  1. I've been playing modded games for a couple of years now, and as a slight fan of DOOM, I've wanted a DOOM mashup mod in a Bethesda game for a while. It'd be awesome if someone could make one.
  2. Can you help me personally with the mod? Because I couldn't get it to work. I'm able to crop the sound with Audacity, but I'm failing to make into a mod. I'm moving the vanilla file and my file frmo the desktop to the proper folder, and I made sure to name my file exactly like the vanilla sound file, but I'm getting the vanilla file both times.
  3. What if I want to test it before uploading it? I'd rather not risk giving people crap. I like to make sure my mods work first.
  4. I'm trying to make a mod that replaces the sound of the Laser Musket with the jack-in-the-box sound. I know someone did it already, but I wasn't satisfied with that mod, so I've decided to try to do it in my own way. I'm able to change the sound to my liking, but I wasn't able to make it into a mod, so I was hoping that you guys could help me with that, and learn stuff from this.
  5. Yeah, I was always put off by the furry humans with cat heads and tails, and the green, scaly humans with lizard tails. You know how they say something gets creepy the more human it is? Yeah. Argonians don't look lizard-like at all anymore. I'd like to see something more like Lizardman from Soul Calibur. And for the Khajiit, something less like the Cat in the Hat.
  6. Did you just get trolled by Autocorrect?
  7. Okay, I've made the mod, but now how am I to upload it? When I try, it says I can't upload files in .PNG format.
  8. Making a spell for that wouldn't be simple at all. Closest I can think of is turning a tree into a spriggan, which I imagine to be pretty complicated.
  9. The game already has some pretty long beards. But I guess it's got no wizard beards.
  10. If you find something like it, will you let me know? It would be pretty cool. Ebony set seems like a good base.
  11. Try uninstalling everything again and reinstalling Dark Souls.
  12. That's because you can't actually use NMM to launch Dark Souls, unfortunately. You need to install everything manually. You need to install DSFix, and then download your mods manually, and extract them into dsfix\tex_override, assuming they're texture mods. Otherwise, follow the instructions.
  13. Try playing the game without DSFix. Could be you messed up installing something. If it works again, then try installing DSFix 2.4. You do know all the right folders to put everything in, right?
  14. Would you be able to tell me how I would go about editing the textures? I would like to change the messages around.
  15. Because you simply can't use NMM for Dark Souls. You have to manually download all of your DS mods. There are barely any mods for Dark Souls anyways, so it's not biggie. Just download DSFix, plunk it into your DS folder, download whichever mod you want, and extract it into Dark Souls\DSFix\tex_dump\tex_override.
  16. I use the proper bow. There's a taunt for everybody. Maybe if we could choose which taunt to replace, assuming such a mod would be possible.
  17. I think it's in From's interest for players to experience Dark Souls in its vanilla form. I mod the crap out of Skyrim, but I only have DSFix and retextures for Dark Souls.
  18. Boss VS Boss is cool. But you already get pretty standard rewards from bosses. Personally, I don't like touching the gameplay at all for Dark Souls, except for if I want to give myself a special challenge for certain runs.
  19. That would be funny. I'd possibly download a mod like this. Someone's made a mod that replaces the main and credits themes to the Demon's Souls variants, so hopefully more mods like that come. I'd like for the entire soundtrack to be replaced with different songs like Asylum by Disturbed for the Asylum Demon, and the Benny Hill theme for the Taurus Demon and Ceaseless Discharge, etc.
  20. The messages for recovering my bloodstain and killing bosses and stuff are pretty entertainingly silly on Xbox. "YOU DEFEATED" and "YOU RECOVERED". But on PC, it's something boring like "RECOVERY" and "VICTORY ACHIEVED". I've been looking around for a mod that fixes this, but I've come across empty-handed, and I have no idea how to make any sort of mod for Dark Souls. So if I could get the expertise of the modding community to make a mod like this, that would be awesome.
  21. Go on Playfire if you want a site where you can request the Internet for help on any platform. This is for PC gaming. I have Dark Souls on both, but yeah.
  22. DSFix first of all, DSCFix (Dark Souls Connectivity Fix), Andre's Cranial Ember, Beards. If you grew up on Mario, I'd recommend Bob-Omb Battlefield Painting Replacer (whatever it's called). Go on Nexus and just browse the database. There are a few good mods on there, and Dark Souls doesn't have an overwhelmingly vast amount of mods like Skyrim does. Pretty much all of the mentioned mods are on there. For Dark Souls, I like vanilla friendly mods and funny mods.
