  1. Armor of Diligence actually uses the real Dwarven heavy armor design made up by BioWare's concept artists, and you can tell by looking at the armor variant's textures that it follows the same aesthetic pattern other Dwarven things do, only the silver tint is off, it should be bronze-tan and reddish brown like the Dwarven Massive Armor. All guards around Orzammar in Heavy Armor are using a human design. There was a mod that put Bhelen in a newly textured armor called "Paragon's plate", which is based on Steel Golem textures. Might be something you'd like. Otherwise Bhelen's armor could be a more regally textured version of the regular Dwarven massive. Carta could use the DA:2 light Dwarven armors imported by Loincloth Fashion.
  2. What mods are you using and what armors/weapons do your party members and character have equipped? Depending on the mod, some items might make your game more unstable regardless of a 4GB Patched .exe or not. I've encountered the issue with some of the RL's Fashion Bazaar and Swan Song armor sets.
  3. @vBrumenn, Haha, actually, I figured out how to export it with a different tool. There are Blender scripts for DA II that work fine for Origins since both games use the same engine, and thus register the exact same file types. I just don't have too much free time on my hands at the moment unfortunately to fix some placement bugs the model I made had. If you've already made the mesh and it's ready though, that's great news. As far as permissions go, I thought I might mention that if ShepShy has not been active for several months, it should be okay to release the modified hair for private use so as long as the original author is credited in a readme accompanying the download, as well as a PM about it for whenever they come back. If you are really unsure, you might check with Nexus staff about it.
  4. I thought I might mention this to those who want to force alternate captcha login, and block Google coockies, and thus bypass Google and it's obsession with data mining: If you go to Internet Options>Security>Restricted Sites, and then click the "sites" bar, and then erase whatever is in the bar by default, and type "Google.com", you can block most Google cookies. Most regular Google services such as search and YouTube will still work however, but Google is limited in what it can store about your browsing. I failed the backup text captcha about 6 times before logging in successfully, but I'll take such an inconvenience over Google data mining any day. The rabbit hole really goes deep with them. If you allow Google to do it, they'll have 10 years worth of information on your browsing and online activities, as well as information related to what you do in it's apps. Don't blame Dark0ne for Google's bad habits. Too many other sites use Google captcha, and when you're stuck between potential data breaches and minor user inconveniences, you have to go with the latter. Nexus Mods could be sued if user accounts get compromised, and unlike major internet services, they probably couldn't recover from a lawsuit.
  5. Just thought I'd give you an update on this, I'll have some time this weekend to see about at last exporting this model, and if the tools from Dragon Age II I had in mind don't work, I may try to see if someone on here with 3Ds Max installed would be willing to assist in exporting.
  6. Becoming a successful modder in the first place requires passion, dedication, and grit. If one can take those virtues to the professional world of gaming development, I have no doubt that they can release a masterpiece video game. Many fans today look for developers who still pour their hearts into their games, as opposed to faceless profit-first game production. The technology available today, which is continuously improving is simply too good for the latter now. We need many more people to follow in the footsteps of the interviewed in order to create the next golden age of gaming.
  7. Our internet in E.U member states is not safe either :-) His problems likely are not due to Net Neutrality in the U.S yet unless Comcast is his provider.
  8. Good news, although I do not want to get anyone's hopes up too soon. I've managed to successfully import the .mmh files and have combined the two hairstyles into a new model. However, I am unable to export back into .mmh and .msh until I can get a meaningful reply from the DragonBlender scripts' creator as to why his program has a Python script error when you try to do anything with .mmh or .msh. Since the programmer of the scripts is still active, I hope to hear from them soon. I furthermore do not know how well exporting back into .mmh/.msh format will go even if the DragonBlender scripts can be relied on. Hopefully smoothly since hairstyles are simple meshes, and not whole bodies.
  9. At the moment I'm working on finding a solution to the lack of model import tools available for DAO. I might be close to getting the Blender import to work but that's only if it's creator replies to my pms. Ever since 2016, importing .msh files have been a complete headache. I'll let you know how things turn out. Maybe someone else has the Max scripts working just fine and can help with this in the meantime.
  10. What about "Morrigan Sacred Ashes Robes"? Try disabling that and uninstalling it temporarily. I see what seems to be a correlation between that being the last mod you installed before creating this post/having this issue.
  11. Good day Dan, I am working on a mod for the video game Medieval 2 Total War, and considering the theme of the mod it will require some voice acting. Mostly the sort of voice acting that goes in for this type of game (it is an RTS) is not strenuous, and I would estimate one would only need to do a maximum of 20-30 lines short to medium in length at the most to sufficiently voice a role. Unfortunately I cannot followed that link you posted to your soundcloud due to the Nexus forums' formatting issues. Try separating the https part from the rest of the link. That usually allows the full link to be visible. Note that the mod does not accept donations nor would any voice acting roles be paid, but this project is not small and the fanbase of the video game it is being developed for is very large, which would thus give you some esteem on sites such as Moddb if the voice acting is done well. You would of course be credited by username or real name if you prefer for your contributions. If you are interested, reply here and I will send you more details about the project and the nature of the role you would need to voice in the mod. Regards, -AugustiusV
  12. I'd do it since I would enjoy a hairstyle like that myself, but it is very difficult these days to open and import/export Dragon Age Origins' .msh and .mmh files, especially if you don't use Max.
  13. Good day everyone. Ever since BSN forums shut down, I cannot find the latest, most recent version of DATool also known as DA Modder's Toolbox anywhere on the internet. Would anyone here happen to know where DATool can be found now? Would it also be possible for anyone with the latest version to upload at the Nexus it on it's creator's behalf? The Blender import/export script is furthermore outdated for the latest versions of Blender, and cannot be used without downgrading (I don't think Blender 2.41 is downloadable on the Blender foundation's site any longer), which leaves DATool as the only method of importing/exporting models. Thanks in advance to any who can help solve this quandary.
  14. A solution was actually found using the NinjaRipper plugin for Blender. Disregard this thread.
  15. Good day everyone! I am currently stuck trying to figure out how .msh files are being imported into formats which programs such as Blender or Mikshape can read, such as .obj. The dragonBlender import/export tools are now horribly outdated, having been made for Blender 2.49, and will not work with the current Blender 2.8. If anyone is aware of how importing .msh files works in 2018, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  16. We cannot see the exterior of the castle, so it's possible one of them tried to escape and were, of course, killed in the attempt to do so. Or, they were working for Howe to begin with out of jealousy, since the young Cousland did not choose them to sleep with, and they decided to get revenge. I believe this theory is the most plausible (not being 100% serious, but it's still a possibility). Don't let Iona's sweet, innocent smile fool you. She's in it for the money like anyone else.
  17. It'd be great if someone could implement demon summoning as spells requiring blood magic to be active. I've seen the idea passed around a lot but no one ever does it.
