Maybe I should just remove that mod completely and see if that makes any difference. Appreciate your help. Hopefully together we can get to the root of this.

Hm, actually doesn't seem like I have that ini option to begin with. Pretty sure I changed that as you said but I can't seem to find it. Would having the mod installed on it's own cause lagg? Because in game the mod seems to be 'working'.

I'm sorry Purr4me but I can't make any sense out of anything you're saying. Hands of time and commitment? You lost me. Not sure if you're trying to indicate that if I don't understand what you're saying I just 'lack commitment' but I can assure you that is not the case. I spent many hours myself before coming here as I'm a firm believer that one should do the best they can before asking for help. I've used the Nexus for many years and met some of the best this site has to offer (some of which are close friends to me today) but sadly none of them mod Fallout 4. Don't take this the wrong way but I feel that you're saying a lot of things that mean the same thing without any real substance. Which makes it really difficult for me trying to find a decent solution as this is a subject I'm not very confident in, which is once again the reason I'm here asking for help. Hey Purr4me! Glad you're here and I'm super grateful for your time. I will admit that was a bit difficult to understand as I'm not familiar with that type of 'troubleshooting'. I've mostly used loot/wrye/and at times FNVEDIT or the Editor for Skyrim and when things have gotten to a point where I feel I don't have any clue what I'm doing I've searched for help here. Could you help me dumb it down so it'd be easier for me to understand? Changing something you tell me to do or removing a specific mod that you think is bad or tweaking an INI file would be a lot easier for me to do. But of course I totally understand that not always being the option that is required. Looking forward for your response. /Murk

Could you be more specific? If you mean checking for errors and conflicts then yes and CTD's isn't my problem but poor performance such as big fps loss within central boston.

I somehow really doubt that, no offense m8. As I also have ran the Beta but rolled back to the previous version as it broke shadow-boost. I saw no impact on performance.

(SOLVED!) Rykea on page 3 pointed out that 'Fallout 4 HD Reworked Project Revised' is brutal for all setups to handle even though it's a mod aimed for good performance. I'm experiencing poor performance within central boston and especially when fights occur. The game is capped to 61 fps and I'm using both Enboost and Shadowboost. Located the mod causing the CTD's. It's JSawyer Ultimate edition. Perhaps I have a mod that it conflicts with, I am not certain but it is now solved. I also did as you said Ladez and merged some stuff so I got down to 138 plugins. Thanks for your help.

Idiotic question coming from me here now but how would I go about removing inactive plugins? I'm super rusty but in the past I recall just searching for them in the DATA directory and removing them from there? Gotta say though it feels a bit weird getting 'guided' from father elijah.

I don't recall playing with less mods than what is listed here. so the game won't work above 139 plugins you say? thanks for helping me out anyhow. mods that aren't ticked or plugins that aren't ticked, can they pose a danger to my setup even if they're not active etc? /krow900

Hey guys & gals. I've recently gotten back into modding and everything is working fine except my INI & Prefs are possibly the reason why my game gets these really ugly looking Shadows. So far it's only indoors (I think, not certain) and it's really frustrating and hard to look at. Any ideas what could be causing this? I will be posting my Load-order as well as my prefs/ini. Okay thanks again for your kind reply mr Rabbit. It seems to have fixed itself after running LOOT again. I believe it was me missing to place my Bash patch lowest in the load-order. Thanks.

Hi guys & thanks for taking the time to read my post, hopefully you can help me out somehow. I've recently started modding my Skyrim again with a fresh install & set of new mods + a brand new save that took quite some time to setup. However while playing I've noticed that after dying & being forced to load a save (happened recently around the Western Watch Tower that the first dragon attacks) I'll get a random CTD after playing a rough estimate of 40-60 minutes which is very frustrating since i don't wanna simply " adjust " and keep restarting since this is not acceptable & i wish to know what the issue is because last when i played Skyrim i could go for hours without it screwing me over (if ever). Answers are immensly appreciated so please don't read my post & then just close it because you aren't to certain what could be causing it, come with suggestions even if you are skeptical if they would help.
