  1. The Harvet Overhaul mod has a compatibility patch for SkyRe. It keeps on sorting it before SkyRe_Main.esp, even though I have set up rules to run after it. SkyRe_Main.esp is a dependency for SkyRe_HarvestOverhaulDawnguardDragonbornPatch.esp. Do you want my game to crash on load? For now, I have to manually fix it. Very annoying. EDIT: Turns out there was some other things in my ruleset that were affecting this. BOSS is good, me, not so much.
  2. Here are my suggestions: Tales of Lycanthropy (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/12687) - A popular mod. Check it out. One thing I like is the uncontrolled transformations that occur with the Lunar cycle. The whole animation sequence for this is just awesome. Heart of the Beast (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/13779) - great sound mod for being a werewolf. The initial transformation changes are awesome. Bestial Hunger (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/31642/) - A mod that basically adds a need for your character to transform and feed every week or suffer severe detrimental effects. Unlike vampirism, in Vanilla Skyrim, being a werewolf had no motivation for transforming, especially later on as there was no downside for not transforming. This mod appears to address that and changes how you play. And if you have the Ring of Hircine, you stave off the detetrimental effects, which is lore-friendly as far as I am concerned. Werewolves Jump Higher and Farther (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/32431) -A mod gives the werewolf form a better jump ability. Makes sense since you are part animal. Werewolf Mastery (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/25392) -I've been trying to find a mod that was to werewolves what Better Vampires was to vampires. This mod is it as far as I can tell. It doesn't add a lot of new powers, but it has a new perk system (beyond Dawnguard's perks), allows you to tweak your werewolf form, revert back to human form, loot while in werewolf form and much more. I should note that I am using SkyRe, but the only werewolf changes that mod makes is the change to the Ring of Hircine, which adds armor rating and magic resistance in werewolf form.
  3. So I've been playing around with many werewolf mods and here are the ones I currently have installed: Werewolf Loot (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/9891) - While it is probably a cheat since you can equip items after your transformation, I do like how you can pick things up, loot bodies, and still feed. Very useful since constantly feeding means having to wait a long time just to loot the gear off of a bunch of bandits. Tales of Lycanthropy (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/12687) - A popular mod. Check it out. One thing I like is the uncontrolled transformations that occur with the Lunar cycle. The whole animation sequence for this is just awesome. Tales of Lycanthropy MCM menu (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/30747) - a MCM menu add-on to the above mod. Heart of the Beast (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/13779) - great sound mod for being a werewolf. The initial transformation changes are awesome. Here are some I don't have but have used in the past (and will probably put back into my game): Yet Another Werewolf Improvement (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/19924) - A great mod that re-balances the werewolf form without making any changes to anything else. The key feature it adds is making the werewolf attack ignore armor. Also adds magic resistance and redoes the life and attack damage, though not in an overpowered way. The Beast Within (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/22165) - A mod that adds some minor passive bonuses when you get certain Werewolf perks. Actually quite nice considering there is little advantage to being a werewolf besides the disease immunity and the transformation ability. Won't make you unstoppable like a Vampire Overhaul mod, but will still give some nice bonuses. Here's a new mod that just came out and I'm going to try (although I'm sure someone else has done this): Bestial Hunger (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/31642/) - A mod that basically adds a need for your character to transform and feed every week or suffer severe detrimental effects. Unlike vampirism, in Vanilla Skyrim, being a werewolf had no motivation for transforming, especially later on as there was no downside for not transforming. This mod appears to address that and changes how you play. I am definitely checking it out. I should note that I am using SkyRe, but the only werewolf changes that mod makes is the change to the Ring of Hircine, which adds armor rating and magic resistance in werewolf form. If all these mods are used together, I think playing as a werewolf can really change the dynamic of how you play the game. No longer will lycanthropy be just a simple matter of adding a greater power and an immunity to disease, but both a huge blessing and a curse at the same time, much like vampirism is. Does anyone else have any additional recommendations?
  4. Found it. I was using Immersive Armors SkyRe patch along with ReProccer when I only needed ReProccer. I also grabbed Balbor and Steelsouls SkyRe ReProccer xml File.
  5. When I gather up ingredients, I get nothing. When I highlight, say, a thistle bush and click on it, it has nothing show up. I just started over with SkyRe set up. Is there any mod that would do this or has anyone encountered this problem before?
