I just want to reply myself. My rig is: Processor: Intel® Core i7-4930K CPU @ 3.40GHz (12 CPUs), ~3.7GHz Memory: 32768MB RAM GPU: AMD Radeon R290X sapphire I can say that SE runs pretty smooth on 70 FPS most times. In specific point (and I mean specific, like, really specific, particular patch of grass or rock or something like that) I get low FPS but it's only a game's issue and not a hardware. And lastly, if you get issues making the game run smooth, you can find help here in the forum :)

can't get skyrim remaster to run no idea whats wrong ?
DrEllert replied to shawnnn35's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
Hey shawnnn35, would you please elaborate exactly on what happens when you try to run the game? Does it load the main menu? Do you even get to the launcher? Or is it when you try a new game, or loading a save? Like the rest here mentioned, your specs are superb, so it can't be a hardware issue. -
First of all, thank you gabrieeltucker for sharing this. Now, I know you said you tried everything, but it might just be a conflicting mod issue. So maybe you can try and re-organize you mods via LOOT? It's a very easy to use program. It automatically loads your mods after you start it, and then you have a button to sort the list (the one that looks like three stripes?) Anyway, if the matter still doesn't resolve, keep us posted so we'll suggest more ideas.

Hi Degrane and next time you can just save the mods as a list. In case you're not familiar how: in NMM, go to plugins. On the left side you'll see a symbol of a sheet of paper with arrow coming out of. That will export your mod list as a text file. Anyway, those are a lot of mods. There's only one way to find out... you'll have to disable them all. If the problem still persists, it's probably something else. If disabling all the mods made the words on the wall active, then it is a mod. Then the hard work begins, and you have to check them one by one to find out which one's the culprit. ... And also just in case, I'd recommend to use SSEEdit and LOOT just to make sure no mod conflicts with another. You need to see if there are any ITMs (Identical To Master) files in your mods. In order to clean them, download first LOOT and then SSEEdit. You can find a guide right here on how to use SSEEdit.

Anyone who know how to remove the sneakeye ?
DrEllert replied to goranpaa's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
Hi you might find this interesting: Clean Menu (No Bethesda logo and smoke intro) (optional no sneak eye) Hope this helps! -
Just want to enlight what the guy above me mentioned: And yeah, now I get it - you can see the water line, while in the other ones the water doesn't have lines.

That's an improvement already! :) So gladly we erased Open Cities from our list of suspects. And your rig's fine... so who's our culprit? Lately many report of CTD's in southern areas of Skyrim. I myself suffer from CTD in the reath (just a little up from the moth cavern) which I solved by fast-traveling to Whiterun and walked all the way back from the other side - which proved to be OK. But I also found something which I posted on other threads, that might interest you: Keep us posted on any advancement and we'll try to do our best. I agree. In the older game it lowered my FPS to 20-30 near any city (from 60; ridiculous!) and also erased almost all the people in Riften (not joking. I had to follow a guide in YouTube on how to restore them. Unbelievable). Though I really like this mod, I don't like it enough to make it go Catholic all over my hiney.

Hi Maelthras and thank you for sharing! Sounds most important. That actually might be the cause, maybe some bad script (even though you said you cleaned them so...) If you find anything else useful let us know!
-
At least you solved the issue, importently. And a pleasure, always glad to help with my little knowledge :)
-
Hi Vrakyas, I don't think I'm getting the issue (and pardon me, I'm a noob that is satisfied with the vanilla look). The under-water should be a-bit visible with reflections on it's surface? And instead it's just bulky with a little bit under-water?

So i must not have a FPS rate oder 60 ?`to play the intro correctly ? ^^ open skyrim prefs ini and search iVSyncPresentInterval=1 and change it to iVSyncPresentInterval=0 then use forced vsync in your graphicscard settings this fixed it for me Well i tried your suggestion but it doesnt helped me out thanks though for the share i will keep searching how to fix this issue  Well if it was a virtual refresh thing it would have been about a drop in the FPS (which means the game would've looked slower and less smooth) and not about thing whacking around like a wabbajack. So first thing's first - Hi kiamashi and thank you for sharing! I'll admit I had the time of my life laughing from the person speaking in a language I'm not fluent in and the whole world gone wild. Just out of curiosity - how many views did you get for this? Also before we continue any, can you please put here on the forum your mods list and PC specs? Just in case you're not sure how to get either... Mods list: 1. In Nexus Mod Manager, go to the Plugins tab. 2. on the left side of the window you'll find a symbol of a sheet of paper with an arrow coming out of. Press on it. 3. Then it will save a file. Feel free to load it here or copy-paste whatever it says. PC Specs: 1. Press Win key + R (the button with windows logo) 2. Type in dxdiag. 3. You have an option to save a file. Save it, and copy-paste it here (or just load the file as well). 4. What we really need to know is CPU, GPU and RAM. If you'd ask me it looks like a mod clash, also. Try disabling all the mods. If the game runs normal after you disabled it, then it is a mod. Then try to turn on and off every mod you have, until you find the one. If it still doesn't work, keep us posted so we'll know what to do next. Also, I don't believe the blame for something of this caliber is about the FPS. If you play with over 60 FPS (like, per say, 100 or 200) small objects in the game will fly around (like kettles, spoons, foods, weapons, armor, jewelry etc.) sry for butting in would this cause bird nest to float in mid air away from trees (i think there nest xD) wrong topic, i thought this was about the beth logo at the start of the game tripping/ spazing out all over the screen.. xD Hi thunderlord2200 and that's an interesting question. I myself have no clue why stuff like that happen, and things stood in mid-air for me as well sometimes (including mammoths, items etc.) In your case however I tend to believe it has something to do with graphics. Maybe a tree is missing, a rock, something like that? Just in case, you can try to clean your game and hopefully it will solve this. Though, just so you know, we discovered lately that cleaning the game might make it crash to desktop in southern areas (reath, reach, rift, etc.) In case you want to know how to clean, you can find a guide here.

