  1. So I recently became a FO4 Nexus Modder and didn't know about Donation Points until I came across it when putting the mod up. However, something occurred to me while tracking the progress of my mod. I noticed that my mod was doing rather well in the trending list and realised there was a mod lower in the list (therefore less featured) but it had significantly more unique downloads - than mine at the time - but I had more Endorsements. So this indicates that Endorsements count for more in the trending list equation than Unique Downloads? I realised that this might affect the popularity of certain mods - Pushing something further up the trending list may persuade a user to download - and lower down the list therefore might potentially be less favoured for download. This may ultimately mean that Endorsement Driven mods will do better and adversely affect Donation Points down the chain. Now correcting this - in this example where Unique Downloads win out, might mean I would actually lose out isn't the point - Surely as stated "has to be reasonable" its about fairness? - which is stated in the Donation points Facts Quote "Unique download counters are perhaps the most objective metric we have on this site and are a direct representation of the popularity of a file" I hope I have explained it well enough and my point makes sense? ;) Edit: I have some pretty compelling evidence of this, I did a screen grab this pm illustrating the point if you're interested? - in it it shows that Lara Croft from Rise of the Tomb Raider Mod is not in the top 5 trending list - yet has more Unique Downloads than two of the mods that are on the Trending Five list Please note I have no affiliation with LCFROTTR mod or the author - that being said I am a Fan of the Game
  2. Well I'm leaving a comment but I never win anything on these sort of things! :/
  3. Of course it is (signed 32 bit integer ) but something ought to be in the CK page, the warning doesn't really explain it well enough. Like you have said on a few occasions, just because you can doesn't mean your should
  4. Sheesh, I was wondering where that misinformation was coming from! Read here. I have troubleshooted dozens and dozens of users who's savegames were totally messed up because of extreme settings like those! Just because a few people report that the settings didn't break THEIR game doesn't mean it won't break YOURS, heh. @steve40, I read a very good explanation of the problem that you gave somewhere in the forums. Can't seem to find it now. I am curious as to why on the linked page (CK) they're showing a max of 2147483647 and you're recommending 2457600 as max. Maybe that needs clearing up? http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/913555-what-are-dumping-stacks-wet-cold-problem/&do=findComment&comment=7982319
  5. Well Kudos to you bro  Someone provided very useful in-depth assistance completely selflessly and I simply wanted to give Kudos to him in the forums. Its strange that this feature is hidden away like that but thanks to you I found it. It should really be available in the forums though because that's where I find it most warranted!
  6. Where has the Kudos gone? I can see the amount of Kudos people have in their posts but don't see anyway to add it to someone. I would be grateful of someone's help with this? Cheers
  7. Is/does anyone from the Nexus team want to comment... err give feedback on this?
  8. Over the past few days I've experienced really, really slow connections to Nexus, getting bad gateway's and unable to load pages, missing images and failed to connect links, All mainly appertaining to SkyrimNexus. I tried to find a page regarding current issues and maintenance - if all this is currently known and due to maintenance etc.. I would be grateful if someone could point me to a link so I can Bookmark it for the future. Maybe I just couldn't see the wood for the trees but couldn't find anything referenced on the front page. Apologies if this is the wrong place to post this but again I couldn't find an appropriate place to raise it. PS I have a fast FibreOptic (100mbps) BB so shouldn't really see anything so slow. Everywhere else ont' interwebz I generally don't E.G. 16.30 GMT http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/newrecently/ After 1m 20s got> 504 Gateway Time-out http://skyrim.nexusmods.com//? Getting > 500 Internal Server Error
  9. Did you get an answer to this - do you now know how to use them?