  6. So I completely deleted and reinstalled Skyrim, added almost all the mods related to STEP, added a few more mods of my own that I wanted on top of that, and then started a new game. Everything was fine until I got to the chopping block where after the first defiant Stormcloak met his end at the chopping block, literally nothing happens. No dialogue, no shouts, no calls for my head. Here's the BOSS list of the mods I currently have. Let me know if any of them caused it or if anyone has had this problem before and what mod caused it: Skyrim.esm Update.esm Dawnguard.esm HearthFires.esm ApachiiHair.esm Lanterns Of Skyrim - All In One - Main.esm LegendarySouls.esm moonpath.esm More Interactive Items.ESM More Interactive Items [Dawnguard].ESM More Interactive Items [Hearthfire].ESM Skyrim Immersive Creatures.esm SPIKE.esm Brawl Bugs CE.esp invinciblehawkfix.esp Prowler.esp SkyrimFixes.esp Unofficial Skyrim Patch.esp Unofficial Dawnguard Patch.esp Unofficial Hearthfire Patch.esp Stolen Souls.esp BWS.esp Improved Combat Sounds v2.2.esp randomthunder.esp Fantasy Music Overhaul Redone.esp StaticMeshImprovementMod.esp Ars Metallica.esp Ars Metallica - Dawnguard.esp Ars Metallica - Hearthfire.esp Bandits Wear Helmets.esp Better Skill and Quest Books Names.esp BLESSINGS - Altar Descriptions.esp Bring Out Your Dead.esp Chesko_WearableLantern.esp ClamsDropPearls.esp dbmisc.esp DungeonQuestAwareness.esp LegendarySouls.esp Radiant and Unique Potions Poisons and Booze.esp Skyrim Immersive Creatures.esp Skyrim Flora Overhaul.esp SMDropLitTorch.esp Transmute Iron First.esp Convenient Horses.esp Auto Unequip Ammo.esp Chesko_LoreBasedLoadingScreens.esp SkyUI.esp iHUD.esp WetandCold.esp AetheriumSwordsnArmor.esp Balanced_Magic_Master_m.esp bound weapons redux.esp Cloaks.esp 1nivWICCloaks.esp 1nivWICSkyCloaksPatch.esp hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.esp Insanity's Dragonbane.esp Insanity's Kahvozein Fang.esp Insanity's Pale Blade.esp Ritual Armor of Boethiah.esp DeadlyDragons.esp BetterDarkBrotherhood.esp Gildergreen Regrown.esp moonpath_questdata.esp Run For Your Lives.esp When Vampires Attack.esp SpouseStoreMod.esp ArtifactOverhaul.esp BarbasLessAnnoying.esp Better Dynamic Snow.esp Binocular Vision For NPCs while Sneaking.esp Deadly Traps.esp dynamic fires.esp GM-CookingRebalanceFinalHearthfire.esp Guard Dialogue Overhaul.esp Immersive Weapons.esp ManlyLonghammer.esp MoreTraining_50.esp More Salt Please.esp NonEssentialChilds.esp ReadIt.esp Sickly Diseases.esp Soul Gems Differ - E.esp TheChoiceIsYours.esp TheChoiceIsYours_Dawnguard.esp Thieves Guild Requirements.esp Waterbreathing Breathless Emerge.esp Smelter_Riften & Solitude.esp Blacksmith Chests.esp CarpenterChests_Hearthfire.esp dD - Realistic Ragdoll Force - Reduced.esp Better Vampires ML.esp VampireClothingBugFix.esp Vampire Royal.esp Predator Vision.esp YetAnotherWerewolfImprovement_DG.esp MidasSkyrim.esp conjure_chest.esp Upgrade Leveled Items Spell.esp DragonSoulConverterMCM.esp DragonbornAscendant.esp DragonbornAscendantDawnguardExpansion.esp More Visible Soul Trap Effect.esp spellsneak.esp TelekinesisImproved-LessDMG.esp BetterWhitePhialEffects.esp EnchantmentOverhaul.esp ezpick.esp Realistic crime report radius.esp The Dance of Death.esp concentrated10.esp Werewolf Loot- Dawnguard version.esp Beards.esp 3DNPC.esp UFO - Ultimate Follower Overhaul.esp UFO - Dawnguard AddOn.esp UFO - Heartfire AddOn.esp Reduced Distance NPC Greetings.esp Follower Trap Safety.esp moveitLWT.esp NymSkyrimGrammarHammer.esp WATER.esp BarenziahQuestMarkers.esp Cartographers Map Markers.esp JiubQuestMarkers.esp RevampedChestLoot.esp ASIS-Dependency.esp ASIS.esp Automatic Variants.esp
  7. It looks like in this one that you'll be taking a trip to Apocrypha, Hermaes Mora's plane of Oblivion. Given some of the scenes in the trailer and the descriptions of that plane, it looks like a solid possibility.
  8. Interesting. I went ahead and ran the clean up on those files, after making my own back up of all the Main and DLC ESMs and BSAs (probably should have done that anyway). So far, nothing out of the ordinary.
  9. Anyone else notice that BOSS is detecting dirty edits now? It found some on mods, such Babette.esp and Circlet With Hoods.esp. I ran the TES5Edit fix it recommended on those. The thing is, it also found them in Update.esm, Dawnguard.esm, and HearthFires.esm. I did not clean those up since those are core Bethesda files. Any ideas on this?
  10. I've seen this issue as well. Maybe you can bring into existence via console...
  11. The topic title is really all I can say about it. As soon as I press Tab in Vampire Lord form, I get a CTD. I've removed every mod I can think of that might cause this. Has anyone encountered this kind of thing before and what do I need to do to fix it? Other than that, everything else seems to be fine in relation to the Vampire Lord form.