OK... so everything's clear and it still doesn't work. have you tried the recycleactor command? the courier will "venish" (just will be relocated to it's palce of origin) and then you can wait an hour or so and he should appear again, this time hopefully delivering the letter. I'll keep you posted about any progress from my side, and search a-bit about a similar issue in old skyrim.

Hey man I also posted it in that other thread about Falkreath

Azrael0610 you are a great benefactor to this forum! That's a good thing to know. Now when I think about it, I did edit my ITM files myself. I will check it again myself and update. Also found this on SSEEdit page:

Striped shadows glitch Skyrim SE please help?
DrEllert replied to 12vegeta12's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
Hi 12vegeta12! Thank you for letting us know. It seems that indeed there's an issue, and my guess is that some of the guys here will know what to advice. In the meanwhile, it will also help us helping you to know your rig's specs (mainly CPU, GPU and RAM). In case you're not sure how to do that: 1. Win key + R 2. Type in DXDIAG 3. At the bottom of the window, there's a save option. Save it to text file. 4. Copy-paste here whatever it says. Also, just in case, we'll need to know your mods list. Also if you're not sure how to extract: 1. In Nexus Mod Manager, go to Plugins tab. 2. On the left side of the window there's an icon of a sheet of paper with arrow coming out of it. Press it. 3. You can load it here as a file, or copy-paste the list, whichever you prefer. Godspeed and I hope someone else will also post solutions. -
I know this gonna sound weird - can you try and start a new game? I want to know if you can't talk to people even then. Also, try to disable all mods- if that fixes it, then it's probably a mod. The guys here would probably know what causes it. My guess is the modded NPC thing? maybe? try putting it up or down in the loading order.

Here's what I did and it partially solved the issue. Each time I travelled by foot or horse the game crashed. So what I did was to fast-travel to Whiterun. When I headed back, everything was OK. I guess it was some sort of a loop in my case.

And again, you are correct sir! I didn't use it myself previously in SE, but today I did and discovered the sad truth. If you want, I believe there are few more posts where I suggested to use it as well. Keep hunting them down ;) And OP, look and the tips the other guys gave. Looks useful.
-
You are correct sir! I tried that myself today and was sad to discover it as well. I hope someone will render it to fit SE.
-
I also has a similar issue, only not in falkreath itself but in the reath. When I'm heading up on the road from falkreath to the crossroads with whiterun, it crashes in the middle of it. I'll post if there's anything new.

Hi SCTYA and thank you for letting us know! So let me get this straight; That's your PC, you have all these mods installed, and the issues is as follows: You go to the rift, and whenever you travel between Ivarstead (the place from which you travel to the throat of the world, right?) and Angarvunde (that tomb after you go down from the twin towers near the waterfall?) the game seems to crash to desktop randomly. Usually, CTD is caused by low RAM, but in your case I don't think that applies (12 RAM?) so let's try a different approach. Just for the deduction, try to set all your mods off, and go there again. Just walk right there. If it doesn't crash, then there you go: a problematic mod. Also, just because I'm curious, try shutting down in particular the Open Cities mod; I myself had a lot of issues with it, so I get a feeling this might help. And last but not least, did you consider that maybe there are some dirty coding in your mods? cleaning them up would maybe solve this. 1. Save Game Script Cleaner - download from the page and follow instruction. Pretty easy. 2. Furthermore, try using LOOT and SSEEdit. You need to see if there are any ITMs (Identical To Master) files in your mods. In order to clean them, download first LOOT and then SSEEdit. You can find a guide right here on how to use SSEEdit. Hope this helps. Keep us posted on any advances or changes.
-
Well keep us posted. I'm glad to hear that at least it solved some of the issues. I too have confusing issues with random FPS drops. But in my case it's never in certain spots; It's always in random non-consistent places (sometimes through the woods, sometimes in snow, and if you go the same place twice the second time would be fine). So... it's a work in progress.

Solution for low FPS 60 to 30 on AMD machines
DrEllert replied to DrEllert's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
You know, just suggestin' - maybe it's a driver's issue. What's your driver's version? maybe you should update? Mine is 16.9.2 -
Hi mattiscool816! It seems that the problem has somewhat to do with the save file or the mods, Can you maybe try to clean your saves and your mods? in case you're not sure how: 1. If the courier still not giving you the letter, you can try one last thing: after cleaning everything, try cleaning an older save file (before you meet this courier, and before you do anything that gives the courier a reason to deliver you the letter) and then try to play from there. Hopefully it would work. Doc out.

The Reach and the city Riften is killing my framerate
DrEllert replied to Shaundi7's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
Not bad at all! GLORIOUS PC MASTER RACE ... and back to business. Yeah OK that is better than even what I have. In the meanwhile I tried going to both Riftrn (and the rift) and Markarth (and the reach). It seems that to me both places run smooth. So my bet is V-sync. Because it's NVidia I'll do my best to help (since it's not what I use). Try using the guide, and I hope that will sort it out for you. If it still low in those places, I'm long-shooting right now - try to disable mods that has something to do with cities (such as open cities though I don't think you have that one, and populated places etc.) My guess is that it won't do a nudge, but I must deduce.
