and date. But players can solo the quests, or hire mercs to help in a pinch. No team/party playing is enforced. As a matter of fact, several test players I have prefer to solo... it's more challenging... so they say. Does that answer your questions? Erik.

  4. I am still looking for test players... and of course permanent players... to join us in Europa II ~ the Dark Age. The world has many quest types to offer for all character classes. There are Crafting, Foraging and Career systems unique to the server. The world is persistent; the actions, quests, locations, times and dates are all recorded via SQL databasing. Players can enjoy both quest, story and DM driven events.   6. Hello Everyone. I am inviting the curious and any nwn2 players to come visit the (very) early stages of the remake of Europa II ~ the Dark Age (Formerly Annwn in nwn1, and Europa in nwn2). I have been working (mostly alone) on this remake for just over a year and I am very much interested in the community's player comments on the project, feel, look of the environment and some of its server mechanics. I want to take a few seconds to thank some ppl who made aspects for Europa II possible: Pain/Meyer, KEMO, Zheldon, BTH, PellePlut and my very loyal test players. More detail on the developmentand some of the test players can be found here, as well as the opportunity to voice your comments to the test group and community at large.   7. Dark0ne- Thanks again for this. It's great to be at a site that obviously has an enthusiastic and vibrant community. I'll make sure that my players Europa II come visit, and since many are Skyrim players, it's just logical for them to "come to the dark side". Hopefully I'll be able to announce Europa's beta test soon too, yay! Erik.

I'm going to chime in with Mokah, when I started modding in NWN1, and eventually in NWN2 some 7 or more years ago, I was amazed at the community effort that was constantly poured into the game, its development, tutorials, content and game play, and so much more. Even today, the game is still being added to in so many ways that they cannot, in all reality, be mentioned here in its entirety. Show me another game that has done that... I think that, although the vault has been an amazing repository for years now, we, as a community, need to start thinking of where we want to go with NWN 1&2, and all the content we have developed and used of the years. Nexus, has drive, it has ppl and it offers opportunity. Even if we are simply talking about a copy of the vault, one thing I have learnt in years of modding is "you can never have too many copies".   9. I'm in! I think we should be considering a backup for NWN2. I am working on something that will keep me in NWN2 for several years to come. Besides, activity here may drum up new players, or bring back old ones... Erik.
