Long time ago my new vegas used to crash like that, then I started making ton of hard saves and it became stable

Usualy resurrected npcs lose alot of functionality, I'd say your best bet is to load a save before you killed them

I don't understand why Maxson souldn't be trusted, he is very clearly doing to danse what he preaches from the beginning. And as you can convince him to spare Paladin Danse's life, Maxson has some good left in him. He is just very committed to the crusade.
