  1. Doubt it, you can create multiple of the same object with one recipe ( like two silver rings at once for one silver ingot ). Haven't seen anything with two different objects.
  2. That's how you do that for more then one word, for the help command. I been searching all over the web for a way to do that.
  3. Your'e mod list is almost as long as mine, I had the same thing happen to me but with different items. I found random skeleton parts when I looted and found out it is for crafting items. So your's could possibly be the same. See if you can use the items at a smelter, tanning rack, or as ingredients.
  4. You seem to have a good staring point, using Latin names should keep it lore friendly like you've done. The best way to keep your story going smoothly is make kind of a story board to lay out everything. I am currently working on writing my own anime shows, and story's can get confusing if it's not all planned before you start writing scripts. If you are going to have it where your'e trying to obtain information, adding some Thieves Guild kind of side quest might help keep with the feeling of the other factions. Just like small details about the Fallen Order, have like a series of notes placed across Skyrim. One thing I have found out in writing original story's is keep them yours'e, (the way you want them ) from what I've read in your post it should be lore friendly.
  5. For the NPC's, it should be in the A.I. data, and to make a follower you set it in there factions. I am still new to scripting so I can't help you there, when I run into a problem I check the Creation Kit Wiki, they seem to have a tutorial for everything.
  6. Looks right, I only downloaded a few from steam around 5 months ago. I would think that all you have to do is unsubscribe and uninstall them, which is one reason I quit using steam is I don't have an archive to look for the file paths, like I do with mods I download from Nexus. If your'e unsubscribed from a steam mod and installed one form Nexus then it should just over write the steam mod.
  7. I used to be a 360 and a PS3 fan, all games I now play are on pc (can't beat the mods or the console commands ). 360 controllers are good to use on pc long as it is a Microsoft controller, I used one till it died. Starting over on pc would be a completely different and better experience then a 360 play through, I've done it for Fallout 3.
  8. The only way I know how you can do this is by making a new race and have your'e character be the only one in that race.
  9. Glad to help. My mod is up, I am working on an update that turn's hair into helmets (if I can get the vanilla meshes to look somewhat better). DartHairColors
  10. First that is an awesome looking avatar picture. I am also trying to do something the same, if I find out how I'll come back and tell you.
  11. Whats up again, I just tested them and they work perfectly for me. The spell tomes where easy to find right where you said they would be. The spells work, 2 firewood for each cast, and 1 lockpick for each cast, they went straight to my inventory. The animation works for them, it all seems good. The firewood is good, for some reason I never remember the form ID for firewood so that one is real useful for me. When I finish using an armor instead of storing it I just sell it and if I want to wear it again I just remake it, so I am always crafting armor and weapons.
  12. I am currently testing my mod so I am going back in forth to the game so I can test them for ya, and get back to you shortly.
  13. Whats up Alex. The best tutorials I found is on the Creation Kit Wiki. It is possible to add custom meshes to a custom NPC, not sue at the moment how. I think you might have to make a new race, to do that. Making NPC's actually ain't all that hard, click on ACTORS to open up the sub menus, then click on the first Actors menu. When you see a list of all the NPC's in the game, right click on any of them and select new. That will pop up a new window that lets you create your'e NPC. To create a race I'm think its almost the same Just go to the race list and right click new. When I get back into the Creation Kit I'll look around in it and see where you add your'e custom meshes. For your NPC there are certain factions you have to set them up to, It depends on if you want the NPC to just be a NPC, or if you want them to follow you. When I get on the Creation Kit I'll look for the factions to see which ones you would need. Also under the ID form and name, I think the only box you need to check is UNIQUE. To add your'e NPC to the game, go to the Cell View box, find where you want to add them, then drag and drop your'e new NPC where you want them.
  14. I'm using an 07 Acer Aspire, I have around 4 gigs left on my hard drive, AMD Athlon Processor, and 3 gigs of DDR2 Ram. For Skyrim I have around 90 active mods, some from adding one weapon to larger mods like AOM, or School of witchcraft and Wizardry ( think that's what it's called ). They slowed the game down a little but not a lot, I do have to play on low graphic setting though or there is to much lag, but that's because my computer is at it's limit. With your system specs ( and the I-7 don't hurt ) you should be fine with any mod or number of mods.
