  1. Happy first birthday Skyrim! Can I just say huge thanks to the community as a whole. I think of all the vanilla Bethesda games like sinking ships. Vast and beautiful yet slowly going under as the hull is riddled with many leaks. The mod makers comes along and plug up the holes. Not just the holes, a complete renovation and more, making the vessel glide more gracefully than the developers could ever imagine. We are just one year in I cant even imagine what goodies we will see in another year! The Nexus ROCKS!!!!!!
  2. I am fairly decent at drawing so if you need some concepts done (based on descriptions and or reference pictures) I will gladly help. Some artwork showing ideas might convince others to help! But very best of luck with this, sounds really epic!
  3. This mod is looking really good. I remember a similar one for Max Payne 2- in an early version when you performed the bullet dodge from certain angles Max's head would come into view. A later version fixed it so when in first person the playermodels head was gone and the camera set at eye height. Dont know if this helps in anyway for ideas to get the archery working. Keep up the great work on it.
  4. @Celebritron - I thought about lowering my lighting fade distance but I would have to alter it everytime I go outside. The lighting mod works fine outdoors just not inside. The thing is the Darker interiors mod worked fine before, I uninstalled it to try another one because I was having random stuttering issues. I thought the random stuttering was because of this mod ( the stuttering seems to happen when I enter interiors after being outside for a while). The stuttering only stops if I exit to desktop and load the game again- I have to do this quite often, I tried out some other lighting mods but the stuttering persisted so I reinstalled the Realistic lighting mod and now the dungeons are only dark around the player. This is why I think it is something to fo with load orders. I have tried loading Realitic lighting first, last and inbetween- no difference. Im thinking I might reinstall but I'd rather not have to!
  5. Will try disabling all mods like you said. I have tried messing about with load orders but no luck. Thanks for the reply
  6. I have been using Realistic lighting Interiors only and Realistic Lighting Exteriors only in my game and I get this weird problem. It only happens when Im inside- the mod only darkens the area imediately around me. If Im in a large cave, Im shrouded in darkness but the far wall is lit like the vanilla game - very much lighter. Its really killing my imersion being able to see stuff in the distance then when I walk up to it, its in darkness. Is there a setting in the Ini file that would apply to this problem? I have tried True Darker Dungeons and the same problem applies. The Darker Nights Exteriors works fine. Both mods are fantastic, making the game infinitely better but there is just this small problem. Anyone else having the same problem?
  7. Im working on a personal mod for myself but if its any good I plan to release it on the Nexus to give something back to this amazing community. Im changing all the the dungeon music to some of John Williams film scores, but Im not just converting mp3s to use in game I am re-editing all the tracks. The finished edited tracks will be very different to the originals, sections cut and looped ect. What I want to know is will I be able to upload them?
  8. Its pretty cold in Skyrim, why does everyone wear short sleeved clothing? The male fur "armour" is more like something a stripper would wear! I would love to see a mod that overhauls the skimpier armours, or failing that a clothing/ armour mod that has actual winter aparel- Fur coats, scarves, wraps, gloves ect.
  9. Very good idea. If you ever played Red Dead Redemption you could skin the animals leaving a skinless corpse. It was quite grim, leaving fleshy masses of animals all over the place! Same thing should apply to if you fire ball/ ice ball something to death then it should appear charred/ icey. I cannot do theses things myself but there is a lot of talent out there...
  10. If you kill someone at a camp and this npc owns a bed, the bed should be useable by yourself. Same applies to everything in game, so if someone owns a house and they die or you kill them then the ownership changes to you. For example if you play with "all npcs killable" and take out the Jarl of Whiterun and survive then the castle becomes yours! If this mod did exist alongside all npcs killable then harsher crimes would need to apply. I think it would require a bit of thought so it wouldnt unbalance the game too much. Might require a crime system overhaul, but thats something else to think about.
  11. Thats the plan! releasing song packs like the radio stations from Fallout 3, just to add a little flavour to the game. I will check the links you gave me, many thanks
  12. Its the actual performance music Im interested in. I want to use my own music that a friend and I wrote for the guitar. I realise that the current content is like you say, tied to a specific animation script. At this stage all I want to do is change the audio, I dont really care if the animation is out of sync! Maybe down the line I would like to script the animation to sync. I know a somebody took a morrowind song out, so if you can take stuff out then surely you can put stuff in! Thanks for replying btw!
