  1. I have the plugin for GIMP, I use GIMP, I don't know what to do with the Specular Textures (i.e. how to make some parts shiny and others show more of the textures and not look so weathered).
  2. I've made a new paint job for Power Armour and for the most part it looks awesome, however I have one issue with it and it refers to the Specular Texture I am using. I've used the Jaws specular texture for my armour because I like how it makes the exposed metal parts shine unlike the standard specular texture, however on the X-01 armour it has weathered parts that have a blue-ish colour that I don't like. Also the T-60 armour - despite which specular I use - has a lot of weather on the helmet and arms, it's like this for all standard textures too, I would also like to change this. Any help would be very much appreciated, thanks. P.S. I use G.I.M.P for 2D Imaging, I don't have Photoshop.
  3. No need to reply to this I've figured it out now.
  4. I want to make a stand-alone paint job for all of the Power Armour types and I want to base it from the Military paint job as it is also available for all types but I can't find the Texture. I'm not sure if it is even a texture, it could be a material and if so how do I retexture a material. The only textures I can find are the Hot Rod paint jobs and Unique paint jobs. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
  5. It can't be the mesh as I duplicated the Metal Box which means my container uses the same mesh.
  6. I suppose that would work as well as the WorkshopAnythingIsGround Actor Value but the standard metal box has no Actor Value yet it is still stackable, I would really like to know what makes that stackable.
  7. I'm working on a mod that adds new objects to the Workshop but I've run into a problem. For example, I've made a duplicate of the Metal Box and copied everything, however when placed in the world the standard metal box is stackable yet mine is not and I cannot find what causes this. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks. Edit: Well I've managed to solve the problem, the footlocker has the actor value WorkshopAnythingIsGround which allows it to be stacked and I've added this to my metal box, however the standard metal box don't have this so I would still like to know if there is any other function to allow this. P.S. Why can't the Fallout Creation Kit be more like the Skyrim Creation Kit, I can find thing in there but this one is so confusing.
  8. All I did was duplicate the 'WorkshopMetalBox' object, add the items I wanted and made it respawnable. Then I duplicated the 'workshop_co_MetalBox' recipe, changed the created object to mine and changed the Workbench keyword to 'WorkshopWorkbenchTypeCrafting' and the Recipe Filter to 'WorkshopRecipeFilterCrafting' so it would appear under the Crafting sub-category. Yet it does not appear with the items inside.
  9. Hi, I've made this mod that adds a container to the Workshop, it contains items that I would like to be in there when you place it, however there seems to be some settings/coding that prevents any container - build from the Workshop - appearing with item inside. I would like to know if there is a script I could add the will either make my container exempt from this, or that will add the items to the container after it has been placed (I'd prefer the former). Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
  10. I'm trying to create a container for the workshop that will have a few items inside, however when I build it in-game it's empty. Is there any way to work around the in-build setting that makes all workshop containers start empty? I've tried removing keywords and such but so far I've had no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
  11. I don't use any mods. I like to play the game how it was intended first, and I'll likely not mod it until the G.E.C.K. is released.
  12. I only have 15 defence at the settlements that have people at them, as I stated I haven't really done anything with settlements yet. Well I have 5 artillery, 10 missile turrets and 5 heavy machine gun turrets at The Castle, totalling 200+ defence, I tell you the Institute and the Brotherhood of Steel didn't stand a chance.
  13. I've completed everything, literally everything and I still can't receive them, I too have nothing else to do.
  14. I can no longer receive quests from Preston or the Radio. I am unsure if this is a bug or if I is because I have yet to establish enough settlements, by establish I mean increase the population, add food and water etc. as thus far I have just unlocked the Work Station and have a few settlers at a few locations. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
  15. That wiki was a great help as I want to give Virgil the serum so I can't decline Father's offer at first meeting him, however I'm torn between ending it after Bunker Hill (negative conversation with Father) or progressing through the institute quests until Pinned where I will side with the minutemen at Graygardens against the Institute so I can also become hostile towards the Brotherhood of Steel after the Mass Fusion quest. P.S. Does McDonough get exposed after the main quest if you get the Institutes power up and running (complete Mass Fusion quest for them)?
  16. I'm on my second playthrough of Fallout 4 and I want to destroy the Institute with the Minutemen but to do so I need to loose favour with them. What is the easiest way of doing this without joining the Brotherhood or Railroad and is it possible to do without murdering anyone? Any help would be very much appreciated, thanks.
  17. I would like to make Skyrim as beautifully realistic as possible so I would like to know what mods I need to do this. I am not limited to what my PC can handle as it is a beast, however I am running about 50 non-visual mods and I'm not sure if there's a limit to how many mods that can run together. Any help would be very much appreciated, thanks.
  18. I've recently upgraded to Windows 10 (from Windows 7) and have reinstalled all of my games, when I went to play Fallout New Vegas (steam version) I could no longer open the console command window; This also happens with Oblivion (Steam version) and Morrowind (Non-Steam version), however I can open and use the console command window for Skyrim (Steam version) so I've ruled it out as a Steam issue and I don't know what else to do. The console command windows for the aforementioned games work on Windows 7, they've only since ceased after upgrading to Windows 10. Any help would be very much appreciated, thanks.
  19. I started a thread about the same thing but didn't realize there was one already here. I think the best way to do it would be if a male voice actor and a female voice actor re-voiced all of the vanilla dialogue (yes a big undertaking but worth it) and then also voiced any mods that wish to add character dialogue. Maybe starting a whole new type of mod: Character Voice Overhaul.
  20. This has been bugging me for quite some time and I would like to hear other peoples opinions. Whether it be Oblivion, Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas or Skyrim I only play quest mods that are fully voiced, however with Fallout 4's protagonist being voice there will be no way to voice their side of the conversation and thus making fully voiced quest mods impossible. Unless this spawns a whole new type of mod: Complete Character Voice Overhauls; Where talented voice actors (and actresses) re-voice all of the protagonists dialogue who then can offer their services to authors of quest mods that wish them to be fully voiced. If anybody else has had the same thought or just wish to voice your opinion leave a comment, I'm eager to hear what other Fallout fans/modders have to say.
  21. Is there a mod that lets you wear your armour in Skyhold, I'm planning on getting DA:I for the PC as I have completed it on Xbox One but I'm waiting until I've found all the mods I want to use to make the way I want it. I've seen various "pajamas" mods but I don't find any dalishy enough (I like to play as and "elfy elf), I like the dalish scout armour and would love it if I could wear that instead of the "pajamas". Basically I would like to know if there is a mods or how easy would it be to make one that does this. Any help would be very much appreciated, thanks.
  22. I used the same script that that is used for Houses For Sale (at least the Imperial City Shack) that attaches to the interior door and is a 'OnLoad' command with a quest compete message. I also changed the quest a bit, I now only receive a letter about the house which then directs me to Jensine to purchase the deed (along with the key that the deed adds 'OnAdd' as well as setting the deed price to 0), then I'm directed to the house and as I enter it shows a message saying "blah blah" and the quest is complete. As you can see I figured the rest of the script out myself but I couldn't have done it without the both of you helping so thank, I will give you credit when I finalize it and upload it to the Nexus which I will do in the next few days so if you'd like to check it out please do so, the file on the Nexus will be 'Elvenwatch Manor'. Thanks again for all you help.
  23. I'm going off now but I could still really use some help, I'll be back on in about 12 hours if you're still willing to help me, I would very much appreciate it, thanks.