  15. The best would probably be at - http://www.creationkit.com/Category:Tutorials. They seem to have tutorials for everything you need.
  16. On the wiki there should be a complete or at least a large list of console commands.
  17. You are awesome! You fixed it, the hair is perfect! The decals where the problem, I was about to redo the entire mesh in Blender and add it to new bones and completely rewrite the .nif file in NifSkope. Here's what it looks like now. Thank you again, I will make sure that everyone who downloads my mod, knows that you made the update possible. O the way I originally did DartHairColors is: made the colors, added them to the HairColorFormList, then went to each race and added the colors to their available hair colors. I had to do that for all races (vanilla) and to each gender of that race. All of the files are .esp's didn't think that making them master files would help. I never heard of an inherits list, what is it. Also ThrottleKitty any request for hair color ( multi-colored, or highlights) just ask, and I'll make them for ya. Thanks again for all your help, and thank you for everyone else all responses helped me understand Photoshop and NifSkope better.
  18. The mesh is hair01 for female, and the textures are - textures\actors\character\hair\apachii\newsea\battlermale2_n.dds, textures\actors\character\hair\apachii\battlemare2_ice.dds
  19. The best way when installing a lot of mods is doing them a few at a time, so if one gives you a problem you will have a shorter list of which one it is. I have Jaysus Swords, and used to have Weapons of the Third Era, and Morrwind Armor installed and they never gave me a problem. The others, probably the best thing to do is check compatibility in the mod description. That and make sure your computer can handle it, If I installed all of the graphics mods my computer would lag bad ( I using an 07 acer aspire with 10 gigs left on my harddrive and only 3 gigs of ddr2 ram).
  20. Thank you, you are awesome! First after installing the newer version of NifSkope, everything works, better then before. I felt stupid cause I forgot I changed the file path in the Creation Kit for the hair mesh and textures so I kept working on the wrong .nif file. After I applied everything you said the hair color is perfect, just like it looks in NifSkope. The hair is still transparent even after setting my characters hair to shaved. New screenshot of what it looks like now. Once I get the transparency fixed and get the update posted I will definitely give you credit in my mod description for making this update possible.
  21. Ya the hair works great as normal hair its the first hairstyle in ApachiiSkyHair. Thanks for a quick response. About the mesh not showing up, I was just wandering if the textures could load but not the mesh, because that could explain the transparency, though if a mesh doesn't load I normally get that giant " ! " sign or invisable armor. O I just found out that I needed a Nif.xml, file to look at the shader flags. That's what kept messing me up, but now when I look at em it erases the Value and puts it at 0. Also the list is blank, when I check a box nothing happens.
  22. Thanks Throttlekitty for you response, it helped me understand NifSkope and kind of how things work in it, but unfortunitly I wasn't able to fix it. I searched threw everything in the file and couldn't find anything to do with hair, and the vertex colors didn't change anything. Another thing could it be the mesh not showing up in game, just the textures, not sure if that's possible but that would explain both my problems. With out the mesh the texture would be transparent and the background/game engine could change the colors.
  23. Chrome is what I usually use, it's good for normal downloads. But for special downloads and videos I use Internet Explorer, Chrome doesn't do special downloads good. I have downloaded one mod with manager using Chrome I tried a few others and it didn't work, same with RealPlayer downloads. So good chance its Chrome, try using a different browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox.
  24. I went through most if not all armor for UNP and some armor for CBBE and haven't seen it. There is one mod that's close it's called Ivory Hunter, Its kind of like dragon bone armor and has skeleton hands over the chest and crouch. That's the closet thing I've seen to what you described.
  25. Thanks Vandrath, I was thinking that Skyrim was making the colors darker but wasn't sure. I tested to see if my textures where messed up in Photoshop but everything looks right. I also tried this with the normal textures that Apachii uses for the hair and their still transparent so that just leaves I set up something wrong in the Creation Kit or the Nif file not set up right. I am going to check everything in NifSkope again, and try to set the hair helmet differently in the Creation Kit. Thanks for the help man.
