Thanks for the heads-up, Nice to know its being worked on, I wonder whats causing it, it started before sandy hit, (way before), so I don't think its that. I might become premium, I use this series of sites for pretty much all my modding needs, If they can take interact direct payments online, I'm all for it.

Well part fo the reason why is probally because the steam workshop for skyrim, then people who make those mods let them know about Nexus. 4+ million people play steam daily, that can cause a shitton of traffic. Also wow 3k? best I seen was around 2000.

I am wondering whats wrong with the nexus lately, a week or 2 ago I never had any trouble, but lately I can never get any mods to download, they keep timing out, fs1 server says mods are hidden 90% of the time (even though they aren't), Downloading mods via NMM is not really working either, they keep timing out especally if its FS1. Is anyone else having problems? or is it just me an dmaybe how I am routed to the server is messed up atm. I could just download them manually as I am used to this, but, I kinda like how NMM keeps track of what mods you installed, where the files are (for easy uninstall), and notifies me of any updates to my mods. Then again I can rarely if ever even get manual downloads of mods to start, especally ones where you don't get the sever selection prompt for where you wanna download it from. Anyway, is this just a problem I am having? or are others having issues like this do? Server that seems to screw up the most for me is http://fs1.nexusmods.com/ P.s. Nexus guys, it'd be lovely if you could put in a auto resume/auto retry feature into Nexus Mod Manager for when issues like these pop up, as it is now if the file fails to download you have to manually remove it from the queue, go to the mod page and try again.

So I have an issue with skyrim crashing, most of the times the second it htis 1.8gb of system ram used it will crash. even though I have 8 gigs installed, and skyrim is supposedly LAA so it should be able to use twice that. it all started after I installed SkyTEST, even after removing it, its still doing it, I would do a clean save with no mods but i'd lose quite a bit of stuff, too much stuff to make a console restore viable, though the house I have from build your own home I could just use console commands to get the items needed to rebuild it.. I guess maybe I should, but if I use a race mod like Dagi-raht should I leave that checked? The odd thing is when it *crashes* just the graphics freeze but the music seems unaffected.

Are they gonna fix the mouse pointer overlapping the game window when you alt+tab out without opening console first? because that crap is really annoying, only way to fix it if you forget to open the console is to reload skyrim.

Already used BOSS still crashes on load, all I have is Oblivion, knights of the nine, shrouded isles, thieves den, wizards tower, orrnery, spell tomes, vile lair, Horse armor pack, and Mehrunes razor. No unoffical mods yet, wanted to make sure the base game works, what happens is when I hit play/launch OBSE, it starts to load the window for oblivion, starts to show the bethesda video.. then it just crashes. Tried without obse, and with, crashes both ways. I think it doesn't like something on my pc. Also.. gonna download your knights of the nine revelation mod as well once I get this working, it looks good. Edit: I got it to work, for some reason deleting my Oblivion.ini, then relaunching the launcher and redoing my settings made the game work, weird isin't it?

Hi there, I just installed oblivion, SI, updated to the most recent patch, then installed night of the nine and the other dlc's, well I have a problem.. the second I run oblivion it instanmtly crashes, Have not added any mods to it yet other than the offical stuff. Any idea what may be causing it? I installed it to C:/Oblivion as well, so its not a its in program files-type issue, UAC and such is shut off as well so its not that either. Any help be apprecated.

Hi all I am thinking of playing oblivion again, kinda getting boreds of skyrim with all the features it lacks compared to oblivion, anyway, I am looking for some mods to make the game more fun. I will list what types I am looking for.. I have oblivion and all dlcs/expansions. Going to be starting a entirely new char, preferablly fo a cute female custom race, byt vanallia bretons work too. Overhauls, really looking for the best general overhaul there is, that changes perks, combat, magic, new dungeons and items and all other aspects kinda like skyrim redone for skyrim. Realistic leveling to use with said overhaul, or some mod so I don't have to watch what skills i raise to get the stats I want on level up. Graphical mods, I have a fairly decent pc (i5-2310, 8gb ram geforce gtx560 1gb) So come at me bro/sis, looking for world, critter and race graphical mods, especally one that makes the female chars not look like they hit every branch in the fugly tree. Looking for a race mod that adds a new race to the game that has a cute/hot female version, preferably that has some useful racials. Mod that makes vampires not so stupid/annoying to be, Stuff like no sun damage (but maybe weakened stat bonuses while in sunlight) be stronger when fed (why oblivion/skyrim is the opposite is beyond me, vamps in history/lore always are stronger when fed and weaker when starving) I knwo there was one mod where, your blood capacity would go up as you fed so you'd have to feed less often and your vampire bonuses would get stronger as it passed certan thresholds, it also, had something that controled how fast you use up the blood over time, as you fed less you need to feed less often and such. Also need a vamp mod so I can retain my chars normal apparence, except maybe the eyes. Bascally other than these looking for mods that removes some fo the annoyences of the game, like collecting alch ingredients, mods that make stuff like potions that are playermade weightless. A UI mod be nice too but I am probally going to use darnified UI, I am pretty sure I used this UI before. Any suggestions will be checked otu especally if you post a link to it on the nexus or whereever the mod is located at. Thanks all for helping to make my oblivion experence better. P.s. I'd also like a mod that lets you continue playing after the main quest, kinda like the fallout 3 one you used to need before I think broken steel..

