  1. What are you talking about? There are others who believe evolution is false, and they do not subscribe to the flat earth theory?
  2. I'm playing Ace Combat 4, shattered skies for the PS2. A fun, aerial combat game.
  3. If your upgrading and going to use a used one, I'd say perhaps, $100-$250, for a general or upgrade replacement, though you could find a good one cheeper. Unless you want to perform an extreme overhaul on the computer, and don't care about expense, I'd steer clear of the used ones that are over $300.
  4. Well? I'm waiting. Here's one idea Take 10% of the national tax, and set it aside to give to those who need expensive medical treatment that is either not covered by their insurance, or who do not have health insurance. send a man or woman, (who is not tied to politics, and who is trustworthy and honest,) for every 500 to 10000 square miles (Depending on population,) and place him or her in charge of justly distributing this money to the needy. Let him or her hire good helpers, as trustworthy as him or her, and have these insure the money is given only to those who need it and that the money is used as such. Like-wise, take 10% of the taxes in each state, and give it to those who can not afford assurance, and wish to do so. Place a honest and trustworthy man or woman in charge of this money, one for every 3-10 counties, again, to be determined by population, and likewise, let him or her hire honest and trust-worthy men and women to over see that the money is given to those who honestly need it and for the right purposes. Let this money be used for things, such as prescriptions, vaccines, and emergency treatments, as well as dental care. Place strong consequences on any who purposely misuse this money, such as to get prescription drugs to sell on the market. For everyone else who can afford it, let them buy their assurance freely, and force them not. Place necessary requirements on companies to prevent them from denying anyone due to per-conditions, and to insure they keep a fair price for their services. Let them compete on the market, but make certain they do not scam their customers. Of course, this is a plan if you want the government to help out, while not interfering with your rights. Using this method might work, but implementing it in a nation with trillions in debt, corrupt politicians, and various other problems would be the challenge, especially if avoiding tax increases, however, it can be done.
  5. I'm not necessarily a fan of everything in starwars, but I used to play that mod on my back-up laptop all the time. (I'd play it on my gaming laptop, but mount and blade seems to b e having a problem with mods in general.) I think it's a great idea! Go for it!
  6. Forza and Forza three where not too bad, but Gran Trusimo has always had more cars, (I don't know how many Forza 4 has, though.) About the only advantage Forza 3 had over GT5 is that you could customize your cars with manufacture decal and such. And the online auction thing, if you had live.
  7. I think the video card connects the motherboard to the monitor, if I remember correctly.
  8. I'm thinking it might be the power supply unit. It might not be able to supply the right power to the computer to reach full computing capacity, perhaps. It is possible for a device to work in part, but not have the recommended power system. I have a small citiuris 5" TV that could charge with a psp cable, but could not run with one because it required 10 volts where as the PSP charger only had about 5.5 volts. If your computer's power isn't what it needs, a similar thing could happen with it's graphics capability. If that is the case, I'd think you'd only need perhaps about 5-15% more power. Of course, I'm no expert on this, so it's best to have someone else check into this, but it's a suggestion.
  9. GHz, Ram, and hard drive looks fine, I'd guess it's either in the mother broad, power supply, or video card. Tell me, is the processor in your brother's computer a replacement, or the one that came with the computer?
  10. Meh... too many pages, too many questionable portions, too many inflammatory laws, too expensive... The real problem is that I think my one year old cat could do better. I could do better. Any of us on this forums could do better. Heck, even Hai:)/Lovvie from the WCF could do better.
  11. Thanks! I started with Sim City 2000 or the PlayStation one, then played Sim city 3000 (CD broke, sadly), and after that, Sim City 4. Sim cities societies isn't too bad, but sim city four is better. The sims is pretty fun, but not everyone likes them. currently, I'm having a hard time deciding weather Sims 3 is better on the PS3 or PC. On the PC, I can utilize add-ons form mod the sims and or the sims store, but on the PS3, I don't have to worry about system requirements or a laptop overheating.
  12. I like saying feel old, Mount and blade mods that have patrols (A significant amount I've tried for war band lack those for some reason,) Random comparisons between cats and cat-fish, People who make funny rants without cussing and being nasty, games without any heavy adult and spiritual themes, Church, common sense, Funny spoofs without cussing and being nasty, plotting to write a book about civilized cats that does not constitute a warriors fan-fiction piece and can their for be published, being nice, using automatic spell-check, Ranting about nothing in particular, riding a lawn rider (Blade-less lawn mower) for an hour straight just thinking about new book ideas and listening to music, And praying for rain. (Yes, we do need rain where I live.)
  13. I paid about $26 for them with shipping. If you take the $15 for shipping out, about $11.
  14. Ok, so I have 11 games coming through the mail, older games, sure, but who said oldies can't be fun? And the best thing is, most of these games are playable on my oldest laptop. Anyways, here are the games: Moon Tycoon The Sims Sim City 3000 Sims Theme park The Sims online Sim city Streets of Sim City Sim Copter Sim Tower Sim Isle Sim Safari
  15. Hmmm.... Building a custom desktop would be easy...but converting it into a kind of laptop...a bit of a different story. For starters, getting the screen would probably be only a moderate difficulty, provided enough study and materials exist. But the battery? That's a tad bit different, if I utilize a desktop motherboard. Alternatively, a laptop motherboard would be more, easier, to utilize a battery with, but it still has difficulties. Additionally, a rig would have to made for the keyboard and mouse, or alternatively, as pwnedbyscope said, a wireless keyboard/mouse, perhaps with a kind of holder rig when setting in a car?. And then, there's other difficulties, such as custom features. One could add a kind of memory card slot to save things like pictures, documents, and such, and a second one for data transfer, but one could add a smaller hard drive at the same time. Then, a DVD rom, would be critical, however, adding a Blue-Ray disk player might be a good option, providing the computer can utilize one and has enough room. At least one USB cord would be necessary. And Wi-Fi would be good too. One might add a floppy drive just for kicks if more room to add hardware persist.
