  1. The door still doesn't work, I tried it without the script on it and it works then, just not with the script on it. If I was to use the IsInCell script, where would I put that?

I created a new door to put the script on (Base ID) the quest worked fine but I couldn't use the door, could I link the script to the interior cell of my house, though I don't know where to put it. Something like this: begin (not sure what to put) If IsInCell ICElvenGardensElvenwatchmanor = 1 setstage ElvenManorQuest 20 end (might need some bracets somewhere)
  3. I did that earlier but it has a lot of unnecessary stuff. The quest is completed right after it is active, how do I make it so that you have to go to the house to complete the quest?

  5. What about completing the quest, when you enter the house after being told to go there via quest marker.
  6. It still doesn't save, it says "all script commands must be inside begin/end block"
  7. The script won't save there's a problem with line 3 "begin gamemode" it says there's mismatched begin/end block starting on line 3
  8. I've changed to quest name to ElvenwatchManor so it doesn't matter now, please continue.
  9. Done. The quest name is EWManorQuest do I put that where it says "( GetStage ElvenwatchManor <= 0 )"

  11. Yes please, I've almost mastered every aspect of the Construction Set (also Fallout's G.E.C.K. and the Skyrim Creation Kit) except quests, I haven't had a reason to until now.

I've made myself a player house which I will upload to the Nexus when it is finished, I just have one problem: I want to add a small quest that activates when leaving the Tutorial or straight away if you've already done that. This quest will give you the key and deed upon activating and then directs you to the house, once in the house it will compete. I know it would be easier to just have the key to the house on it's door step but that's not immersive enough for me. I've looked for tutorials for quests but I haven't found any that don't include NPC's, I'm not new to the Construction Set but I've yet to dabble in questing, though I know basic scripting. Any help would be very much appreciated, thanks.
  13. I know there are many mods already out there but they all have features I don't want, all I want is to be able to have more than one follower (I don't yet know how many I want exactly) and non of the extras. Any help would be very much appreciated, thanks.

  15. It wasn't THE G.E.C.K that I couldn't see it in, I have meshes from the data folder set to be open in the G.E.C.K. it just brings up the preview window. What do I need checked and unchecked when exporting, do I also need to import anything else and is there anything I shouldn't delete?
  16. How do I change the node. P.S. I've just tested it but I seem to have forgotten how to do whatever it was I did before because I can't even see it the G.E.C.K.
