LE [Request] Insane Slider Capabilities
Meisenbach replied to PkFireAlpha's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
With Bodyslide, you can jusut type 1000 in the sliders. But it only works for the torso and limbs, though. And I don't think it works for the hands and feet. -
How to upload mods to the skyrim nexus?
Meisenbach replied to LordSn0w's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Or you can also have separate files, as well as another file that includes both the game save and the character. -
In response to post #23595219. #23595369, #23595554, #23725649, #23781804, #23812314, #23813704, #23819184, #23825634, #23826809, #23833544 are all replies on the same post. Thank you, EnaiSiaion. And when I download a mod, I just want to enjoy it, not browse through hundreds of comments just to find a simple solution to a problem of mine.

I only ask for help when I'm stuck. And the main reasons why I comment on mods is to give my opinion or constructive criticism and suggestions. Also, people who are new to this site don't understand what the people who make these big, popular mods go through. But if I were to make a popular overhaul, I think I would do whatever I can to help the people who downloaded my mod.

In response to post #23594979. #23595194 is also a reply to the same post. And mods are usually made with inferior quality as well, since they're done by amateurs. One of the main reasons why I'm touchy about quest mods is that the voice acting is either poor or nonexistent, and they're not always lore friendly.

I don't want this to happen. Paid mods is the last thing that I want. I don't think I can ever see myself paying for one. That's what official DLC is for. And the Nexus community is already toxic as it is. I've had people flip out just when I asked for help, and been blocked for giving my opinion on a mod, and even for giving helpful suggestions because so many people on this site seem to think that the comments section is just for compliments, when I see it as an area for discussion, help, tips for the mod author and downloaders, and for constructive criticism for the author to improve the mod. And the monetization of mods would make permission almost impossible to get from other authors, meaning less awesome mods would be made. If mods would have been curated before Immersive Armours and Weapons, and Legacy of the Dragonborn, mods such as those (I absolutely love the latter by the way, and Aurien is my new favourite altmer), then those mods wouldn't have existed, or at least been much smaller scale and LotDB would have been a petty mod. And again with the touchy community, having to cover your opinions and suggestions with butter, sugar, peanut butter, jam, maple syrup, and chocolate; monetization of mods would cause massive fights, and yes, I can see multiple lawsuits, and possibly even the end of this site. Totally not worth it at all. If you want to make money for creating content, go apply at a company and be a developer making official content. Modding is something we should be doing for fun and to improve our enjoyment of video games. And to anyone who flips out about noob questions or blocks people for suggestions and criticism, lighten up! The former people are new to modding and the latter people are trying to help you. Live to be happy, and try to be more positive and think about the fun that's supposed to be in gaming and modding. Don't take hobbies so seriously. I'm sorry for the wall of rant, but I'm just so surprised at how touchy people can be. I hope my opinions don't offend anyone.

Need help clamping my FPS like how it is done in New Vegas
Meisenbach replied to Dweedle's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I need this too. And I need to be able to tweak it myself, because I'm already struggling to squeeze my mods together, and I can't have any clutter in my load order. -
Hello. I've made a mod that makes Lydia less annoying. It works for me. I uploaded it, downloaded it because testing, but I couldn't install it. When I try, I immediately get an error message that reads "None of the available installer plugins were able to handle that archive." How can I resolve this? Any help would be appreciated.

On the Nexus, I clicked on a mod called Arrow Damage Decrease. It said I was blocked by the author. So I googled the mod, and it was apparently posted by you, knightpk2. I don't know who you are, or if I made a disrespectful post on one of your mods. But if I did, I forget what it was and I apologize. And I'm wondering if we can come to terms on this matter. Thanks.

Same thing happens when I try to drag files from my overwrite into previous mods. I have no idea why, but it's really poopy.

LE Name weapons without enchanting them . . .
Meisenbach replied to Sierra312's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
There's already a mod for that. It lets you rename absolutaly anything. It's called Jaxonz Renamer. Just hit \ to rename stuff. So you can rename J'Zargo "Mittens", or rename a strongbox "shitpile" or anything else. -
Multiple master files selected for load.
Meisenbach replied to David Brasher's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Thanks! Now I can continue working on my weapon balancing overhaul! -
i THOUGHT bethesda did it some time in there games, its odd that they would take it out after being such a great way of attacking... either way, i would say seconded, but im not the second person hoping for this, so ill just say aye to the those who want it. Someone is working on a modder's resource that will let people make a mod like this.

I've been thinking about this this week. I'm a total noob at modding, but I hypothesize that maybe when you're standing over an unaware enemy, you can press right attack to trigger an air assassination. Yes, exactly like in Assassin's creed, and make a FOMOD or MCM in which you can decide whether you want to combine sneak damage amongst critical, power attack, and killmove damage; or just make it an instant kill. Then maybe for dragons, it could work like plunging attacks in Dark Souls, except with a minigame for hovering ones that challenge you to stay on the dragon and keep damaging them, much like rodeoing a titan in Titanfall.
-
You can't. You can only get mods on the PC port.
-
I'm a sucky noob at modding, just putting it out there. But I still have something to say. Your post was entertaining, and I like the vanilla killmoves as well as the extra ones in VioLens. But your idea seems cool as well. I'd like different killmoves on dragons. When you finish one with a shout, Dragonborn should shout dragon style or something. Finish it with your fists like a boss? Kick teeth in, vault on his head, kick off a horn and kill it Hercules style. Battle axe? Chop a scale off its head and hack at its brain. Warhammer? Just smash its skull in. Etcetera. f*#@ing badass.
-
It would be cool to have a configurable chance without restrictions for killmoves approximately as quick as normal attacks, and guaranteed killmoves on the last enemy in the vicinity.

Runescape. You don't have to do anything in those fights except occasionally use consumables. But except Jagex is greedy and forces subscriptions on their players.

LE True Historical Archery Animations request
Meisenbach replied to kiwiMsama's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
The ranger perk and the one that lets you draw a bow faster are the closest thing that I know of. Somebody might be working on a mod that lets you fight while jumping and swimming. The gameplay mod I want the most, though, is one for angular sprinting like in The Elder Scrolls Online, and for sprint jumping like in Call of Duty and Halo.- 6 replies

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/40994/? Falmer are very similar to him, and this is lore friendly, if you can get past him talking like a dunmer.
