I guess no one cares that the Valenwood Improved mod is very buggy ...

I checked her profile yesterday and found that she's been BANNED. I suspect we won't be seeing her again ...

Console commands: TFOW (toggle fog of war) TMM (toggle map markers)

So .. the Skyrim console commands are no different than the Oblivion console commands? Everything mentioned in this thread is the same, anyway. here's a link to the wiki - http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Console

Ok I'm ignoring skyrim because I always ignore new software until after the first (or maybe second) service pack is released and if I have to get skyrim from steam, then I'll never get it.

Porting content from other games

Sounds to me as if any mod might be construed as illegal - 'ported' or not. -
Bethsoft's modelers need to go back to basic drawing 101. The Community modders are much better at making things for the games. Nudity is natural, and should be treated that way. The only reason the children and teenagers snicker is because the grownups and parents teach that nudity is embarrassing and the politicians make laws forbidding it. It's all kinda sad. So .. nudity in Skyrim? I don't care. If there is it's ok. If not that's ok too.

Oblivion Crashes after reinstalling
stephanie replied to Delman99's topic in Oblivion's Mod troubleshooting
Do NOT Install Oblivion in program files. Make a new folder for it. I use C:\Oblivion. Uncheck all mods so they're inactive. Load Oblivion with NO MODS. Don't load with OBSE. Plain oblivion doesn't need it Does it work ok now? -
Summer is always hot where I live. No difference this year ..

For some reason I'm not being notified when a post is added to this topic. Guess I better check in more often .. I've been wandering thru the uploaded files today and can't find any of the NUDE body replacer mods. Where can I find them? Has the site owner finally banned them? Is nudity acceptable anywhere? *looks around to see if anyone is watching me* *thinks about running thru the forums naked* *decides not to ..* sad.

I think it should be as it has been since Morrowind and the 'Better Bodies' mod was released. Let the modders do it. People like exnim, robert, eshme, and a few others have created bodies for Oblivion that are very realistic, a pleasure to work with, and it's easy to make clothing for them. Bethsoft would just throw something together that would need to be changed to make it look right anyway. I vote to have no nudity from Bethsoft in the released Skyrim game. We can do it better. Let the prudes have what they've always had - bland games with no realism. Steff :)

I'm working on it ...

Who was that masked modder? -
I've just recently returned to the modding world, so I was wondering if anyone still uses Roberts Female besides me. I think I want to put a new clothing mod together for Roberts body.. Any interest in this?

I've used Kvatch Rebuilt. It's a good mod.<br><br>Ohh. It's not "against the rules" to post in an old thread if you have something to add. <br><img src="http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/smile.gif" class="bbc_emoticon" alt=":)">

Striker879 is right. If a clothing or armor piece goes invisible, it usually means that something in the nif is not parented properly or there is more than one Scene Root in the nif. It might be that the texture has no mipmap. Textures might be in the wrong folder. There are probably other reasons, but these are the most common. How do I fix that, you ask? Be sure everything is in the proper folders. Usually when you install a mod everything goes to the right places. If not, you have to investigate and find out where the install went wrong. If something is wrong with the nif, there's nothing you can do unless you can load it up in Blender and see what's wrong, then fix it. The original modder should do this. Same with mipmaps for the testures. Based on your last post I think you should reinstall oblivion and then reinstall your mods. Also you could try a new game. The save you're using might be corrupted.

^This. I'd definitely feel loved. I imagine that they've probably played with mods. I mean, they add the ability to load them in the game, they'd wanna see what cool shiz their fans could make, right? Some had to have used Midas Magic and thought to themselves, "Whoa! This is awesome! Why wasn't this in the game before!? We should contact the dev....." But in all seriousness, they know we're here and they've shown their love by saying they'll release a kit with it. In Oblivion "Credits" is just a text file. You can put it in yourself. I remember when Oblivion first came out I saw a lot of the best 'mods' from Morrowind in it. Chairs you can sit in, horses you can ride, sandals, and a bunch of other stuf. I think Todd and the guys have already seen the best of Oblivion's mods and have already put them in Skyrim. One thing that was missing in Oblivion that I liked was levitation. Morrowind had it, but it didn't get into Oblivion. Maybe it'll be in Skrim .. I hope they do something with those clunky default bodies we had in Oblivion. If it weren't for Robert, Exnim, and a few others Oblivion would be a mess.

As long as we can make clothing mods and have a construction set to get them ingame I'll be happy. Otherwise I won't buy it. :)