I am looking for a mod that when I become a vampire it does not alter my appeance at all, whether it be a normal vampire or a vampire lord. Maybe change eye colors is ok (I like those red eyes) but other than that I'd like my char to not have her look changed. Does a mod like this exist?

I'm a fan of project nevada, doesn't do much in the way of quests, but it changes a lot of the core game mechanics, introduces cybernetic implants u can install and take out for a fee, new weapons and armor, and its also compatable with some of the mods like Weapon mods expanded (WMX) by Antistar and other things. I like fellout NV too removes the orange haze on everything, but on the downside it makes the nights so dark you can't see much. I also like the reinforced chinese stealth armor mod, adds a few quests, that in the end nets you a really nice stealth armor with a dt of 18 or so, and it also has some addones like shoulder/waist armor and helmets of varing types. Makes it a great altenative to power armor. Project Nevada also comes with a ingame mod config menu that you can change most of the settings to your liking.

Hey all I am thinking of playing FO3 again, can someone suggest some good mods? Something that makes the fully auto weapons actually do decent damage, more weapons, armor, etc.

Just now I seem to be unable to get in game, when I hit contronue or choose to load a save it goes to the loading screen with the roulette wheel and the background changing, then it goes not responding and I have to ctrl+alt+del and close the game. The odd thing is when its not responding the backgrounds still change. Here is my mod load order maybe I need to shuffle some stuff around? Hey all I am getting fcom but I also have misc mods and I am wondering where to shove them in the load order. These are: DZ auto Harvest and Full harvest (both don't change any scripts or items so these should be ok anywhere), Mida's Magic, and Might Magic reborn ad well as Mida's Mighty reborn, Reneer's guard overhaul, Automagic bags, and Big Bag (Big bag is a strx100 enc mod). Also thinking of getting this: Advanced Selective leveling. or some other leveling mod. Thanks all.

No problem my friend ^^ Ahh I am kinda looking for a magic bag mod, I know there is one that has 0 weight and anything u put into it essentally becomes weightless. There is a spell in Midas Magic that You cast and a chest appears you can put as much as you want in it and it never goes away its infinate maybe you can use that?? Hmm that could work, especally with the inventory is a bag mod. could drop the bag into the chest to xfer everything then just pick what i want out of the chest. since I tend to be a bit of a packrat lol. I found the item I wanted for alch ingredients it was DZ auto Harvest, coupled with another mod that makes every plant 100% harvest rate (even ones added by mods) Also found Automagic Bags which was what I was looking for and a Str encumberce x100 mod too.

hey all I am thinking of installing Oblivion again and well i could use some mods, here are what I am looking for: FCOM and links to dl everything I need. Thats the main mod, now so other mods I am looking for 1: Something to make magic actually strong, I wanna be able to wipe out an entire room if my mana pool is large enough 2: A mod so I always get max stats at level up, as well as a level increaser and a mod so I can go above 100 skill, maybe that mod that lets u go till 300 alch and has tools for it too. and that one that makes your stats change based on your current skills. 3: A mod that auto loots/picks alchmey mats, long as it doesn't steal them. 4: A bag i can use to store stuff (since the UI gets laggy if u have to many items in bag) as well as a mod that lets me carry a obscene amount of weight 5: A mod so that when i murder someone or steal a guard doesn't come from half the city away to arrest me when i was inside someones basement or house. 6: a Better UI ^^ 7:.. well any other mod you can suggest that will make the game more fun to play is welcomed. Alright so I finished the game, go into broken steel now I am stick on the view map thing with rothchild, I've tried all the fixes avail, the unoffical fallout 3 patch etc and nothing has worked. How the hell did this bug get past bethesda? did they even bother to test their poo before they release it? any console command I can get to advance the quest?

Really? Why does it only seem to happen with fallout 3. seems kinda odd to only be having this problem with 1 game.. Also with Fo3Edit how can i move the load order around to try to fix some conflicts?

I love fallout 3 but I have some problems. for one when playing the game it'll randomly reboot my pc with no apparent error, I've tried vanalla unmodded, i've tried modded, i've tried updatign vid card drivers and direct X, I just can't figure it out. This is on top of the game randomly CTDing with a fallout3.exe error every 30-60 mins in vanallia or modded. I have np problems with other games it just seems to be this one, even oblivion runs for longer.. (though it still ctd's way to much for how long its been out.) My first thought was overheating, but I have played other games with better graphics than fallout 3 that tend to have MUCH more going on and can play them for 12+ hours straight with 0 issues. Any suggestions? Some of my Pc Specs: Pentium D 805 2.66ghz dual core, 2gb Ram, Geforce 8800 GT 512 MB, Soundcard is a built in one on the motherboard.

Hmm well Did all you suggested doesn't BSOD as often but it still does. Btw I can play other games that use this same engine and never have this issue, so it seems to be a Fallout 3 problem. I mean I guess I could play out of vats but full auto weapons are totally worthless without it. a 3 shot burst in vats does more than shooting the same guy 20 times outside of vats even at close range. Maybe i'll try downloading one of those overclock things, and use it to set the fan to 100% power when playing Fo3 to see if it IS a overheating issue or not. It just seems odd that 99% of the time this happens its always when I go to use VATS to target something.

Hmm any reason why going back on the driver? I also don't see why fo3 would cause my card to overheat, i've played other games that were far more graphicaly intensive and it was fine. But I'll try it after i reinstall Fo3.

Already used Fo3Edit and made a merged patch no conflicts detected.