  12. I have an immediate CTD when I try to go to the Vampire Lord Perk tree. If anyone has any advice on how to resolve this, or any insight, it would be much appreciated.
  13. OK, I loaded an earlier save and everything worked out fine with the cutscene. Looks like I'm going to need a base save in one of my homes before I venture out and start a quest. I will note that I did have to use the console to get through the Civil War as I would show up to a Fort and there would no Imperials or Stormcloaks to fight. So I just cleared that quest and that was fine. I also had to use the console once with the final main quest as Alduin wasn't showing up after clearing the mist. I checked the stage and it was stuck on 100 so when I advanced it to 120, Alduin showed up. No problems there. Yes, console commands are a last resort, I will try and avoid them and instead load an earlier save. But sometimes there are things that are unavoidable.
  14. I ended up starting a new character, mostly because DG came out and I didn't want to play through with the buggy one. The new one has not had consistent bugs like that (although it is still buggy). It seemed to be a couple of cells in the world that had this problem. Another one was near the cave that has all Falmer just outside of Whiterun. In any case, Bethesda's solutions for it were all garbage (like reinstalling DirectX, which is impossible now), so I just got fed up with the whole mess. I completed the main questlines with that character and then just started a new one. Even managed to get the Master Criminal achievement with him before I abandoned him.
  15. I had been loading a save that was just before I read the scroll. Still had the same issue. I do have an earlier save that I may just load, although I'll lose an hour or so of play time. I guess I can try that one and redo what I did with fast travel this time around. Worse comes to worse, I may just try different console commands, but I hate doing that.
  16. I have a very bizarre and strange issue with the Alduin's Bane quest. Apparently, when I go to read the Elder Scroll, I get the whole vision thing starting, but then it ends with no vision at all. There is literally nothing going but an annoying timewarp graphic. There are no Nords, no dragons, save Paarthurnax, and it doesn't appear that I have time-traveled at all. Also, I have tried to use console commands to just advance the questline. Unfortunately, I get this weird blurry effect when I complete Alduin's Bane without fighting Alduin himself. I am at a loss for how this could be happening. Does anyone have any clue as to how I can fix this?
  17. I finished the question Lost to the Ages and I had a lot of fun doing it. The reward to the quest at the end is also well worth it. I ultimately decided on the Aetherial Crown because it is essentially a circlet that can be enchanted with a Standing Stone effect (and re-enchanted). But I'm curious as to the other items and what other people decided on and why. By the way, I've currently stored the Steed Stone in the Aetherial Crown.
  18. Wow, it has been nearly a year and this bug hasn't even been addressed by anyone as far as I can tell. I still see this problem and now that vampires are going to be more common with Dawnguard, it makes this bug all the more annoying. Seriously Bethesda? You can't fix this simple glitch?
  19. Told him it was a terrible idea to contact Mehrunes Dagon. Did he listen? No...
  20. Klimmeck and Narfi both met their deaths to vampires. No big deal, I just took credit for Narfi's demise from the Nazir and had already finished the other tasks related to both NPCs. Don't fast travel at night is all I can say.
  21. Looks like it was Recruit More Blades. The mod author released a fix.
  22. So I added a few mods (More Craftables, Crafting Meltdown, The Paarthurnax Dilemma, and Recruit More Blades) and now it seems that some merchants, such as Adranne Avenicci, now has no blacksmith-related goods for sale and no gold. I have not tried waiting or sleeping for 48 hours to see if they restock, but I was wondering if anyone has encountered this before.
  23. OK, so I've fixed the two other problems. I emptied my inventory except for the quest items, then I found the bad items and removed them with the console. I then reset my character using "resurrect", making a clean save and reloading, reacquiring the Steed Stone (you have to get another standing stone then the one you had), then manually adding in all the active effects I had that were not equipment related and did not reappear after the load (Agent of Mara will show up again after a reload from a clean save). But the other problem still persists, even after I've slept for 31 days to reset the cells. Any ideas on this? It may be a hardware issue but I'm not sure.
  24. So I have quite a few problems going on with my current Skyrim character: Right now, whenever I travel north of the Dark Brotherhood Falkreath Sanctuary (around the Roadside Ruins), I get a CTD with a event log message saying that there was an exception fault code of 0xc0000417. Not sure what to do about this. I've already tried sleeping for 31 days using the No Boring Sleep menu and this doesn't appear to have worked, although I could try again. I recently removed a bunch of mods, but now my characters inventory has some bad editor IDs in it. Is there any clean way of fixing these? I know of the removeallitems and resurrect tricks, but has anyone figured out an alternative? I had an enchanted ring with Fortify Sneak and Fortify Pickpocket on it. It seems to have disappeared (may be related to the above issue) but the active effects still remain, which is annoying. Any ideas on how to remove those active effects without using the resurrect command as that command will require me to reload all my existing active effects and perks? So that's the mess I'm in. Not a huge deal as I can still play through much of the game, but I'd like to actually have a clean character for once. These were probably caused by a bunch of mods I placed on my character but then removed later on. Among these were the Bandolier, Leather Backpack, Cloaks of Skyrim, and Winter is Coming Cloaks to name a few.
