  1. I have to agree with you on this. I've been disappointed with most of the armor mod for females so far. As much as I like it (cover only the nipples? sorry for the lang), it doesn't seem to fit not only the dragon hunting sytle, but the terrain as well. It's a COLD environment for god sake. As for you Chaos, I'd really like to see what you have in mind for the armors. I'm not a mod, but I believe if you post a little art here, eventually (maybe) a modder or two might take a liking and make them! :)
  2. Read through all your post and I find your commitment amazing (the idea too!)! I feel kinda wronged since I couldn't do anything to help! Damn. >.<

Someone PLEASE DO HELP THIS GUY!

+ Support (The only thing I could do is maybe advertise your project, hope that's ok - do tell me if you want me to put it down)

    • You pretty much only get to see the beautiful landscape in an area ONCE. After that, you tend to use the fast travel system. I think this is a shame. The developers put a lot of effort into making Skyrim a beautiful place.
    • Fast-travel means NO ENCOUNTERS. It's always 100% safe to fast-travel. You don't have to worry about getting ambushed on the way there or back for that matter.

That's why I NEVER fast travel. It feels weird and somewhat unrewarding.

Forgotten city doesn't sound logical since we do have the map. As fast travel being 100% safe, I have to agree to that. My idea would be: You can fast travel but at certain point you'll stumble upon a Hostile random encounter like, say, a Bandit ambush or a Dragon?

  3. Dwemer are not extincted, just disappeared: in Morrowind and in Oblivion was said that all dwemer's stuff didn't works outside VVanderfell. Well, in Skyrim the dwemer cities appear quite animated... Dwemer is coming?

At some point in the future that might just happen and they'll become the ultimate enemy of Tamriel. They've succeeded in making thier own god and now set to reclaim what is theirs and more.

I think it's a good idea. But what if the future is already in Skyrim? A few brilliant (lunatic) minds of Tamriel created a Sanctuary for their Dwemer-tech experiments. Two of them being fusing organics (human/mer) to Dwemer construct, and an attempt at God-hood (as the Dwemer did). The Dragonborn was captured and brought in to be experimented upon and he/she needs to find out the truth behind the experiments, stopping it and escape alive. This will create a sort of a Horror House atmosphere that resembles the future. The possability is somewhat endless ... Eery recorded voice logs which can be found throughout the Sanctuary that describe success and catastrophic failures of experiments. One notably being the explosion of Black-soul gem powered construct releasing madden souls which ate the researchers and now roaming the entire place. Children souls that had gone mad from being kept in black-soul gem for extended period of time (also one of the experiments conducted there - driving souls inside black-soul gems into madness increases the power output) ... damn >:P

I really love how they made the House of Horrors in Markarth ... >:3

  4. Are you going to make these as craftables? Love the dual wield hammers. If it's possible, having flail and morning star would be cool.

Thunderhammer and it should have "Storm Call" enchantment like "orbital strike" wargear. Anti-gravity sounds like overkill. :P

  5. It's a good idea. Creation of a commerce system that lets you make profit from certain vendors throughout Skyrim. As an item is found in abundance, the price drops and vice versa. Having a linear pricing is kinda boring ...
  6. An interesting idea. Just adding: Head pops when smashed by a warhammer (with a sick "splat" sound). There's some such in Fallout3/NV but wondering why they excluded it from Skyrim :T
  7. There's already a trample-able horse mod on SkyrimNexus. Use keyword "horse" and you'll find it.

Edit: Just for the sake of the tittle, would it be possible to create a mod where you could actually swing your sword, block with shield while mounted? That's be cool. :)

  8. If you're using a culture as reference, at least do it seriously. It might be insignificant/trivial but you don't know how people will react to it. Some might find it offensive. A mod would be a good way to rectify this sloppy work from Bethseda. Do try harder :)
  9. Just to piggy-back off of this exceptional idea, how do people feel about an optional generic "Call Dragon" shout to taunt those dovah that would rather fly in circles than challange the dragonborn?

I like this idea. It could be a shout, with a specific range, so that dragons within visual range will take notice, but you won't "summon" dragons that aren't around.

On a similar note, is it possible to make the dragons more aggressive towards the player and less towards animals, giants, NPCs, etc? If I taunted the dragon to attack me, I would be pretty pissed if it started fighting the horker that's 10 feet to my left. I remember this happening once, and I was just like "Hey, look, I'm over here. It's me, the freaking Dragonborn. If you kill me, the dragons win! So for the love of all that is holy FORGET THE F*KING HORKER AND KILL MEEEEE!"

Shout would be cool too. Learning it as you are at High Hrothgar by a book or a glyph found somewhere in the monastery. Anyway, I think my idea struck me when I was watching "How to train your dragon" cartoon. Hahaha :3

  10. That's the idea. It's like an AOE spell only that it effects dragons much like the horse call whistle. Inverting fear and roar specifically for dragons only or maybe include hostiles make it a sort of "crowd control" spell...
  11. Goal:

To ensure dragons don't take you for granted!

    Description:

Are you pissed off to a have a dragon flying above your head and not attacking!? Are you pissed off when your attempt to aggro it through shout/magic/shooting keep missing!? And are you pissed when the dragon kills your companion when you are trying desperately to save their lustrous skin!? This might be the mod for you! Bash your shield in defiance of the dragon! It will annoy them enough to come down/turn around and have your meat!

    Idea:

I remember fighting a bandit with shield in hand taunting me by bashing his shield and was wondering if it was possible to make it sort of like a casting animation where the dragonborn could taunt a flying dragon into aggro? I know there's dragonrend but that shout isn't until the dragonborn is about to rip Alduin another a**hole so there you have it. I don't know if there's already a mod(searched and could'nt find)/idea of this kind being brought up in the past but it's worth a shot. Hopefully this will catch modders attention. :)

  12. Not sure you read past the initial post. Bringing up exceptional examples (as too did I) doesn't make this designer requirement any more believable. Hell, if it was designed after Countess Jeanne de Penthièvre and Joan it would be good writing but wouldn't forget that common women wouldn't be walking around with rank as captains with men careful of saying "he or she" when discussing hypotheticals. I'm a huge fan of dissident women but outside certain tribal exceptions the "heroines" were largely gilded and not obtainable to regular women OR men. This is just common sense and I would like an ancient world that didn't appeal to modern PC norms. Bring on the Celtic warrior women and make them ugly as sin! Bring on the horrible elitist French General women sending their miserable men into death! Most definitely bring on the outraged African slave woman turned pirate leader!............ but the 50/50 equal society stuff is unnecessary (I think) to roping paying women into buying the game.

You do have a point...I mean racism is rampant in Skyrim, yet it seems they shy away from sexism. Of course both racism and sexism should be frowned upon IRL, however this is as mentioned fantasy, and based on a land where sword, magic, and superstition rule.

Skyrim is set in a world where the Thalmore ripped the Empire a new a**hole and outlawed the worship of Talos. The Red Mountain exploded and cause Skyrim to be polluted by black-deadric-worshipping mers who aren't tourists. Outsiders coming in unchecked enforcing thier will. If my mind are anything near sane I would say "racism" is unavoidable and "sexism" actually brought them together. Believably? I would rather trust my sister in Nord blood than a Highelf claiming he/she loves and will die for SKyrim. Just my 2cent. :3
